Yeah the CPU's QB's are all way too accurate, and my other huge problem is the Linebackers pick like every pass up the middle off, it's ridiculous. Great job with this though, really enjoyable.

Game Stats:_________ | Green Bay | Houston | Score | 27 | 21 | Total Offense | 365 | 320 | First Downs | 22 | 14 | Turnovers | 1 | 2 | Time of Possession | 18:38 | 11:21 |
Packers Sneak by Texans GREEN BAY – Green Bay pulled out a 27-21 victory over the warm weather Houston Texans in a snow covered tundra.
Things got off to a great start for Green Bay as they moved down the field with great effiency and punched in a score from the one yard line. The Texans answered back with a 50 yard TD pass when Tramon Williams slipped in coverage. Unable to stop the Packers offense, Houston let the Packers march down he field again for another touchdown from Grant. After a Mason Crosby FG, the Pack went into halftime up 17-7.
Houston started the 2nd half with a nice drive that was capped off by a 3 yard TD from former Packer running back Ahman Green. After a turnover, the Texans capitalized with another touchdown to put them up 21-17 going into the 4th. The next drive for Green Bay stalled, and Mason Crosby netted a FG to put the game at 21-20.
In what seems to be the norm this year, the Green Bay defense made a big play when it was needed. As the Texas were marching into Green Bay territory, Matt Schaub fumbled the ball on a sack when he was crushed by Aaron Kampan. On the very next play, Ryan Grant exploded off the right side and scored on a 63 yard scamper that put the Pack up 27-21 with 2:02 left in the 4th. The Green Bay defense held, and pulled out a tough victory in Lambeau.
Ryan Grant finished the day with 151 yards and 3 TDs. He spoke to the media after the game. "I had huge lanes today, so I gotta give thanks to the lineman first" said Grant. "When I took the ball off the right side at the end, I saw nothing but green and ran as hard as I could." When asked about making plays for the team, Ryan spoke humbly. "It's great to feel like you made the big play to win the game, but it was a group effort. Our defense made a play when we needed it, and I just took it from there."
Green Bay will head towards the warm waters of the Florida coast next week as they clash with the 9-4 Jaguars.

Game Stats:_________ | Green Bay | Jacksonville | Score | 34 | 14 | Total Offense | 322 | 238 | First Downs | 15 | 14 | Turnovers | 0 | 3 | Time of Possession | 16:00 | 15:59 |
Green Bay uses Turnovers to Tame the Jags GREEN BAY – A stingy Green Bay defense helped net the Packers their 12th win of the season as they overtook the Jags 34-14 in Jacksonville.
A rocky start for the Jaguars almost did them in before they had a chance to play. On the 1st play from scrimmage, Fred Taylor was stripped by Cullen Jenkins inside the 20 yard line. Green Bay capitalized with a 9 yard touchdown strike to Greg Jennings. On the next drive, David Garrard scrambled to the right to avoid a blitz and ran right into Aaron Kampan, causing him to cough up the football inside the 20 again. Garrard left the game after that play and never returned. The Packers capitalized again with another touchdown strike to Greg Jennings. After some Mason Crosby field goals, the Packers went into halftime up 20-0 to the dismay of the Jaguar crowd.
The same continued in the 2nd half, as back-up QB Cleo Lemon never got into a rhythm with his offensive unit. Multiple 3 and outs put the Green Bay offense in great field position, and right before the 3rd quarter ended, Aaron Rodgers connected on a 19 yard touchdown pass to Greg Jennings. After finally getting some points on the board, the Jaguars next drive ended when Nick Collins picked off a pass and took it back to the house for the 34-7 dagger.
Greg Jennings had a career day, catching 12 balls for 155 yards and 3 touchdowns. We caught up with him in the locker room after the game. "I felt unstoppable today" said Jennings. "I was in strange rhythm with Aaron today, because I'd turn around hoping he'd see me open, and the ball would already be there." Aaron Rodgers touched on the rhythm he's developed with his star WR. "Greg never quits" said Rodgers. "Whenever I drop back, I know he's going 100% no matter the situation."
Green Bay travels to Chicago to face their hated rival Bears on Monday Night Football. If the Packers can get a win in Chicago, they'll clinch homefield advantage for the playoffs.

What to Watch for in Week 16 - Ravens (7-7) vs Cowboys (9-5) - The Cowboys have a playoff berth clinched, but the Ravens are fighting for their playoff lives and will be looking for a huge win in big D. Meanwhile, the Cowboys can clinch the NFC East with a victory.
- Chargers (7-7) vs Buccaneers (7-7) - One more loss may be enough to knock both these teams out of playoff contention. With all the contenders in the AFC, the Chargers have more to lose.
- Packers (12-2) vs Bears (4-10) - Not only do these hated rivals match-up in front of a national audience on Monday Night Football, but the Packers can clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a victory in Chicago.

I'm really enjoying this. You've inspired me to do my own. I feel you on those complaints too. Every damn game I'm in, if I'm up by three or seven and the CPU has the ball with a minute and a half or so left on the clock, they will be completely unstoppable going down the field. They could rush up the middle against a field goal block (as you mentioned) and just plow through the defense. But yeah, very nice job. Can't wait for the next update. I don't get why it hasn't been changed. The only games I've won with under 2 minutes are games that I've made a ridiculous defensive play myself. That is, a sack + hit stick that causes a fumble, or a USER Int. Yeah the CPU's QB's are all way too accurate, and my other huge problem is the Linebackers pick like every pass up the middle off, it's ridiculous. Great job with this though, really enjoyable. While not 100% realistic, that is pretty close to reality if you are playing football at the NFL level. However, there are a few ways you can remedy that. - Gun/4 WR sets - If you spread out the D, they obviously have less defenders. With the MLB, if you motion the running back out of the backfield and into a WR position, usually the MLB will trail him and you can hit your other WR over the middle.
- Substitutions - If I'm playing a really good MLB like Brian Urlacher, I'll usually get into a 4 WR set, but move Greg Jennings into the slot position. Naturally, Urlacher can't keep up with Jennings speed, so if you put him 1 on 1 with Brian he blows by him. You can do this with any WR that has the "speed" weapon.
- Timing - When it comes to passes over the middle, it's really about timing. You can't wait until you see the WR open, because that's too late and will result in an INT. You have to read what the safety and MLB are doing before you launch it. If you aren't great at QB, then use the pre-snap feature that shows the route. Say I have Jennings in a deep slant over the middle, and the orange guideline will tell me he will make his break at about the 40 yard line. Well, if you read the coverage and everything looks good, make the throw RIGHT before he breaks out of his cut. If he has tons of speed, you can even hit him in stride and break out for a huge gain/TD.
Okay that's my football lesson for the day. lol

Coming very soon. I've been extremely busy with work, so I haven't even touched Madden. However, I have updates for week 16 and 17 coming.
Then it's playoff time and the return of highlight videos!
