BROKEN - what style of Turtles are you wanting? Cartoon? Video Games? Comics? Movies? Toys? All of these styles are available (as modern figures I mean) plus many more. If it's cartoon style, the next question is are you planning on buying any other characters? You really need to decide this one (and be sure about it) before you start IMO. If there's even a chance you'd want other characters, I'd recommend the NECA "Turtles In Disguise" pack, the headsculpts are way better than previous NECA versions, and obviously there are lots of other characters available in matching style. Though quality control is rather iffy and poseability is limited. If you definetely don't want other characters, I'd recommend the Figuarts Turtles. The quality is great as is the poseability. But Figuarts didn't make any other characters and have seemingly given up on the idea. As Captain McKay said, be careful with collecting vintage, the modern era Playmates is one of the laziest companies in the world and are obsessed with making money in only the cheapest ways possible, and so are constantly rereleasing old Turtles toys. DO YOUR RESEARCH. There are sellers who will sell you a rerelease and pretend it's an original (and will charge you as such), you need to know what differences to look for, if you are truly wanting vintage originals, and make sure to see multiple pictures from multiple angles. Also be aware some of the soft plastics on the originals have a tendency to furr up and discolor even when still factory sealed, though there are techniques to restore them once opened. Though of course if you are happy with rereleases thats easier, but again as Captain McKay said be aware they are not exact replicas in most cases. Colors in particular are often very different. Again - research is the key. There are plenty of resources and databases online for Turtles toys, old and new. I like the cartoon style, and do plan on buying other characters. The NECA frogs 2 packs are on my radar. I like what I see with that line. I’d only collect vintage figures MOC. I have a frogs pack for sale if you're interested

Anyone who got the Doc Ock/Aunt May pack from Hasbro Pulse- what's the trick to keeping Doc Ocks tentacles on? Mine fall out immediately

It's almost kind of shame, but with how good Owen was during this time, he really should have been the one to defeat Bret at Survivor Series 94 for the title, then drop it to Diesel later on. Owen loses the title to Diesel at RR95, maybe with Bret's help. Bret enters the rumble at #2 with HBK as #1 (Bulldog can be #3), the last two men in the ring are Bret and Shawn, Owen comes down to help eliminate Bret, HBK wins the Rumble. Bret and Owen face off at WM11 to culminate the feud. They could even add Bulldog and Anvil to the feud to make it a truly family rivalry. Tag match at WM11, Bret & Bulldog vs. Owen & Anvil. If Anvil gets fired by the company beforehand, that's when Owen brings in the mystery partner, Yokozuna. I've always thought this too. Even having Owen FINALLY beat Bret for the title only to lose it to Diesel just days later makes sense for his character. Then I would have liked to have seen bret vs Owen at WM11 in a Submission or I Quit Match like they did with Backlund. Have Backlund as owens "trainer" even if you want (teaching him the crossface chicken wing, etc).

I have heard the rumor was for Austin to work with Taker at WM13. Maybe we then get Sid vs Vader or Mankind?

Yeah Warrior/Mach literally came outta nowhere as one week they were still on the Shango feud and then bam next week they announce the title match They also at one point advertised a Kerry Von Erich match which was really outta left field as he was pretty much done by the Summer with him not doing nothing of note in forever.Felt random as hell Edit-here's his promo... Wow, I'd never heard of a Shango/Tornado match being officially advertised for the event. I think Shango did face Tito Santana in a dark match, as well as the advertised Tatanka vs Berserker match.

I was going back and watching all the Superstars episodes from 1992 and it amazed me how "off script" the build up to SummerSlam 1992 was post-WM8. Judging by TV at the time, you would have easily assumed the card for SummerSlam 1992 would have looked something like this:
Savage vs Flair for the title Warrior vs Papa Shango Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels for the IC title Undertaker vs Berserker Tatanka vs Rick Martel Bulldog vs Repo Man Money Inc vs Natural Disasters LOD vs Beverly Bros High Energy vs Nasty Boys Mountie vs Slaughter
Instead, at the time of the first "SummerSlam Report," we got a bunch of matches that were just seemingly thrown together. Even the Macho/Warrior match was out of nowhere (though it was built up decently well once it was announced.)
I know the story of how the Bret/Bulldog match came to be, but what are your thoughts on the rest of the card? Were most these programs mentioned above strictly house show attractions? Was the house show business model of hyping house show programs on TV still viable at the time? It just seemed strange to me.

SPOILER WARNING
I understand this special wasn't meant to be a huge, MCU level movie, but I have a question. The show is obviously canonical to the TV show. So how and why was the original team back together at the start of the show? They are all represented in their forties and obviously haven't been power rangers that whole time. Was the story meant to be that after Billy brought Rita back he enlisted the help of all his old team members and they all got proxy power coins to morph again? This was the backstory I made in my head but the show didn't do a good job of explaining it if that's the case.
Any thoughts?

Loved the original Headshrinkers. Would have liked to have seen a prolonged feud between them and the Steiners in 1993 over the tag titles instead of the Quebecers.
The face turn in 1994 seemed a little odd they appeared to get over with the fans. Losing the tag titles in a non-televised event did them no favors IMO.

I wonder if this was going to be a match at Summer Slam 1992. Seems logical. It couldve been a match at Mania that year if Hogan/Flair and Jake/Mach happened Yes its always been rumored those were the original Big 3 matches for WM8. I'd always assumed the "original" plan for SummerSlam 92 would have been a Savage/Flair rematch and Warrior vs Sid

I like this one, especially for 97 Bret. I think it captures his condescending smile and snarky attitude. What glasses are those?

The first few that came to mind were 11, 29, and 34. It’s really hard to look at any of those shows and say “that was a legendary moment” or “I need to rewatch that now” 11 just bores me to tears. Taker vs Bundy, Bigelow vs. Taylor, seemingly wasting guys like Bret, Owen, Luger & Bulldog on throwaway matches. Diesel vs. HBK is the only redeeming part of the show to me. 29 is super painful because I actually almost ended up going to it. Thank god I didnt waste the money. Fandango over Jericho, Henry kills Rybacks push, Cena/Rock is a finisher spamfest, Trips/Brock is the worst of the trilogy of matches IMO, Punk/Taker is overrated, Big Show/Sheamus/Orton team is pointless, painfully boring World Title Match/Feud (Del Rio vs. Swagger) and guys like Bryan and Ziggler are wasted in a quick matchup. Only redeeming qualities of this show - Punks live entrance, Taker’s entrance, Shield continued dominance, Entrance stage (Makes 35 in the same state look like an architectural masterpiece). 34 just never got going for me. Rollins/Miz/Balor kicked off the show in the best way possible but man did it all go downhill from there. Charlotte’s ego buries Asuka, Cena/Taker with no build was dumb, no one cared about Nia Jax as a face (to be fair most didnt care for her as a heel either), Becky/Sasha/Bayley relegated to the preshow battle royal won by NAOMI of all people, we get to suffer through a Jinder US Title win after Rusev day is on fire, Orton is Orton and Roode is still a better choice than somehow going with the worst possible outcome as champion, AJ/Shinsuke wasn’t great, heel turn was predictable, a damn child became tag champion, and Brock beat Roman again after a years worth of holding the Universal title hostage. Only redeeming qualities was the surprise Rousey performance, the IC Title match, and D-Bry’s return against Owens/Zayn. I agree with WM11, a lame show but I liked HBK vs Diesel. WM29 could have been a lot better but I liked a few stuff on there tbh looking back, maybe as time flew by I began to like it a lil bit lol. I’d say it’s still overall one of the worst ever & one of the most underwhelming shows that had a lot of potential. I liked a few things about WM34... Bryan returned plus Seth/Miz/Balor, Angle/Ronda/HHH/Steph, Taker squashing Cena, Lesnar beating Reigns was cool even though the match sucked hard. I was at WM34. Trust me, no one was happy with lesnar vs reigns

Yeah they basically feuded that whole summer with the ''Legion of Sissies'' stuff.Made no sense not to blow the feud off then As far as Disasters go, have em defend the belts against Money Inc I’ve read the whole reason the disasters even got the belts is they wanted LOD in a big spot on the Summerslam card but didn’t want LOD to win the belts again, so they gave them to the Disasters and the plan was always for Money Inc to get them back. Obviously considering Hawk went AWOL after Summerslam probably a good choice, but yea like others have said just have them beat the Beverlys. I've heard the ORIGINAL idea was for LOD to win the tag titles back from Money Inc at SummerSlam. But then failed drug tests and difficulty backstage changed those plans. I'm sure LOD insisted on at least getting their win back from Money Inc and probably saw them as a higher profile team, so we got the match minus the belts at stake since Money Inc instead dropped them to the Disasters for a bit.

Let's assume Warrior doesn't get busted for steroids...
Scott Hall has said in shoots that the plan at Survivor Series was for him to "break" Machos leg and send him into commentary. However, Bruce Prichard said on his pod last week that he doesn't remember ever hearing that as creative.
I'd theorize original plans were for a warrior/nailz feud in the winter. I think if Warrior hadn't been fired, Nailz probably beats Bossman at SVS.
I think Razor does put Macho out of action which builds him even more for the title match with Bret at Rumble.
By the time WM9 rolls around, MAYBE we see Warrior and Macho take the place of Hogan and Beefcake against Money Inc for the tag titles. Or Macho simply continues in his commentary role as he did, and Warrior is used in the "attraction" spot. Maybe he jobs to Yoko to build him up? Maybe a feud with Luger?
Regardless, the two of them as a unit didn't look to last past SVS in my opinion.
