But what does it really matter? Every line and name of that line is simply a way for Mattel to market and sell their product to make money. And you, as the consumer, choose to either buy said product or not. That's the be-all, end-all of it. Comments like yours make coming to this board incredibly frustrating at times. Enjoy the figures you like, and ignore the ones you don't. And to address a previous comment, just like there are people like you who prefer the entertainment aspect over the in-ring, there are people like me who wake up to watch Night 4 of the G1 Climax. There is room and toys enough for both of us. When I first heard about the Epic Moments line, I got really excited thinking of the great moments throughout WWE history that could be memorialized in figure form. The modern equivalent of the Job Squad was not exactly what I had in mind -- infact it wasn't even in the top 1000. So yes I have every reason to be upset, especially when the tide is overwhelmingly turning towards one type of fan and if I don't speak up Mattel will think that's all people want. The Undisputed Era, one of NXT's most over acts, winners of the first ever War Games Match in WWE History, multi-time Tag Champs & Adam Cole being the first ever NXT North American Champion... That's equal to The Job Squad? Dude, if you don't like modern Pro Wrestling & want to live in the past... More power to you! No one will stop you from doing that... But please shut the up & accept the fact that there are people that live in the present and are fans of NXT. Btw. Mattel produces Elite figures of The Red Rooster, Isaac Yankeem, Shark, The Shockmaster etc. etc. Stop acting as if they are turning against fans like you, when some of the most obscure characters of the past get Elite figures, while a bunch of "current" Wrestlers never even got Elite figures during the last 8 years. Just because they release a 3 Pack of 3 guys you don't like, under a certain Tag Line, doesn't mean you have to act like a crybaby whos candy has been stolen.

War Games was pretty epic. The first time the match took place at a WWE event and it delivered. In name only, by no means did that match capture the essence of the old War Games. It was a very good cage match, but it wasn’t “War Games” to me. It was more "War Games" than anything WCW did during their dying days. And what essence are you talking about? It didn't have a roof & had the 1998-Esque Line Up of 3 Vs. 3 Vs. 3 instead of the usual 4 Vs. 4.

Undisputed Era will be the first epic moments set I pick up. I do appreciate that Bill is a wrestling nerd like the rest of us as he makes stuff like this happen fairly quickly. "Wrestling nerd" and smart mark aren't necessarily the same thing. Not everyone who loves wrestling cares about 5'10" guys doing flippy moves--theres more to the artform then that, a lot more infact. Not only is Undisputed Era an embarassingly bad choice for Epic Moments (seriously what did they do that was epic? have "good matches"? who cares?) but it shows that MDT is getting irritatingly smarky for my tastes, and I'm sure many others as well. Right! And you clearly have no idea about those things, if you reduce The Undisputed Era on being "5'10 guys doing flippy moves", when 2 of TUE's Members are submission & striking specialists and Adam Cole barely does "flippy moves". They might pull off a Suidice Dive here and there, but same can be said about guys twice their size & weight. And "Epic Moments" is just a name, like "Defining Moments" or "Entrance Greats". As if Wrestlemania 15, was such a "Defining Moment" for The Undertaker or as if Kurt Angle is known for an amazing and noteworthy "Entrance" like Bobby Roode, Finn Balor, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker etc. etc. And who cares? A lot of people, just because you don't care, doesn't mean no one cares! So get off your high horse and deal with it. And within NXT the Undisputed Era is a big deal! They won the first ever War Games Match in WWE History & Adam Cole became the first ever NXT North American Champion, and those have been very important or "epic" moments for NXT! It doesn't matter what a random indivual thinks about it. And let's be honest. The next "Epic Moments" Set will be the Shield Reunion from last year, so they aren't setting the bar very high, to begin with. Compared to that, TUE did way more noteworthy things than The Shield in 2017. And I don't even have a problem with that set, it makes perfect sense for Mattel to make such a set, and same can be said about one of NXT's most over Groups. No matter what some Anti-Smarks think about it.

New silhouette claiming “best for last”. Kinda looks like Poppa Pump with the chainmail headdress but that’s probably wishful thinking. That's Showcase Collector's standard background.

Question for Matt Hardy:
What are your thoughts on a "Final Deletion"-esque Match with "Joker" Sting. Would you be interested in doing that? Did you ever think about doing that?
What are some characters past or present you would've liked to work with, within the "Woken Universe".
Questions for Bill:
Will the Legends "Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman ever get rereleased?
Why did Mattel never release a figure of Aksana? Did you ever work on one?
What are the chances of Hideo Itami & Kassius Ohno elites?
Will there ever be figures of WWE Hall Of Famers like Tatsumi Fujinami, Stan Hansen, The Fabulous Freebirds, The Rock 'n' Roll Express, Ivory, Jacqueline, Antonio Inoki, Jeff Jarrett, Abdullah The Butcher and Larry Zbyszko(as a single figure)?
Since you're interested in designing figures of Non-WWE Talent, could Mattel sign a deal with other promotions, or does their deal with WWE prevent them from doing that?
Are there any figures you worked on, which couldn't get released? If so, which would they be & why did they never get released? Outside of the ones, people know of already.
What are the chances of Mattel releasing figures "Celebrity" Hall Of Famers, like Mike Tyson or Arnold Schwarzenegger?
Before he passed away, did you ever think about making a "Zombie" Vader Figure, feat. a popped out eye?

Those aren’t the right boots though, he had the dark burgundy boots. Either way $16 is a steal for a first year figure Not only that, but the boots on it now look like they are on the incorrect feet. Well they aren't on the incorrect feet.
