kongo has the strikers chance of catching brock early, but that will not happen. brock will not stand with kongo at all and take him down as fast as possible and use his weight advantage and wrestling to pound out kongo. hopefully at the next event brock will no longer suffer from severn syndrome and learn how to finish his opponent off.

I think Brock will end this early. He wanted to prove he could go 15 minutes in the last fight, he did that. If he lowers the intensity of his 2nd fight and heightens it from his 3rd for a perfect balance, he will be unstoppable.

Kongo ain't got no ground game - so if this fight does go ahead, it's going to suck for him.. Once Lesnar takes him down, that will be it..

Kongo has improved, but damn, if Lesnar gets him down it is over.

It's more of a "When" than "If" when it comes to Brock taking people down.
I truly think that there's not a heavyweight alive that Brock can't take down one way or another.

I hate it how everybody is saying he COMPLETELY DOMINATED Herrig. Well he did, but for sakes all he did was sit on him the whole match, WITH his back faced to him. Thats why choke-holds exist, Just wait till Brock fights somebody who is good, oh wait he already did, and lost.

Brock Lesnar destroyed Herring in EVERY aspect of MMA in that fight. A 240 lbs man (with 40+ fights under his belt) was tossed around like a rag doll, and had ZERO offense in a fight against a man that was in his 3rd MMA fight ever. He rushed him, he knocked him down with a straight right, he bum rushed him, and then while on the ground, he dominated each and every position. Brock then decided to pass guard with NO problem. I'm still among the many who feel Brock could have easily choked out Herring multiple times, but decided to prove to everyone that he could easily go 15 minutes and walk away without a scratch, and he did that. Lesnar DOMINATED a legit HW for 15 minutes. There's no way around it. No matter how biased you are how little you like him.

I agree with Jose "MVP" Reyes. And as for the Mir fight man that was total BS call. How is he going to pull Brock off Mir, raise Brocks hand then let the fight continue? I dont get it. Usually when the ref raises a fighters hand the fight is over. The ref made a bull crapcall.

Oh thank you, so your the one who dictates who has an opinion? AHA. Just because I dont have a little UFC signature and dont post here often doesnt mean I dont know about the UFC. Brock Lesnar wont make it far in the UFC, that is my OPINION. Douchebag.

Thank you for proving that you don't belong here. A. Heath Herring was a legit heavyweight, and a top 15 HW when Lesnar beat him. (and just came off a nice win over Kongo) B. What is your basis for the fact that Brock won't be successful? You're just going off the fact that you don't like him? An opinion is usually followed with reasons. You failed to mention those. C. Nice attempt at an insult. If you're going to take personal shots (and miss) just leave the MMA boards all together. We keep it civil here. Your kind is not wanted or needed.

He wont make it far because he is an olympic trained fighter. Not jujitsu, like many of the UFC fighters. And he has yet to prove he can adapt, maybe he can. But for now, he is just an olympic trained fighter. C. It was a word. Thank you for taking it so seriously. Your comeback wasnt so great either, (and miss)? ROFL, what is this? Grade 6?

You said Heath Herring is a nobdoy. When in reality, he's a legit HW, and at the time, was a top 15 HW. B. The best background to have going into MMA, is wrestling. If you're going to start from the ground up, the best experience to have, is amateur wrestling. Last time I checked, that's EXACTLY what Brock Lesnar has. Jiu-Jitsu is something is that taught, as is striking. Why do you think guys like Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Urijah Faber, Jon Fitch, etc are so successful? All were great college wrestlers. Add that to Brock's freakish strength (and the fact that he trains with one of the best cardio camps in MMA) and he's got the pedigree to be one of the best HW in the world, if he sticks to it and actually wants this. Brock Lesnar beat a top 15 HW, in his 3rd professional fight. You're saying he's not adapting? He's been training for 2+ years with MMAA. Therefore, he's not just an "olympic fighter." Seriously, watch MMA before you comment. C. I'm 6 because I'm trying to keep the stupid insults and trash off the MMA board? ...really?

I'm just waiting for him to fight maybe somebody in the top 5. He is just sooo overhpyed, and why not have him fight somebody in the top 5? If he is good enough it shouldnt be a problem. B. Jiu-Jitsu has alot to do with more of the holds, maybe thats just what I am looking for. I was the one promoting Lesnar being a intellectually- disabled person and not putting a choke hold on, so maybe its just what I like, ever think about that? He also does steroids, remember. And dont tell me to watch MMA before I come here, because I do. I might not study it as much but I know very much about it. Obviously you know more, but I really dont care about that. C. That doesnt matter, I wasnt looking for a fight anyways. The only reason I retaliated was because you were trying to look big and make me look like an idiot. And dont tell me your trying to stop fighting, because you just contridicted yourself.

...it was his 2nd fight in the UFC. He faced Frank Mir (who is now considered UFC's #1 contender) in his 2nd ever fight, first in the UFC. Then he beat someone who was regarded a top 15 HW in the world, and easily top 10 in the UFC. Not to mention, most of the heavyweights in the UFC were already contractually obligated to face someone else at that time. Lesnar was set to face Mark Coleman, the fight fell through, Herring took it. Not much you can do if you're Joel Silva.
I know what JJ is, but the BEST base to have going into MMA is a wrestling background. Now, not ALL great wrestlers make great MMA fighters, but a lot do, and it's always the easiest transition.
What you like and what happened are 2 different things. Tons of people hate guys that take it to the ground. A lot of people think great JJ guys are awful because they don't knock people out. That doesn't mean someone is a terrible fighter though. You can't call Paulo Filho a terrible fighter because he uses his amazing ground game to beat someone. You may not prefer it, but that doesn't mean he's not successful or a top MW.
Lesnar controlled EVERY aspect of that fight and dominated Heath Herring. Lesnar walked away without a scratch, while Herring walked away needing time off to heal some god awful wounds. (his destroyed face and ribs)
I wasn't trying to "make you look like an idiot." I was merely stating you lost any credibility when you said Heath Herring was a "nobody." And honestly...you did.

Submissions are better to me. C. Whatever, maybe I just used the wrong word. And by stating that how did you think I was going to feel? It wasnt going to make me agree with you...

Yeah - watching that fight, I got the feeling that Lesnar was basically toying with Herring - I think he could have slapped on a choke, and ended it, at any point he wanted..
