Someone needs to expain to me how Harvey got kidnapped if the Commissioner caught Joker right when they saved Dent. Maroni had it set up through the crooked cops. The knew where Dent was afterwards and basically kidnapped him.

They should have explained it better. I was very confused.

Yeah it was very screwy. Maroni and the Joker must have set up where to put them to begin with.

They should have explained it better. I was very confused. There was like 15 mins. of Dent tracking people down and piecing information together. They explained it through that...it wasn't hard to figure out.

- Uhhhhhh, was Batman even in the movie? Seriously, I thought the point of restarting the series was to make it about Batman again. Bale had hardly any time on screen as Batman and even less as Bruce Wayne. There was no emotional connection to him and if there was, it was just left over from Begins. The "Batman" that The Joker killed almost got as much screen time as the real Batman. - Plot holes. As someone pointed out on IMDB....so after he throw Rachel out the window, and Dent is still hiding, the Joker just quietly leaves the party, so that Batman and Rachel can have their scene in the street? WTF? He just gave up his search for Dent and decided to go home and catch some Golden Girls reruns? Batman was in there a good amount of time, I never felt his appearances were limited. After that whole party scene I said to myself "Uh, isn't Joker still up there?", they definitely should have had some sort of scene of Joker leaving or whatever. Yeah the Joker still at the party part was the only thing that I thought didn't make sense at all.

I just got back from a Get Smart/Dark Knight double feature friday at the drive in. I must say, I am one impatiant man and they took away my hard hat....lol-i was screaming all throught Get Smart "If Batman isn't on soon I RIOT" I was just really pissed that I had to see a 40yr old virgin and the most electrifying man in sport entiertinment kiss.....yeah almsot made me go home...
But then it finally came, I am not going to write a epic review just yet, I didn't take notes and I rember bits and pieces....plus its 2am. Going to see it in the theater, taking nots for my review....before I wrap this up, a mild review is....
Ledgers proformance is Oscar worthy if he dosent get it, I just don't know what I will do. Bale needs to not whisper as batman And Dents profrmance was epic. Not as good as Ledgers...
Overal:9.5/10

Dent can't be dead, he fell 10 feet, same as batman. It was a service honoring what he's done and letting batman take the fall.

2. Maggie Gyllenaal is absolutely terrible. I'm glad they wrote the Rachel Dawes character out, because how did Dawes get 6" taller, and fugly between films? Yes, I know Holmes sucked too, but maybe diminishing the role of the character to make it less obvious would have been the route to go. I disagree. Personal taste, of course, but I find Maggie to be absolutely gorgeous, and an amazing actress. She worked with what she had and she did it well.

Just got back, & this film was unreal. I have never paid to see a movie more than once, but I'll see this at least one more time.
I can remember when Ledger was first announced as the Joker, a lot of people (myself included) were a little dumb-founded. I just thought, "Really? This guy?" But when I saw his first photo as the Joker, I knew he would be ok, but him as the Joker blew any expectation I had out of the water. I work at a Blockbuster & have spent the last 4 years watching multiple movies a week, but him as the Joker goes down in my top ten preformances of all time. Whether its true or not, I heard that there were a lot more scenes recorded with Ledger, to the point where they could use them for the next film & they would only need a stand in for a few shots. If thats true, I'm all for having him in the next movie.
I agree Eckhart's preformance will get over-looked by Ledger's, but he did a great, job. I don't think he is dead & he will be in the next film.

It also depends on the way they fell. As far as the Joker leaving the party, Dent was hidden, he couldn't find him, knew Batman was there and was going to spoil the party, so he took off before Batman could best him.
