Awesome! Love hearing this. Nice to know there's some great collectors out there willing to help other collectors out.

Thanks for the honest feedback on this figure. Especially because you're a Sting fan. It's so hard to be looking forward to a figure of your all-time favorite wrestler and have it be a let down or not quite live up to what you were hoping for. I haven't gotten this figure yet, but I am looking forward to it. Strangely, even though I'm mostly an elite collector, I'm more excited about the basic Sting than I am the GAB Sting.
Disappointed to hear that the jacket was hard to take off. you're not the only one saying that. I was hoping it was the same soft plastic that the Nasty Boys jackets were made of, but I assuming now it's the harder plastic?

I never once saw E40 in stores. I did see some E41 at TRU the other day. Didn't even realize E40 got skipped because I pre-ordered from RSC.
Getting harder to decide to wait for the hunt or pay a little extra and guarantee getting what you want from RSC.

Didn't he fight Tantanka at XIX? That was Wrestlemania IX.

I know sometimes Mattel likes to give us attires for both wrestlers in specific matches. We got the duster DM Warrior and the DM Savage from Wrestlemania 7 to go together. And, Legends Rude and HOF Warrior from Summer Slam 1990. Since the release of the RSC Y2J, it had me thinking that it's an easy step for Mattel to take the zebra print Network Spotlight HBK, change the zebra trunks to red, swap the head, give us entrance gear, and we have a WM XIX HBK. Do you think this could be coming down the line? Also, what other complete match attires have we gotten?

Lol nude Warrior would be pretty damn funny. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. That Macho would be a thing of beauty if given the proper budget. Begs the question, who wore the nude suit better? Ultimate Warrior or Giant Gonzales? How's that for a two-pack?

Was it another color scheme? Would have preferred those attires No thanks. Nude Warrior will not be part of my collection.

I found him today with the laces and passed, but I'm determined to grab him with the new boots. Figure looks much better in person.

I love tag teams, but this one would be an easy pass for me.
I'd rather have the Killer Bees, The Young Stallions, Orient Express, Conquistadors, the Moondogs, Barry O & Barry Horowitz, a two-pack of Iron Mike Sharpe and a second Iron Mike Sharpe, and Dusty Wolfe and Mario Mancini.

Does he need to come with a "shirt" since he never takes it off? Can he have a painted torso shirt instead? I like this idea. They were able to custom sculpt the trunks on his E38 figure so having a painted torso and sculpted shoulder tassels could work well.

With the recent images of the DM Ultimate Maniacs Warrior, it has me wondering if the rumored upcoming Ultimate Maniacs Savage will come with his hat, glasses, jacket, and shirt. Knowing that "Mean" Gene is coming out allows us to recreate this interview. It would be great if the Ultimate Maniacs Savage was a DM with all the gear: The only match I believe the Ultimate Maniacs had was against Money Inc. and Savage didn't wear his hat, glasses, or jacket down to the ring. Instead he ran out with the Warrior ready to fight wearing just his wrestling gear. Will he simply come with the shirt and the one white knee pad? The one white knee pad looks strange, but do you think Mattel will keep this detail? Knowing they sometimes leave kneepads off (HBK) has me wondering. Perhaps we'll get a mix of both and he'll come with a shirt, glasses, hat, and knee pad?

This is a great question and shows that Mattel nailed it on both of these figures. I thought I could answer this easily but I can't. They're both great.
So, I guess you can't wrong either way!

I found him the other day at TRU and passed. It's a good figure and the head scan is better in person than in photos. But, it wasn't enough to make me pull the trigger and get it. I do wish the figure would have had knee pads with him as I think it would have added to the look.
I love the RSC Exclusive HBK as well as the WM30 HBK, so having those in my collection are enough.

This is an interesting topic. It's strange to look back and think that at some point, we were able to get all of these wrestlers that have been mentioned:
- Steiner Bros (Hasbro) - Giant Gonzales (Hasbro and Jakks) - Cornett (Jakks) - Owen (Hasbro and Jakks) - Chyna (Jakks) - Mountie (Hasbro and Jakks) - Benoit (Jakks) - Nailz (Hasbro) - Gangrel (Jakks) - Sunny (Jakks) - Marc Mero (Jakks) - Sable (Jakks) - Jeff Jarret (Jakks) - Billy Jack Haynes (LJN)
I know these were made at the height of these wrestlers being employed with the WWE. But, it makes me wonder who we've gotten from Mattel that we'll never see again either from them or another company. And, it's interesting to think about the many reasons why these figures may never see the light of day.

Awesome stuff! Love that you put the Rick Rude lips on his image. I can hear Jesse now, "Rude giving it to Chico Santana!"
