Where did you find Macho Man? Can't find it listed anywhere. Ended up buying Series 4, 5 and 6 on Ebay last week, less Macho Man. I got macho man on ringside on the first day they had him. It was the same with Goldberg back in November, though. Give it a month, and there will be 5 for each living human on earth.

The Diesel hasbro had planned used old parts and it sucked. It just used a Papa Shango body, which has tights under boots rather than what Diesel actually wore. I actually made customs of these Diesels. One with shades and one without. But I'm with you on the pants thing.

I'm meeting Kevin Nash at his VIP SummerSlam party on August 19th. Is there anything I could bring up to him about his figure snubs? Kind of a dumb question, but would asking the man himself make any difference on any level? I talked to ActionFigureAttack at Axxess and brought up Diesel. Mattel is very much aware for the demand of Diesel in the Retro line but he said they wanted to do him right...not re-use an Ambrose body for example. He pretty much promised we will get one at some point. Now, I could live with that. As long as they dont unforseeably have to axe the line before this happens, I have the patience of a saint. Just give me a Diesel with quads of gold.

love the customs mate! do you sand em off first and use primer? Usually, yeah. I go really fine on the sand paper and do my best to not leave an even surface before applying primer, because everything after a bad sanding will show. At the end, I give the paint job an entire week to dry before applying a semi gloss lacquer finish to protect the paint and give the figure a nice, legit look. I haven't done it to the Hulk yet. Im trying to figure out the best way to smooth out his bandana. Looks too rough and its driving me nuts.

I have to smooth out the paint job on Hogan here and there, and use a good sealant, but we're almost there.

Anyone think they are making an Iron Sheik because they already have the mold they need (Xavier Woods figure wears the same kind of boots)? Right after reading your post, I turned to look at my Xavier in the glass cabinet and I hope they dont use the rest of the mold. Sheiky Baby did not have those abs lol.

I can't remember the first specifically because of my young age, and because my mom actually bought it for me. But it was the original He-Man and Skeletor from the 80's "Masters of the Universe" line.
The final purchase was from April. WWE Mattel Retro AJ Styles and a Hot Wheels car.

Petition!??!!? I'd be willing to donate my left bollock for Diesel Retro! And since almost everyone wants him in his original Diesel look, when we do get him it will be grey haired, bearded NWO Kevin Nash from WrestleMania 31. As long as Hasbro/Mattel is around to fumble Diesels, the Mannix line will never rest in peace!

Is there a Diesel petition we could e-sign and actually send to a living human being from Mattel that would think, "Oh boy, there might be money in this Nash kid." ?? (Lol)

Feel exactly the same. Don't care about chaps HBK, or modern Jericho. Goldberg at least doesn't look too different from his mid 90's run aside the grey hair. I got so excited when I first heard of this line and got hopes way up, just to see it nose-dive after the 2nd wave. Maybe this is a Doc Brown/BTTF3 deal...maybe we are just meant to go back to right the wrong and get Diesel, then when we get back home we destroy the time machine. "It has caused nothing but...disaster." BTTF is my favorite movie. Thanks for combining Retros and BTTF. Made my day. [/quote] I could see the aftermath of the train smashing the Delorean on the tracks. Instead of Marty picking up the fading out flux capacitor, he grabs Diesel lol

I look at legends vs non legends. Out of the 32 confirmed Retros, I count 17 legends out of 32. I’ll take that ratio going forward without question. My 16 legends are Brock, Cena, Taker, Warrior, all 6 in series 2, Goldberg, Flair, Sting Wolfpack, Jericho, Angle, Savage and Michaels. 10 of those 17 were in the first two series though - so that leaves 7 legends across five waves... 1 of them (Sting) is a repaint and 3 of them (Goldberg, Jericho and HBK) are all modern versions. Sorry if it sounds so negative... I'm just disappointed with the way this line has turned out after the (great) first two series. Feel exactly the same. Don't care about chaps HBK, or modern Jericho. Goldberg at least doesn't look too different from his mid 90's run aside the grey hair. What/who is the market for these Retro figures though? Mattel knows that there's a fanbase of older fans and Hasbro collectors who like them... are they popular to the kids of today though? Will kids (and parents) really want Retro figures of the current roster, when cheaper, better looking Basics are available? I like that idea - or 6 figures per wave (like the first two series) and have 4 current, 2 legends... maybe even have the legends on a different color card-back to the others too(?). Series 2 is definitely my favorite but I think my 2nd favorite is going to be series 7 and I haven’t even see the figures yet. As a Hasbro collector, Jericho and Angle are must have figured no matter the era. I won’t know how I feel about Shawn until I see him though. Series one was pretty cool but the Warrior was a waste, same colors as Hasbro 1. Agreed on your last sentence. I believe, if you can't do better than what you are trying to replicate, dont do it. I'd gladly take a blue/white WM4 or orange/yellow/black WM5 just for originality.

The repaints for Cena, Taker & Rock were cancelled. Given they're top talent, there's a chance they could pop up again down the road. Any updates for Orton or Kalisto? Those two were listed for pre-order by Amazon. Likewise, is it safe to assume Big Cass could still be an option without Enzo? My Amazon preorder from Feb still shows Orton on an October release. So who knows..
