Ball Pits, but for adults. There is just something whimsical about them. There are ball pit bars here in the UK. One recently opened in my home town but bars aren't my thing, even though they do look fun. ![](https://www.salonprivemag.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Banner-compressed-4-1200x630.jpg) I don't do bars either, but that looks super fun. It is nice to see people reviving things and adapting them so we can keep enjoying them.

I think "Monster Jam" is still on tv. It used to be fairly popular, and I think, "Grave Digger" still is.

More interested in seeing where the Briscoes land. A lot of money on the table for them at a lot of places. Same here. Selfishly, I'd like to see Dem Boys land somewhere like AEW or WWE just to get good figures of them. The Briscoes in AEW would be awesome, lots of great teams for them to work with there. Their current GCW run will be fun I think. They have so much talent and charisma, and so many landing spots, part of me wants to see them in Japan or Mexico for awhile before hitting AEW. I suspect maybe NWA, or even MLW might be a shot for awhile.

I am almost finished watching ep 1 of the new xpw tv. There is some good and some bad.
Good:The chemistry between RB and Kleinrock & Kloss is still there. The odd captivating sense of the tv narrative style is still there, including some of the sound effects of yesteryear. And as bad as he is as a person, Rob Black still has "something"; I don't know if it is the "it," or what, but it is there as a character. He didn't change much at all, for what it is worth.
Bad: The Star Wars, opening, is not good. The disrespect of the deceased wrestlers of XPW. That is going to rub a lot of people wrong, even if it is Rob's "character". The Black Army are the good guys now....what? I haven't seen any wrestlers from the OG willing to be apart of it. RB keeps taking shots at the other XPW revivals/reunions, that were well received and enjoyed by the fans and og wrestlers. Seems to be East Coast based, but still doing West Coast shows....it looses charm without California.
We shall see how this all unfolds. I will be watching, hopefully weekly. I enjoyed XPW back in the day, unashamedly, and maybe it is nostalgia, but this has a little spark. Plus, given the recent goings on with closure of ROH, it may help get some people paid, even though it is by RB. If he got his act together, and I mean, he does feature his child, so maybe, just maybe, this could be something, though there is a lot that just cannot be forgotten.

The KISS Demon came back at Impact's Bound for Glory, and he was at recent tv tapings. Incredibly unpopular opinion, but he is/was one of my favorite wrestlers. I am a KISS fan, and it made for a really good wrestling gimmick. Hopefully he is sticking around. Pipedream: I would love for him to finally become a champion. Did he get to do the coffin entrance? Man I loved that.

I hope they come back in some form or fashion, even if it is just for PWG-esque PPVs with no tv show. It sucks for all the contracted talent, and boy they have some amazing guys and gals there, but maybe the indie scene could help fill gaps? I know the big 4 cannot house everyone. Cool to see Briscoes in GCW at the moment. I suspect Danhausen, Jay Lethal, PCO, and maybe Bennett will go to the big guys. I expect lucha talent to go back to CMLL or AAA. Hope to see Flip Gordon, Ferrara, and many others do jaunts in Beyond, Lucha Vavoom, etc.

Wazzup Wfigs. Is there something you love still, but has fallen out of style, and wish it was still in? Be it that people just make it harder to find said stuff, or that you could be mocked for repping it, or saying it (stuff is still dope for sure)? I am talking the gamut from bell bottoms to propeller hats, yoyos to unicycles, or "Wazzup?" to "da bomb". Anything and everything that you still do, love, or want to be mainstream again. Rock a beeper....cool. Jnco elephant ears...fresh. Walk the dog with a yoyo in the park....sweet.
Even if you are just bummed that adults aren't supposed to enjoy something considered for kids, let it be known.
For me, I still like swinging on swingsets, listening to my cd/tape boombox, repping Jncos, visiting arcades in malls, and talking about "back in my day". I keep it straight 90s. Whoop Whoop.
Hope yall enjoy this nostalgia trip.
We are taking it back.

^^Wardlow had a tryout and didn't get picked, and was very critical of the process in an interview. Ogogo could go, though he did allegedly turn them down to choose AEW. Comorato was an ex-PC signing for AEW, so he got fired from WWE. Likewise, Deeb got fired from WWE and they only wanted her as a coach. Tessa is not WWE. She signed a contract to be the figurehead female wrestler for WOW, which is relaunching with AJ Lee as a producer and commentator. I didn't know all that. Though it seems my post turned to spoiled milk at light speed, I will say that WWE tends to retry with folks when they are established elsewhere, or seasoned, if you will, which could bypass some of the earlier issues. Not saying that any of this will happen, just my opinion of whom they would like to have and could try for.

Hobbs, Brian Cage, Wardlow, Christian Cage, Matt Hardy, and maybe Ogogo and Comorato. Basically the big guy, and ones wanting a last dance. I could see MJF and Starks wanting to try their hands there, due to the mic work, but we sure don't want to lose any of these guys.
For females, maybe Deeb. She is so technical that she may want a shot at Charlotte, or Tessa (rumored).

I am marking out for the fact that "The Demon" Dale Torborg showed up at BFG. I am wondering if they are going to do the fun entrants yearly, like Royal Rumble does.

Did anyone else watch this? What did yall think of it? Were you fans of XPW before this? How do you feel about them after the show?
I am an XPW fan from way back, and while it did an ok job of explaining the mess that is Rob Black (there's a bit more to that dude), and gave a more in depth version of The Messiah incident, it fell way short of all that was XPW. It didn't give many props at all, which at least the other episodes try to do a bit. For some of us fans, as ECW folded, XPW was a magical place. It deserved better, which could of put more eyes on their fantastic talent. Anyone interested in more, watch the Wrestling Chatter Youtube post show from Kloss.
Who am I?!?!

What is interesting is to realize just how many languages you know a word or 2 in. Just from all the entertainment we consume, I can bet you know a word or 2 in japanese, chinese, spanish, french, italian, hindi, russian, arabic, and sign language. We are collectively really bright.

He is trying to elevate talent. He has a real positive outlook this time around, and his matches, the best I can tell, is to shine eyes on the people he thinks are stars. I mean, Daniel Garcia I thought was odd, but he seems to be pretty highly regarded. The man had a match with MiSu. Punk may not be able to be that full timer with non stop cardio anymore, so he is that Silent Bob type, when he "speaks" it means something.

I was bummed that FTR was under the masks. I like them, and they should have titles, but man, what a missed opportunity to showcase some luchadores. Psycho Clown is set to come to the U.S., Cibernetico and Charly Manson are independent right now, Chessman is AAA, etc. How could you not take the time to expose the general wrestling fan to them. We coulda had Jindrak!

That is amazing. Part of me wonders if a tieras arm drag could be done out of that f5 by a smaller luchador to set up a 619 or something.....

A band that I would have to pick is a death metal band from the UK called Ten Masked Men. It's a death metal band that covers pop songs. As stated in the band's name, there are ten members in the band and they all wear some sort of ski mask. Ten Masked Men was never signed to a major record label, and they mostly play at underground metal clubs in the UK. They cover pop songs in Death Metal perfectly. They know how to turn an iconic pop song into a melodic death metal song. Ten Masked Men covers a wide range of artists such as Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Frank Sinatra, Cab Calloway, The Village People. A staple on all of their albums and EP's is a cover of a James Bond theme. They don't release new albums that often but they really should be taken seriously as a band. They should be signed to some sort of metal record label. What Ten Masked Men does is an art form. I live in the USA, and the only reason I know of this band is because a friend of mine showed me YouTube videos of their songs. I haven't seen my friend in years but I thank him for showing me those videos during my computer class at college. What kind of station would be best to break them into a bigger audience? Given it is death metal covering pop, maybe a station that covers various genres of current music?
