I see TONS of star potential in Balor. He's great in the ring. Great Physique, Great look in general, awesome entrance. My only issue that I have with him is his mic skills. He's not very good. He comes off as really soft spoken and nice and has no fire at all. Now I actually wouldn't mind this if they went ALL OUT with this Demon side of him and had it really be a split personality to the point where he doesn't even remember the events that happen when he becomes the Demon......UNFORTUNATELY THEY TOOK THIS IDEA WITH KANE!!!!!!!! Which really sucks cause I thought it could be the one thing that could put Balor over the top and give him way more depth as a character. With all do respect, the idea wouldn't work with Balor - he doesn't really seem as though he has the skills or conviction to follow through on it. As awesome as he is in terms of look, in ring work and match quality, he severely lacks personality. His whole 'demon' persona is only ever some paint on ppvs, everything else about him is unchanged. As great as his work is inside the ring, his mic skills and personality is very bland. That was great in Japan where technical brilliance is more favored, but in the U.S. Where you need to bring that entertainment factor, that's not going to cut it. He needs a stronger personality that is more blatantly something. He has no real gimmick besides occasionally wearing some paint. He seems destined to do well on the main roster, but if he could pull all this off, it would only serve to help him do better. |

The first set I don't care about the figures, that packaging is beautiful though, looks awesome and very consistent with wwenetwork branding.

So glad to see the Kanes. BOD Kane is my favourite attire of his so looking forward to using it! Corporate Kane looks exactly like the caw I made last year minus the hair. Awesome to see they have the right trons for each version. I hope that means they are in different slots but I the same entrance animation makes me think they're the same. Ideally there should be 3 slots for Kane covering the initial attires, one for BOD and one for corporate/demon so they all have the right music. I wish they were more thorough with the entrance animation too. All the earlier masked ones should have done the ring pyro standing on the apron not in the centre of the ring.
I guess this basically confirms no demon Kane with the game which is disappointing. Clearly they wanted to save it for DLC to make us pay more. Not cool since it was free last year....

It was likely prerecorded. He already had his wrestling gear on. You could always tell during the corporate reign when he'd get physical because he wore the large shiny wrestling boots instead of the dress shoes. Last night he had all the gear on underneath, you could clearly see that. All he had to do was quickly have makeup apply the face paint around the eyes, then slap on the glove, pads and mask. He clearly rushed because he was still adjusting his straps in the entrance and the mask was sitting a bit too high on his face. Such an awesome segment though.

Will we get the current demon version of Kane with the tank top singlet in the elite line that he has worn since WM29?
If the WWE title is going to molded as one piece, why are the plates spaced incorrectly and will this be fixed? (Eg large spacing between gold bars and main plate)

He better be. They had the model last year which looked so good it could easily slot in this year without improvement but here's hoping they have anyway. I really hope they aren't intending of going down the route of offering it as DLC. That'd be a cheap move since they're really only seeking what we've already had. Last year we had to wait for the showcase to get the unmasked Kane, I don't want to be in the same situation this year to have the demon version. If masked Kane is not in, maybe we'll be able to create him? Last year they idiotically had the hair attached to KANE, when everyone knows the hair is attached to THE MASK. If it was me, I would have Kane's mask be int he CAW section, and if you select it, you could toggle hair ON or OFF. That way, we could just use Corporate Kane to make an alternate attire for Demon Kane. But like you said, Demon Kane was in the game last year and it was PERFECT. Given that he is back to being Demon Kane on TV, maybe they could just do a PATCH and add him as an alternate attire? I don't think 2K should get in the habbit of asking us to PAY for things we got free last year....especially after we got SCREWED on Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Charlotte. If I was 2K, I'd be preparing Demon Kane as a day one patch in. Exactly. I don't want to be forced to pay but also wait for it to come as DLC when he really should come with it already. He still had a masked stint last year so there's no reason to abolish it really since he still wore it in stints. I'm guessing they will leave the mask in but it's hard to say. That hair issue was so frustrating last year. I doubt they'd have fixed it though so you'd likely need to add hair. |

Dammit they should have used that singlet torso for demon Kane. Heck they could have used it for his previous masked tank top attires.
I'll only get sting here. They're clearly holding back the full elite ring gear modern sting to try and get us to cough up all the $$$$ we can before giving it to us. This one looks good though he really should have had the red robe.
Scan looks odd in the first pic but I think it's just the pic angle. I just want ring gear sting already!!

Not to mention how oh so right I was about the mask in the Authority's office and how its now back and empty which is oh so symbolic! Makes your sig look even better now too! $139.95, so basically an extra 40 bucks. Figure in approx $20 for the Pop and then that again for the season pass So really it's not worth it? It's on par with last year. Last year it was $140 too but thats because Australia's prices are so much more inflated than US prices and even more so since our dollar is struggling right now. Last year it was the same, so this year's would be the equivalent for USD$99.99. For us it is worth it because it was like $25 for the showcase season pass alone and then it was $10-15 I think per superstars pack. The savings really add up there for us plus you get the pop, arnolds and the special case etc. Surely the US would be getting a collectors edition, it doesn't make sense they wouldn't when we have one here. I know they said no originally which is why I was shocked when I saw preorder info for the collector edition. I don't know why but I was holding out just in case and they came through. It really should be a case of all or none in terms of countries getting the special edition. |

I also got the email about the EB games edition. I'm going to go ahead and order it since this says it includes not just showcases but also playable superstars etc. Glad the pass is not just showcases but is all inclusive!  |

It's probably a demo screen. But still takes me back to them old smackdown game days!
I'm really liking how this game is visually shaping up. I'm pretty damn excited for the game. I know those obsessed with the creative suites hated on last years but the fresh gameplay kept me more entertained than I have for years so with this year being a far deeper and more complete game, it looks like it's set to deliver on many levels building on the awesome graphics and gameplay that made last year so fun!

DAMN! They included the Demon Kane mask in this set! Now I'm gonna need a bunch of those ASAP. This is TOTALLY what they should have done with the cop out that was elite 31. It needed this mask and the singlet tank top. So awesome they've given us this mask though. I can just tell though, they're gonna go ahead and add it into the main elite line once I get this pack.

As cool as Ziggler is, he makes for very boring figures. His elites and the tonne of basics he has had are largely forgettable and very similar and usually have very average scans. Miz however has had a tonne of different attires with cool details and great accessories like entrance gear. It totally makes sense.
