Just grabbed it last night and damn I suck.
Then again, it's been about 5 years since I've played, I suck at combos, hoping to get better.

I read this yesterday and then got distracted which caused me to forget to write my response. So as I told you, I didn't remember your writing too much and I don't care about anything previously that went on. To me this is a fresh character. I enjoyed this. Outside of the grammar issues that Mesh pointed, I don't have anything to nitpick in comparison to your previous work. This was lighter in tone which I didn't expect but after the dark aspect of my rp and Drakz's was kinda nice to see. I also liked the throw back style to the monologue where he is actually cutting a promo into a camera. So many people, myself included, just do monologues but it was nice to see something different. You have me curious to see where you take the character and how you continue to evolve as a writer. Good job and welcome back. Thanks so much Kyzer! I appreciate the kind words. |

So, in spite of my earlier comments, I was persuaded by the only parties here with any remaining persuasive influence over me to go back on my refusal to make good on the main event. I'd assured @ballparkb0b that I would, with the lone caveat being that I not receive writer's credit. Since the timeliness of the show has now come into question, and I have some degree of effect on that, I may as well cast that aside and address my end of things. I still intend to submit the work, but anyone banking on Saturday had best get a disclaimer now - if it hinges on me, that ain't happening. I'll spare you most of the details of my shoot gimmick, but to share that the last week of the month and the first week of the month basically afford me little to no time to goof off. Pair that with the fact that backstage, I've got a wife who's just gone back to school and a four year old to wrangle whilst trying to maintain some semblance of "a life", and it doesn't leave much time for match writing, which I've stated on numerous occasions to be my least favorite aspect of writing here. Additionally, and inexplicably, in the past six days or so, my passion for this place has taken a real death slide. All this is a long winded and only slightly snide way of saying "I'm doing the best I can". If Saturday is a deal breaker, someone else might wanna get on board. I have no preference one way or the other, as my efforts exist solely due to the last bastions of respect I've been able to maintain toward myself here. I throw myself at the will of the council. No you're fine dude. That was the last I had heard was Saturday. I can wait, I have nothing but time. Just was relaying what I had heard, so thanks for clearing it up. |

Some will bite though, watch out for those few Schneider has been a good boy since retiring. He won't bite much anymore. I can link to a lot of Devilkiller roleplays if you ever feel bad about yourself Thanks Phill. Not that the guy I look up too in RPing told me I suck. Time to take another 7 year hiatus. Maybe 20. Might shoot for 100. Who knows? But hey, on a serious note reading my first run of RP's would make you feel fantastic, because they were the absolute drizzling sh*ts. |

If you're wanting a shoot answer so you know, I can see why you're mad, but I can't see why you're that mad. People were taking it as it was, a joke. You were going berserk over it because it "destroyed" the character. I didn't read the RP you did that you referenced in the GD (or the RP itself I can't remember) but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's not always about who is behind it writing it. It's not always about politics. Sometimes it's about timing. Someone backed out, someone stepped up to write it, back when SuperBrawl would've been up a bit quicker, and that's that. So, in short, you don't actually know what got my goat. Unless you're hiding some real big secret that NOONE knows, then yeah I do. Everyone apparently bitched at you over doing the same thing a year ago. But when it's someone else's name value behind the character, you get mad. For what, because the name I'm referring to hasn't been around in forever and could write some damn good RP's but this Napoleon thing you hate? If you actually care about WFWF, please drop it and let bygones be bygones. |

UPDATE: Despite big roadblocks (Rich going down, the Billy Broom controversy) everything is going as planned. Once I get the last two matches and a few segments sent to me, it'll be good to go. The judging for matches is currently underway. Once that's completed, we wait on the remaining pieces needed to compete this puzzle. So many people to thank and so many new people are participating.
