I'd recommend the IDW Ghostbusters comic series. They take place in the unspecified mid-to-late 90s, leaving off from the events of the Ghostbusters video game (released in 2009 - set in 1991). If you're afraid these will ruin the Ghostbusters you remember, don't be. The characters are assumed to be the same versions from the movies, with the same wit and humor. Tons of Easter eggs on every page for the die-hard Ghostheads like me. Below is the order in which to read, if you want to start from the beginning... www.idwpublishing.com/ghostbusters-2016-reading-guide/

Just want to share my two favorite promos he did...
When I first saw this, I couldn't help thinking: "What year is this?"
Larry King's wife was an actress, who in 1986, played the cable installer on the first episode of "It's Garry Shandling's Show". To see she and Bryan working together was also pretty surreal.

I didn't know Barney Hefner ever wrestled in WCW.

I can't wait to read how the WrestleMania 11 card will shape up. 1995 is off to a great start. Looking forward to Macho-Bigelow, Martel-Lee, Steiners, and more. Keep up the great work!

I was pleasantly surprised to see Public Enemy beat the Steiners, as thy were favorites of mine.
Wasn't surprising at all, on the other hand, to see Austin fall under Ted DiBiase's wing as the Million $ Champ. I just hope he's not renamed "Ringmaster" lol.
Nice to see Vader retain. Glad to see you're not bouncing the title around. Vader-Bret should be good.
Can't wait for Rumble 1996. Thanks!

Like one of the above posters said, I've had great encounters with wrestlers, because I'm too shy to be a pain in the butt. A few meets that stand out...

I can't help but feel you provided no real experience to us from being there, other than you enjoyed it? I'm glad you enjoyed it? I'm sure it was awesome to see live, and hopefully they can keep this up for as long as possible. I'm sorry if it wasn't enough of a story for you. I was only trying to convey that it felt pretty damn special to be present for a rare first-ever match (including a guy I never thought would work for the company), when I could've just as easily had sat through three hours of stale story lines and boring bouts.

None taken really. I've been to some dud shows in the past, but the live factor always made up for it. I've been in person for special moments (last live WWE matches for Hulk and also Flair; Angle-Benoit, Rumble 03), but not all have been blow away. Again, seeing shows live is special in itself. Angle/Benoit was heaps better than Styles/Jericho. Which I don't think last night's match was supposed to be two guys giving everything they have. Hence AJ no hitting either finisher of his to win. I've seen some great matches live, but they haven't been WWE matches. Those shows are usually garbage. The last two WWE shows I attended were the 2008 Slammy Awards RAW and the RAW in Philly where the Nexus attack Ricky Steamboat. This was a 2-hour RAW in June of 2010, featuring less than 30 minutes of actual wrestling. If I remember well, the first match never even started. I swore then, that it'd take a LOT to get me back to live WWE event again. I wasn't saying Angle-Benoit was by any means less than Styles-Jericho. However, Angle-Benoit will be tarnished for me, only because I can't bring myself to watch it again, for obvious reasons. Just a me thing.

If that was the best match you've seen in person then I kinda feel bad for you no offense lol. I mean it was a really cool moment, but the match sucked. Mostly because of Jericho. Of course being there live makes everything at least a little better, and that's awesome that you got to see AJ None taken really. I've been to some dud shows in the past, but the live factor always made up for it. That's awesome! I wanted to go, but opted out. I'm glad you enjoyed it. How was the rest of the show? It was a pretty good RAW to see live, imo. Oh, I was listening to the radio on Sirius XM and the Wrestling Show had a caller say that before the show there were massive "Roman sucks" chants. Is this true? Anyway, glad you enjoyed the show! You got to see a good one. It was. Really, top to bottom it was an awesome show. And yes, lots of Roman Sucks chants, with kids shouting back that he doesn't. Rock really did derail his own promo to say hello to the cosplayers. After the Wyatt-Kane match, they were escorted to our side of the arena, because they refused to heed warnings. The New Day-Rock duel promo was gold. One minute, my fiancee was looking at me with disbelief over the "Llama penis" chant, but the next minute, she was legit doubled over in laughter over the 'Incredible Hulk & Urkel' insult.

My future in laws gave me loge level tickets to last night's RAW episode, and my fiance graciously went with me. Now, when they bought the tickets, nobody had any clue at that point that AJ was even talking to WWE. Recently, of course, rumors started to spread that he would sign, and speculation formed about when he would show. After the Rumble, it seemed certain that we'd see him live on RAW, and in our case, in person. Somebody in line outside the arena claimed to see him entering a trailer next to the building. During showtime, when Styles-Jericho was announced with a simple graphic, it was a complete surprise. I turned to my fiancee, and told her "That right there alone is worth the price of our tickets. Thank your parents for me." Meanwhile, I prayed that they would get the time for a decent match. I know that what we got may have been even better, had it been ten years earlier, but still. They had a great match with no interference or lame ending. Easily the best match I've ever seen in person. I'm just happy to have seen it without the TV commercial break. I didn't take pictures of the action, because I just wanted to enjoy the match, but here are nice before and after shots.

I know I contributed to this thread already, but one other moment I have to share. My fiance took me to a SD taping right after Valentine's Day. For the 'Main Event' show taping, Slater and Axel teamed against the Lucha Dragons, in what was the Dragons' first main roster TV taping, fresh from NXT. During the bout, Axel had one in a rear chin lock, and pounded him across the chest a few times. My fiance spoke up...
Her: Wow, is he trying to do CPR on the guy?
Me: Gee, I don't know. Do you nurses usually administer CPR with that kind of force?

Yeah, I'm not convinced. For one thing, this Miami Herald article - www.miamiherald.com/sports/fighting/article56221060.html - has Ric Flair saying Lawrence Taylor will be at Raw this Monday. If true, one would think he'd be announced as a celebrity inductee. I'm going to wait on official announcements from believable sources.

My girlfriend bought me tickets to this Monday's Raw. I'm trying to explain who people are and who o like. Roman is on tv. Me: I hate him. Her: You hate him? I thought you liked Seth? You were happy when he won the title. Me: That's not Seth. Her: You sure? I thought that was Seth. Looked like him. I'll be there too, with my fiance. Speaking of... We were watching a commercial a while back for Smackdown's big move to USA Network. Reigns is on screen fumbling with cardboard boxes. Her: That's...Roman Rain, right? Me: Reigns, yeah. Her: See? I'm learning!

I'm going on record as hoping that all we see of AJ Styles at the Rumble, is a teaser vignette that ends with "Tomorrow Night...on RAW!" (Selfishly because I'll be there).

Just saw Ric Flair is bringing Lawrence Taylor with him to Raw the night after Royal Rumble....I wonder if he will be the celebrity inductee I'm thinking and hoping so. My second-ever live WWF show was WrestleMania 11. I was 15 and a freshman in high school. My fiancee and I will be at the post-Rumble Raw this year. If this comes to pass, I just may have to bust out my "First Time...Last Time...Only Time" t-shirt for the occasion. Full circle, baby!

Dad - Jake The Snake Roberts. Dad didn't understand what it was I liked about pro wrestling, but whenever Jake was on the screen, he stopped what he was doing and watched with me.
Mom - The Rock. She watched the episode of SmackDown where he came on and got the best of the Rhodes Scholars. I asked her to tune in, cause I went to the taping, but she wouldn't have if The Rock wasn't featured that night.
