They’ve always had a loose interpretation of “defining moments” so I would just like to see:
Warrior: WCW debut Hogan: Nitro debut Undertaker: ABA debut Andre the Giant: WM1

Didn’t Balor do a Judgment Day themed Demon sometime this year? Mania, perhaps? Gotta think that’s coming soon to the UE line.

It was a title they made clear had no significance. And the crowd was chanting for Piper throughout the match which made it clear no one cared for Virgil. But he did do something that no one else did, so that has to count for something... I remember thinking it wasn’t that big of a deal at the time because of how they made sure you knew how insignificant the million dollar belt was at that point. And I know the intent was for Piper to give him the rub but it ended up backfiring as Roddy stole the spotlight and Virgil looked weak with his “little engine that could” image. So he got a W over DiBiase and won the belt, I’ll give you that, but he dropped it back a couple months later and didn’t do anything since.

After watching all the episodes of All Star Wrestling available on the network, I’ve gotten a much healthier appreciation of WWF pre-1984. I’d love to see these: King Kong Mosca Ted DiBiase (WWF North American champ) Pat Patterson (IC champ) Pedro Morales (with World, IC and Tag belts) Superstar Billy Graham Ernie Ladd Ivan Putski Ivan Koloff Bob Backlund Stan Stasiak Dusty Rhodes The Grand Wizard Dino Bravo (WWF Canadian champ) Tony Garea Mr. Fuji
Mr. Fuji is definitely needed. Not only as a wrestler, but as a manager as well. If we can get a Mr. Fuji figure as a wrestler, I hope we can get a Prof. Tanaka and Mr. Saito someday as well. Ivan Putski is also an interesting choice. Fuji is someone they can knock out in two releases too. Tuxedo with alternate eye paint head. Wrestling attire underneath Japanese robe and alternate younger head with hair.

I passed on Virgil for that reason. Have M$M version and a Vincent. Didn’t need to spend that much for someone who accomplished nothing during his WWF face runUm, he beat the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase for the Million $ Championship, that's a pretty big accomplishment. No one else ever did that... It was a title they made clear had no significance. And the crowd was chanting for Piper throughout the match which made it clear no one cared for Virgil.

Probably their best baf set they've done. Commissioner HBK I don’t think can be topped. King Harley, KOTR 96 Jake and Austin, and WM3 Steamboat were all top tier figs. WM BAF Mean Gene is up there too with WMX8 Hogan and Rock, and WM6 Savage and Dusty.

IDK what people didn’t like. Seemed like it had a little something for everyone.
Modern collectors are getting a UE Cody. UE Asuka shown off which looks amazing. Elites of Cody, Logan, Dom, Dom’s girlfriend, that tag team of the androgynous guys, Undertaker with his braided ponytail and his new hat with bandana combo.
Classic collectors are getting that X-Pac we’ve been wanting in elite form and an updated USA Luger. 3 faces of Foley packaging looks amazing. The UE tag team may not be the Steiners we were hoping for but let’s not pretend that Outsiders haven’t been on towards the top of most our lists for a long time and these look great.

The rings aren’t highly sought after. It’s been proven time and again that this is a figure driven collector community. So in order to drive sales for the more niche higher priced products it needs to be packed with a desirable figure. But what's puzzling is that the ring mould was paid for by the customers, so why are they continuing to push the rings despite the fact that nobody seems to want them? Wouldn’t it be smarter for them to release the figure as is and ditch the ring? I can almost guarantee it would’ve sold out by now if they had done that. Am I missing something here? I wouldn’t say no one wants them. Raw sold out on RSC and I’m sure it wasn’t solely for Kane. Plus there was clearly a plan to build a whole Monday Night War setup over the course of 2-3 years starting with the Raw ring, the Nitro stage, Nitro ring, and Raw stage. Plus as Steve has explained they don’t have enough rings out there to do add ons. The plan is to eventually just do skirts and ropes and cages but not until there’s enough people who own this scale of a ring to justify going into production.

I don't recall who said it, maybe it was Kyle Peterson or Alex West, but someone speculated it was Larry Zbyszko and that makes a lot of sense as well...I would rather it be Pedro, Koloff, or a new 70s Billy Graham but I am looking forward to any figures from this era! WWWF Zbyszko doesn’t make much sense as that’s a serious deep cut that hardly anyone is familiar with. Especially when there are other looks they could do that are easily recognizable like Dangerous Alliance or Nitro Era commentator/occasional wrestler. *Unless maybe they do DA with alt head and plain black or red trunks as a chase.

See I have never remembered a RSF where they had the whole “won show anything we don’t carry” rule. Oh well. Looks like the last couple years they haven’t shown anyone else’s but since they’ve gone completely streaming it’s been a much smaller set of reveals as well. But as far back as I can remember they’ve always shown exclusives from other retailers with the Mattel line.

There's still a mystery figure in Legends 22, right? The one with The Sultan? That combined with the 'coming soon' nature of the announcement makes me wonder if we'll see it there. I hope it's Buddy Rogers. Wasn’t it said to be The Undertaker? When would they have said that? I only know of Sultan, Capt Lou, and Ichiban (Chase).

The only issue with selling figures with a ring to get people to buy the ring....is you're gonna get a lot of people who don't buy either and then it can trickle down from there. I'd like to have the inverted color Kane ultimate but I have no desire or need for the raw ring. On top of that, since it's a glaring omission...I won't be buying any more Kane figures either cause I no longer "need" to have all the looks. So you could have had me for $30-$40...but now you have me for $0 That’s exactly my point. If the ring is as sought after as many on here seem to infer, then why not release the figure separately for RRP, then also release the ring with the figure in a combo pack for a bit cheaper. You’ll get more people giving you money. The rings aren’t highly sought after. It’s been proven time and again that this is a figure driven collector community. So in order to drive sales for the more niche higher priced products it needs to be packed with a desirable figure.

That’s kinda been their thing for a while now. People were forced to purchase the Main Event Raw ring for a FTITL Goldberg. Want a new WWE champ Jinder? We’ll gotta buy the ME SDL ring. Help us fund a new ring and you’ll get Diesel. Can’t have this Kane unless you buy a Raw UE ring. And they’re not the only ones to do it. Jazwares have locked a ref, Sting, and Omega to their scale rings as well. difference being most of those were obtainable the only other way to get Bischoff is the non existent Ruthless Aggression figure They didn’t release another Goldberg figure for like two years. There may have been a basic updated Jinder but they didn’t do another elite for a while and that was in a hard to find Royal Rumble Target exclusive wave.

Those extra Balor heads will be useful to everyone who have been begging for generic referees. Just slap one of those on the SS BAF ref body. Doesn’t get anymore generic than that.

I’ll send you the shirt and one of the extra heads whenever I find it in my area. Surprisingly the Superstars Piper is one of the only two Walmart preorders out of at least 30 preorders I have made since 2019/2020 that didn’t get canceled. Yeah I canceled Piper when I found in store but Hogan from the same order shipped. I’ve been having luck with Walmart lately with the exception of Lou getting pushed to Feb.
