Not to get off the Happy Birthday topic, but are those Four Horsemen sets really hard to find? They're warming shelves near me. They very well might be, now. When I told her, it was mostly to convey how much I'd appreciate them as a gift.

Well there is a reason you asked her to marry you now we know why lol just joking but that's sweet and that bag is cool as hell also happy birthday!! Thanks. Actually, she took me to Monday Night Raw as a 'just because' gift last year (When Brock came back as 'Plan C'), and I proposed to her in the parking garage afterward.

By the time I officially hit 'Post' on this entry, it should be after midnight, and officially my 36th birthday. Because my fiance had to work a hospital shift on my actual day-of-birth, we celebrated a day early. Here's what she got me for gifts this year. I was most impressed with the gift bag she found. This is one I won't be recycling for someone else's gift. The other side had Bret Hart and Stone Cold. I was also impressed with the card she found. She almost got me a giant Daniel Bryan card, but she saw the Piper one, and remembered how I told her he was my first hero in wrestling. I thought it was cute how she apologized that the stickers 'might have logos of guys you don't like'... I just appreciated the thought. The single Flair is from the WM Heritage series, of course. Coincidentally, I loved his WM 8 match. Though she just knew Flair was another hero of mine. The Horsemen set has a funny story attached: Usually, the fiance shops at Target, and will stroll by the WWE figure aisle to see what they have. She knows I like Legend/Flashback guys, and it's cute to have her give vague descriptions of the figures whose names escape her, and my feebly trying to guess what they might have been. So a few months ago, when she informed me that they had the Hall Of Fame series out, I get real serious. I ask her to concentrate and think carefully. I ask her if there was a Hall Of Fame box with four figures inside. She said no. I reasoned to myself there'd be no use explaining, and I dropped it. About a month or two ago, she tells me of her recent Target adventures in the figure aisle. She casually mentions she saw a box with four guys in it" "Ric Flair and..." "...Arn Anderson, Barry Windham, and Tully Blanchard?" "Yeah!" "And did you grab one?" "I had no idea you liked those guys." "It's my fault. Remember when I asked you a few months back if you saw a Hall Of Fame box with four guys in it? When you said no, I figured there was no use explaining. The Horsemen are a Target Exclusive, and thus, pretty hard to find on the shelves. But yes, I loved them. If you come across them again, please grab them for a future present." And there ya go. Bonus: Instead of making a separate post, I just wanted to share that I now have my childhood represented by the two greatest four packs Mattel ever put together...

Assuming MyCareer is part of the 360 version, I may use it initially to unlock everything I need to, then go back to it later when I have enough time to explore it. Since I don't use the online aspects of gaming, I just like to unlock everything on disc and play exhibition. And with a roster this large, I know I can have a lot of fun. I don't believe it's in last gen. Oh good. I was dreading having to make a CAW.

Peter Sarsgaard took piano lessons from my mom as a kid. He'd come to our house every Wednesday off the school bus. Quiet, nice kid, a little older than me. Our dads worked together at IBM. In fact, we went to his father's surprise 40th birthday party. The highlights for me included: their dog hiding under the couch, lapping up beer from spilled Bud Lite cans and snarling at anyone who tried to take them away; Also, my dad blowing up a ginger ale bottle with a firecracker in their backyard.
Whenever we see a Saragaard movie in the theater, my father always says: "He looks JUST like his dad!"

Not much of a drinker, but I enjoy a pint bottle of Guinness every once in a great while (like on my birthday this Friday).

Awesome week, Bob. First of all, just out of curiosity, is Rhino Richards the same Rhino of ECW/NXT fame?
Survivor Series is really shaping up. I love the teams for Mega-Powers vs. Dynasty. Helmsley was great choice to round out that team, by the way.
Can't wait for Bulldog-Yoko. Will Davey Boy get his due, in your diary, I wonder.
Oh, as far as Tamara's next charge: Another title holder, perhaps? Or maybe a blond boyfriend under a random character?
Thank you so much for your efforts!

I've got a bad heart too (artificial valve - four surgeries). I love Dr. Pepper. Medical professional or not, you couldn't stop me from drinking the stuff. I'm just smart to do so in moderation. That's the key word. As for Lawler, I doubt he drinks much of it, if at all. Just product placement.

This is just something that came to me moments after Owens won the IC title last night...
Let's assume that Sami Zayn returns to action - and the main roster - as a surprise Rumble entrant this coming year. Whether in the match himself, or not, Owens is responsible for Zayn's elimination. This begins an IC title feud that stretches to a match at WM 32. The whole story is that Owens protests Zayn returning at all, after Owens put him out of action. He believes Zayn doesn't deserve to be on the main roster at all, much less fighting for the IC title, or having a match at WM, after only a couple months on the roster. Zayn of course, only wants revenge against his former friend for their NXT past. It could be an underdog story to a lesser extent of Bryan at WM 30. Win or lose, it could be a great program.

I've loved him ever since he was Aaron Stevens on Sunday Night Heat.
He deserves some sort of title run soon. The guy got cut from developmental, and signed up to the OVW school to start from the bottom. Gotta respect that.

I wore my Vaudevillains shirt to the gym once. One of the trainers (male) was staring at me. When I caught his gaze, he's like: "Oh, sorry man. Just trying to read your shirt. It's so cool. Where'd you find it?"
We became friends soon after.
To answer the question more fully: I have a pretty large collection of wrestling shirts, dating back to WM 11. Lately, it's mostly CM Punk & Daniel Bryan, and a couple NXT ones. If the subject of wrestling comes up, I'll contribute to a conversation, and people respond well. Don't be afraid to make it known, when appropriate.

You know what would make an awesome OMG Moment move? A Giant Swing into the apron LED Board, knocking out the lights. Just like what happened at a past Takeover event.

Yeah, I get we may be 'stuck' with Loose Cannon era Pillman...but as a huge Hollywood Blondes mark, I'm still hopeful. Even if he has a move-set from 1997, as long as he has a Blondes-era alternate attire, I'll be content to team him up with Stunning Steve.

The Hollywood Blonds attires are in the game? Was that confirmed? Or do you just mean because Stunning Steve and Pillman are in it? I don't think we'll be getting Pillman in the Hollywood Blonds attire unless they add Austin vs. Pillman from Clash of the Champions. All the important matches they had as the Blonds are missing one person in the match. Also unless they add Col. Parker, I don't see Pillman vs. Austin from the Clash in the game They could go the route of 2K14: Have him as an NPC for the match in the mode only. Like they did with Piper as a ref for Bret-Yoko at WM 10.
