Any chance that Dixie Carter was taking notes? Maybe now she'll know what a major announcement should look like. Was this the big announcement both companies were teasing for this week? The one that had one promoter Tweeting something about selling tickets before indies die off? que? Okay...that link didn't work. An annoucement based off the hinting of Gabe Sapolsky, who Tweeted: "Ever wake up just feeling like it's going to be a great day?" And John Thorne of AIW, who Tweeted: "Trying to sell more tickets before indy wrestling dies." Those were supposedly to hint at some big WWE/Evolve joint announcement this week. All I'm trying to figure out is, was the Sami Zayn announcement it?

I know the OP was being facetious, but I actually wouldn't mind a Johnny Polo flashback. I loved his GWF character that proceeded it, too.

Only a day apart, huh? My fiancee and I have only one day in between our birthdays. Congrats, and glad you had fun!

Very cool. You know there was a basic Perfect released some time ago in yellow, the carding would go a little better with your basic Flair and Piper basics. But it's cool to see all 3 figs from the different companies. I know. Originally, I just set out to get their first figures. That was blown after my fiancee surprised me with two additional Flairs (WM 8 & 4H). After Piper passed, the Walmart Entrance figure was the most reasonably priced (and had his trademark shirt). So yeah...a little lopsided, but one of each is pretty cool.

Hey everyone. There was a thread a few days back regarding what your Mattel Holy Grail was, in terms of a figure you didn't yet have. I said mine was any Mattel Roddy Piper. Well, thanks to an Amazon gift card, and Sunday package delivery, I finally have one... Now, I get that buying from Amazon is a gamble when you're dealing with figures. You're not guaranteed pristine quality. However, as long as the card wasn't totally trashed and the bubble wasn't halfway off, I was satisfied. My Walmart (and those I've checked elsewhere) hadn't had t-shirt Roddy. Online was my only choice, and I'm happy with it, even as an MOC guy. Sure, this particular figure has paint flaws on the face, and the back of the upper arms, but I don't mind. The only thing I wish they could've done, if they knew they were going to make a Superstar Entrances Piper, is put a logo on the back of his shirt. If they knew they were using a card with a rear window, they could've at least put something to see. Oh well. I now officially have each of my three childhood heroes MOC, with each toy company that offered their WWF/E figures - Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, and Mr. Perfect. Since I don't want to be posting a second thread, as a bonus, here are the three of them fron each company: HasbroJAKKSMattel (I also have the DM & Horseman Pack Flairs) I know never say never - but seeing as I'm running out of room - if I were to stop collecting tomorrow; I'd be pretty happy. Thanks for looking!

I'm one of his biggest fans, I've seen him live in WWE many times, dating all the way back to a 2001 dark match, versus Jerry Lynn.
That said, I'd rather him hang it up now, and stick around the WWE in another capacity.

So odd that RVD isn't in the game. RVD recently did an interview where he says he is currently under contract with WWE and wrestling elsewhere would violate the terms of the deal. He doesn't know when/if he'll wrestle again, but he is under contract with WWE. Not sure why they didn't just copy over the exact same RVD from 2k15 into 2k16? Especially with the ECW arena, it is a little shocking they didn't make any effort to get more ECW legends into the game. RVD, Tazz, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, RHYNO (who is IN NXT and has been there longer than Joe!), the Dudley Boyz....all those guys would have made a lot of sense. It just seems odd. Except for CAW's, the ECW arena will be pretty lonely I plan on making it my most played-in arena. I just wish there was a way to add NXT Takeover elements to it

Damnation...I knew it. I have no way of getting any DLC, as I have no online access for my 360. I'm happy for everyone else who wanted Piper and Perfect, who can get/pay for DLC. But, it seems I'm in the dust. Crap. Like it isn't hooked up to the internet or you don't have Live Gold? If the first, try connecting the 360 to your modem with an Ethernet cable. If the second, you don't have to have Gold for anything outside the Games with Gold and online Multiplayer. When I first got the 360, I didn't have online capability for it. Now, I have a WiFi signal, but it may be too old a version to recognize it.

One thing I can't decide on, is do I have Tyler Breeze feud with Lex Luger...or team up with him?

Sorry if I'm a little slow on the draw this week, I've got family stuff I'm tending to, but I really love what I'm reading. I'm always reading even if I can't reply right away. I'm loving your Austin stuff. Can't wait to see a feud with Tatanka progress.
Survivor Series should be awesome, and i can't wait for more Razor vs. Vader in a proper match. The write ups for them are very well done, also. Keep it up!

Excellent Survivor Series. I was surprised by no title changes, but the results were interesting nonetheless. I'm wondering if Lex Luger will reemerge one week wearing a Phantom of the Opera type mask, or otherwise emphasize his ruined face?
Could "Primetime" be a key word for Tamara's new client?
Can't wait to see what's next for Flair and Hogan. Thanks for the good work.

A Mattel Roddy Piper. That way I have my three favorite guys all MOC in Hasbro, JAKKS and Mattel versions.

I beleive I read somewhere that this is the final year for last-gen. That's one of the reasons why I'm picking it up.

I can't wait for Survivor Series. I hope the Bulldog upsets Yokozuna to win the title, and surprises everyone focused on the five-on-five match.
I predict that Benoit wins the IC title. Rick sees this as the opening to tag with his brother again, yet one Steiner turns heel on the other.
Interesting to see The Movement gain another member...ditto on Martel's apparent face turn.
Great work! Can't wait for more.

Most of the card was very good, but I have to say I'm disappointed with the way you copped out on writing the Monster Truck match. You could've written something slightly different, like when you twist Steve Austin's WWF debut with what actually happened in ECW. Instead, you tack on Zack Ryder's old show. Still, even if you insisted upon that direction, you misnumbered the rest of the match order. The four corner tag should've been the fifth match.
However, I loved Benoit's debut and joining of the Horsemen.
