I thought Bryan had another injury separate from the concussions, like a neck or nerve issue. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought he was having issues with numbness and lack of strength in his shoulder/arm before he got the concussions. If so, permanent neck damage would be an even bigger reason to hold him out than risk of another concussion.

Nia Jax needs a new finisher like yesterday. They keep putting her in there with adorable people like Evie or nameless Ferrari logo girl and she's going to legit kill one of them with that awful spinebuster.

I don't think anybody really LOVES having to work for a living, but...do you have a better idea? I'm a very frugal person but at this point there are certain things even I just can't go without. Like a roof over my head and the internet. I live on a tiny budget and don't splurge on unnecessary expenses but at the same time I'm not about to live in a hut made of sticks in the forest just so I don't have to pay any bills.
Like right now if I had no bills and all the free time in the world to do whatever I wanted...almost everything I would want to do costs money. Gotta get it somehow.

I assume they don't release the entrance edits because they're only supposed to be listened to in a specific context. A WWE theme song has to be structured in a specific way, and most need to have a signature sound or motif in the first few seconds. For example, Edge's Alter Bridge theme was modified because it needed to have a bigger crescendo moment like Austin's glass break or Undertaker's gong. So they moved the breakdown that's usually at the end of the song to the beginning. The normal version is structured like a conventional rock song, while the WWE edit works better for their needs.

-Dragon Ball Z after school -All That/Kablam!/Stick Stickley on Nick -Alanis Morissette songs everywhere -Using WebTV to look up Banjo Kazooie cheats -"AOL Keyword:..." -Michael Jordan/Chicago Bulls. The offical sports team of the 90s. I didn't even watch basketball but had head-to-toe Chicago Bulls Starter gear and multiple Jordan jerseys.

For those who are interested, they actually have a special on the network with him discussing the process of creating some other themes. It's called "Signature Sounds" under the 'Beyond the Ring' section of Originals. Kinda hard to find but really interesting.

-The Full Sail audience -"This guy's fun to watch!" -Overly scripted promos -Segments with guys watching the monitor or having a conversation backstage and everybody involved has to stand in a horizontal line with their body facing the camera -"Lass Kicker" -"WHAT?" chants in 2015

Wait, why do you have all the current tag teams or factions, including guys still in NXT, still together five years down the road? Do you realize how long that is? It feels like the Shield was around FOREVER but that was really only what, two years? Two and a half? I mean I love most of those teams but five years? In WWE? They couldn't keep themselves from breaking up the Wyatt Family for 's sake.

I'm so over this Full Sail crowd. I've come to accept the wall-to-wall chants during matches. Annoying, but not the end of the world. They don't stop me from enjoying what goes on in the ring. But when they do it during promos and sabotage entire segments, I get unreasonably angry. You have Bayley, whom we all agree is great and deserves to have this run on top, unable to get a word in because fourteen different jamokes in the crowd are shouting over each other to try to start their own chant. Aren't you guys supposed to be smarter than the RAW audience? Have a little respect and shut the up just for five minutes.

They're calling her ratchet, which basically means low-class or basic. She used to call other people ratchet a lot around 2013/2014 so the crowd started chanting it at her. Ironically, during her earlier days in NXT she kinda was pretty ratchet. Her outfit looked cheap and her extensions were awful. Better now.

God no. Not enough to fill that time. I can already picture future Women's champion Dana Brooke coming out and cutting the Seth Rollins patented 20-minute boring promo every week and it's giving me a headache.

I'm not saying the NXT women aren't good workers, because most of them (still not sold on Charlotte) are very good. I will say, though, that one reason all these NXT matches were awesome was because the four girls were friends and would rehearse almost the entire match several times beforehand at the performance center to make sure it was perfect. On the main roster there just isn't enough time to do that. At this point I'm sure the four of them could have good matches against each other without the practice, but not against Brie Bella or Alicia Fox. They're kinda set up for failure unfortunately.

Surprisingly, WWE and William Regal are correct this time. With some exception, syllables ending in 'u' are not stressed in Japanese, so names like Sasuke are pronounced "Sauce-KAY" and not "Sa-SOOK."
Not sure why they wouldn't pick an easier name for Western audiences to read, though. Something like Minami or Reina. Either way she looks badass, gives me a 1990's AJPW vibe. Too bad she has to work with Dana.

It's like somebody took all my favorite stuff and made it into a tag team:
-obscure hip-hop references (Same Damn Time) -obscure video game references (FF7 fanfare) -obscure 90's references (Rufio! Ducktales!) -every Vine meme ever (dunking on people) -current dance trends (Whip, Nae Nae, etc.) -Non-PG slang that can slip past censors ("pause")
They don't get you like I do New Day. You speak to my soul.

I find it more distracting when the referee has to basically jump over the two guys and curl up in a corner so he's not between the two wrestlers and the camera during a pin attempt. It gives the guy being pinned an extra five seconds.

Cena would be the obvious Hogan corollary from the modern era. But the whole gimmick with Hall & Nash is that they were "outsiders" who didn't work for WCW so I'm not sure their current-day counterparts even exist. Maybe Bobby Roode and AJ Styles?

Nope. I wear wrestling shirts to the gym and out in public all the time. I don't ever worry about people I don't know judging me. Should it ever come up in conversation, I handle it like this:
"Isn't that stuff fake/dumb/for kids?"
"It's a scripted TV show I started watching as a child. Sometimes it's stupid, sometimes it's entertaining."
"Ok. Cool."
It's that easy. If somebody gets that hung-up on one of your hobbies, stop talking to them.

The does "real recognize real" mean?! A shorthand version of "real talent can recognize real talent." Essentially it means one reputable source is giving a cosign or nod of approval to a second party he or she deems to also be a reputable source. Imagine it as if the Undertaker came out and said he thinks Cesaro is the best worker in the WWE. You may have been told otherwise, but his words hold value because he's the Undertaker. He's established and his seal of approval means a great deal. Cosigns from legends or established artists are very valuable in hip-hop culture because there a lot of people who put on a facade or pretend to be something they aren't in order to make money. The general public might be fooled and believe the image these people are selling, but in the end, real recognize real.

Based on WF's collective response to the Bret Hart/Drake thread, the replies to this ought to be comedy gold. A blend of confusion and elderly contempt.
"Champagne Papi??? Instagram?? Nae Nae?? GIF?? WHERE AM I??!?"

Strictly WWE? Only one that comes to mind is Beth Phoenix vs. Katie Lea in a ladder match in OVW. Solid match.
There have been plenty of great ones if you include Japan, Mexico, and the indies, though. WWE is just now starting to catch up to the quality you could find elsewhere if you looked.
