Anyone wanna write commentary for the match I wrote? Originally, before his body decided to have a whole ass seizure, Rich was going to do it. Now I'm stuck with a pretty OK match with no commentary. Anyone? Send it my way. I THINK, I think, Shawn is doing it. I sent it his way, but ask him. |

I was SO ready to read some work of yours. Shawn tells me promising things. With that in mind, I'll disregard this one in particular. I want to see you when technology is actually cooperating with you. I'm glad you threw something up, even if everything was against you.

Yeah, but do all you guys have a name for your down periods? Mine's called Daniel Kirkbride Nope. I go full out with Devilkiller and Jayson. Have big plans for Jayson in the future if I don't burn out. Would love to write two RP's a show once I get there. I may toy with something to get creative juices flowing. |

I'm gonna be honest, my next RP is going to be absolute trash. Not because I usually have a low self esteem of myself, but because I don't want to do it. I haven't had a story arc, well, ever! And I haven't written more than one RP for about 4 or 5 years. But, gotta break the cycle, and eventually I'll get better with it. That was me when I first started writing for Mesh. Content and where to go. Once you get DevilKiller reestablished in the WFWF, get involved in some angles and such - it'll be much easier to write for DevilKiller and figure out where you want to go with him at that point. That's just me though. Exactly. This next one is going to be absolute snooze fest |

Thanks for replying with some advice! If I can ask, what would be a better way to write in third person? Well, instead of using her or she every time when writing for Mesh, I like to use nicknames, just to change it up. So for example, I'll be like: The Vanguard Knight realized that Anna Ahriman was a joke, thus she's going to win at SuperBrawl.Or, The blue haired pixie wanted a turkey sandwich but forgot she was vegan so she didn't get one.Stuff like that. I hope that helps! A lot less vague than the first post! Clears it up better! Yeah I get what you mean. I'm stuck in novel writing mode because that's all I've been good at for the last, what, 3 years or so? So with that said I'm used to that. It'll take another RP or two to break it, but I'll work on it more! |

I liked this! I'd have to go back and read your last piece here but it was nice seeing DevilKiller, the family man and doting father. If this was already established during your last run, I'm sorry. My only criticism would be your proper noun usage. There was a lot of DevilKiller does this and DevilKiller does that and as someone that was called out for that same exact reason in an earlier RP, I try to point it out to others so they don't make the same mistake as I did. All in all, welcome back to the WFWF and I, for one am glad to have a name from the past make their return. I really hope you stay a while  Looking forward to reading more! I’m having surgery Thursday - bowel resection and possible colostomy. Not gonna lie. I’m getting scared crapless now. WFWF will be on the backburner for 4 to 8 weeks. Sorry. You’ll have to go to hell without me. And I was really looking forward to that show. I'll man the ship while you recover. I got this. I have a plethora of help available to me soooooooo....we're good. Good luck to you in your surgery. Here's hoping you come out the other end  And I told Shawn, but if you need help, I'll do whatever I can to try to help. |

Nope, writing for SuperBrawl on my phone sucked. I'm much more comfortable writing on a laptop and/or computer. theicwguy I highly recommend you invest in a computer. Trust me, it'll make writing easier and less annoying than writing on your phone. To each their own. I can't type on computer well at all. Stupid school systems. |

I composed most of my peak Brennan run on my phone. It can be done. Always wanted to ask you about that. Do you use the Office app? Or just whatever brand notepad? Because I can't imagine doing either, but at least the Office app allows for more grammar and spell checks you might inadvertently miss typing a mile a minute. For me, iPhone user, I use the notepad that comes with it. Sometimes it's a bitch, but I like it. |

I literally had half my RP typed up last night and then when I got back to it wfigs refreshed lol. Don't compose your stuff in the browser. It never ends well. Can vouche for this. Did this once because I was stupid. Lost whole RP twice before I decided to just say screw it and used phone. Everyone talks highly of laptops or computers. I'll try it out this next one. |

I'm telling ya, phone's aren't that bad once you get used to typing out the code. I literally had half my RP typed up last night and then when I got back to it wfigs refreshed lol. Do you have a notes section on your phone? Type it up there, learn the basic codes, and find the color codes online. It'll help a lot with writing it. It takes forEVER, but it makes it smooth sailing. Finished mine in 2 days, then just kept editing it. Unfortunately you don't get the later luxury, but atleast you'll show |

F*ck dude, everyone posting great monologues, it seems like I'm literally copying and pasting different crap to other RP's. Rest assured I'm not. First, because you told me about it so I looked for my little "cameo", if you'd call it that. So thanks for the nod my way. I really enjoy this. I think your dialogue is amazing, BUT, don't get to cocky, it needs just a little fine tuning (like I, of all people, can give advice on dialogue) but otherwise dude the dialogue is fantastic. I'm trying to nit pick hard because there's less to actually nit pick. I like the story told from beginning to end, I really hoped to see a cameo from Sakabato. It pleased me, and it's metaphoric, literally passing the "torch" (or in this case, sword). I liked how this all played out, and I love the kind of mocking. I'm no behind the scenes guy, so take with the smallest grain of salt, but I could've used less jabs at Penny. I assume there's a feud brewing soon, but you went a bit overkill. Reminds me of the time I wrote the Billy Broom match for us, and I said "The f*cking janitor!" Atleast 20 times. Thank god Rich edited about half out. Yours wasn't as incessant like mine was, but it still was two times too many where I was like "Is Anna focused more on Mesh, or Penny? Is she counting her chickens before they hatch?" Other little things, two words not in right places that took me out of it, but dammit I nitpicked the whole time so let me say I really enjoyed this. It's a style I like, a style I typically write in, and it's just overall a great RP. Fantastic work Shawn, glad to see you stick around a while. Maybe you can go throughout Christmas. I hope so atleast. Another home run. Both of you guys put up home runs. It's a toss up. There's backstory to the Penny deal. You've read Mesh's RP, and now mine. The jabs at Penny are because they live together, but can't stand one another unless the going gets tough. Mesh mentioned in their RP the "extended McGurk family" and I inadvertently did the same, mainly because of how important it is for the women wrestlers to keep a connection since the female characters are much smaller in numbers. I may feud with Penny some day, but they're just shots for the sake of Anna being a bit of a bratty little girl sometimes, which I fleshed out a bit. Also, the transferance of Sakabato to Anna was a double meaning. One, yes. Torch passed. But it was also a way for Anna to say goodbye to her dad, because she's chosen her own life as an adult. And that's with the McGurk's. I wrote Sam and Cam as farewells, because I am wiping the slate relatively clean for Anna. I can't rely on Sam and Cam every RP. I have to start making new surroundings for her, and that was my way of getting the ball rolling. Scar isn't going anywhere, same with Penny and the rest of that clan because that's her home now. But aside from Aaron, and the clan, it's going to be a relatively whole new world for Anna, making it on her own. It allows me to come up with new characters and with new characters come fresh ideas. That's why Anna is crying at the end. Now that she's said her goodbyes to most of her "family" from growing up...what's going to happen when she crashes and burns the first time. Who's going to help pick her up? All she has is now is Sakabato, Aaron, and the support of Scarlett Quinn. I have a whole new story to tell, but I had to end my loose ends. I'm glad you enjoyed it though. Makes me feel good to see a positive review when I've basically been dead for two years or something of the sort I gotcha my man. I understood completely the double meaning, but the untold story, to me is what stands out for NOW. In the future the literal meaning will come to fruition and stick in people's minds when Anna needs help, without her dad in sight. Yeah it's a positive review. I enjoy it A LOT. |
