I'm rooting for GSP but I'm no way in hell doubting Fitch. Fitch has been on a roll. And if GSP unerestimates Fitch in the slightest bit, we may see an upset here. And Like Rogan just said, Fitch imo is GSP's toughest Title Defense.

Great night. Florian, Lesnar, GSP, Kongo, Mcrory, and Maia all pulled it out for me.

It was a good card tonight, I don't post in these boards much but I just thought It would be cool to today. It was cool seeing GSP pick up the win, also Kongo for a nice KO. I really wanted Manny to win, as I thought Emerson was the most boring fighter I had ever watched on the Ult. Fighter, but he proved me wrong tonight. As for Brock, I really liked him in the 'E, but Cannot stand him now. He is too cocky, and to get a win, after losing after a rookie move, and being like "Can you see me now!", is truthfully retarted. He showed no respect to Herring, and just acted like he was the best crapin the world, in truth I would love for him to face even Gonzoga just to get his face punched in. But he did win, and did last 3 round so congrats Brock, but hopefully you get you knocked on your a$$.

im very happy with tonights ppv.
Fitch is a warrior, what heart. Congratz GSP. Kenny Florian completely outclassed Roger Huerta...but props to Huerta who came with Josh Haynes style heart. Brocks a monster. If only he utilized the hooks. Damien Maia, is just scary on the ground...soooo good. Props to Jason Mcdonald for doing so well with him on the ground. Rob Emerson...wow. NICE. Poor Manvil

The Lesnar fight was brutal. Seriously, Brock had Heath's back the whole match and still didnt put a choke in. Are you ing serious? Fitch/St. Pierre couldve been better, it was just too dominant of St. Pierre's part for it to actually be a great fight in my opinion.

Not a bad night of fights. I think all Lesnar showed tonight is that he has power, he still has a LOT of work to do. He needs to work on doing something besides holding someone down.

For a guy who just finished his third pro fight -- two of which were Frank Mir and Heath Herring -- Brock Lesnar is doing just fine. People lose sight of the fact that this guy is a rookie. Of course he's got some learning to do... he'll get there.
Regarding his lack of sinking in the hooks or trying for submissions when he had Heath's back numerous times, part of me wonders if that was Brock fighting realistically, knowing his own limitations. Since Herring is so much more experienced than Brock with submission fighting, I have to wonder if Brock went out of his way not to instigate a submission-based struggle, even if he was the aggressor and had better position.
The bigger problem, in my view, was that Brock took full mount more than once, and didn't start dropping bombs on Heath. We can give Brock a pass on having a still-weak submission game, but we *know* the guy can throw serious leather. Why didn't he do it from full mount?
But yeah, Brock will get better, and he's good enough right now to make that a scary thought. I loved how Lesnar hit Herring in the face so hard that Herring did a full, involuntary backwards somersault from the force of the blow. That's some straight-up cartoon stuff right there. I think I saw that on a Looney Tunes episode once!

Well I'm a happy chap after watching ordering UFC 87, GSP dominating Fitch with Fitch's heart the only thing keeping him in, and Lesnar putting in a safe victory over an established fighter was great to watch. It was a good night of fights overall, Maia/Macdonald was good as was GSP/Fitch (pretty much for GSP) and there weren't really any bad fights on there.
GSP is the man I must say and when he faces off with Penn, I honestly see him being too good for BJ.

You guys realize that Lesnar completely obliterated Heath Herring right? Contrary to what you might think not every fighter goes in there to get a stoppage. Lesnar said before this fight that he was intending on utilizing the whole 15 minutes and that's exactly what he did. Going for chokes, raining down elbows and hands, etc... takes energy, vital energy if your game plan is to go 15 minutes. The bottom line is, Heath Herring did absolutely nothing in this fight. Not because Herring's a bad fighter, not because he had a bad night, but because Lesnar completely dominated him beginning to end and defeated Herring without any shadow of a doubt.

Man, a great night of fights. Brock just dominated Heath. He mauled him, just like a friggin' bear. At the first few seconds in the first round when Brock drilled Heath with that punch, Heath looked like a ing tumbleweed blowing away!! Congrats go to Ken-Flo, but I do not think he will beat Penn, but you never know. And GSP...Wow. 5 straight rounds of pure domination. Fitch just found out the hard way that GSP is just a whole different class of fighter. I have no idea who will stop GSP at this point. He's just too dominant. And poor Manny...He was my pick in that fight and he just came in too wild and got his lights turned out and in a hurry. 12 seconds...Geesh, Emerson crushed him. And Damien Maia finished off MacDonald, which means he's got to be getting close to a title shot here soon. Can't wait for the next UFC!!

Quite a good night for the UFC.
Given Brock's ultra-dominant performance, I'll say this now: if the buyrate of this PPV comes back strong, Brock's next match might just be a #1 Contendership.
No matter if you love him or hate him, Brock had game in that fight.
It's a good time to be an MMA fan, gents.
