Any chance ROH changes the Supercard of Honor start time? They usually work around the HOF and NXT, but NxT just got announced for Saturday’s evening Mania weekend, same time as SCOH. Really would like to go to both but ROH has my $ either way. I’m 90% sure they both ran the same time as each other in Orlando last year... so it’s doubtful. Damn. Wasn’t sure about last year. When I went to 32, NXT was Friday and ROH was Saturday. They did a 2 night thing that year, and night 1 was Friday I believe but early in the day so ppl could still go to NXT. I bought Supercard tickets today. I’ve done the whole Mania/NXT/Raw weekend thing before so I just wanted to see something different this year.

Loved Jinder’s reign. Old school booking. I think it proved he belongs. He’s not the best wrestler in the world or anything, but he was the first truly over heel in a while.

I felt like that was the planned finish, but the way the finish DDT was executed was kind of awkward. It’s like the plan was for Alma’s to do the DDT where he hooks the arm behind their back, but he couldn’t because Drew was already hurt, which made it look weird.

He had a run longer than he ever should have, got some pretty cool moments, got to face AJ Styles one on one 3 times, a WrestleMania appearance, and more.
Cool little run for him, probably a dream come true, and now he will make more money on the indies than he ever would have before.
The CinderEllsworth story is complete.

Absolutely ridiculous pricing. Won’t buy a shirt there again even on sale. Screw that.

Undertaker must have thought along the same lines like I did.... because I had zero interest in seeing Sting vs. Undertaker. I remember that it all came up in like 2011 I think it was, with those vignettes on Raw that seemed mysterious and it looked like Sting was coming to the WWE. Then it just ended up being Taker's 427th return to the WWE after taking time off. But it seemed that's when the dream match of Taker vs. Sting was talked about a lot by fans. I never cared to see these two wrestle against each other. Even 15 years ago I wouldn't have cared to see them go at it. I would have rather seen Goldberg vs. Austin before Sting vs. Taker. It started LONG before 2011. Stone Cold vs Goldberg and Taker vs Sting were the 2 matches everyone talked about during the Monday night Wars.

I see this ending up being a Captain Jinder vs Captain Lesnar team elimination match. There’s just not really a smart way to book this match. The best decision would be to have jinder get a dirty win in a singles match, but that would kill Lesnars momentum. And Brock mauling or beating Jinder clean and decisively would hurt Jinder way worse. Terrible match up at the moment if they go through with it.

Sorry to double post. But the one that that really irks me, is that we could still get that stare down at least. Why not have Taker come out at this years Mania, and dub it as “Taker returns to announce his future”. Have the idea be he is clearing up all rumors. Either he’s done or he has a few left in the tank.
In the middle of the segment have Sting come out. Electricity in the air. Stare down. Sting says no matter what, Taker has his respect and that he wished they could of had the dream match, but that they still have the most iconic careers of their respective brands. Retire together officially right then and there.

Ehh. At the time they had the conversation, they were probably both still planning to work a few more Mania’s. Taker obviously was, and I know that without Sting’s injury he would of continued any matches WWE wanted to do. Those WWE paychecks were nice I’m sure, and he still loved to work. I’m sure Taker said something along the lines of “maybe down the road but I’ve got a few other guys on the radar right now.”
Should of happened at 31. I think if they both went back in time knowing what they know now, I think they’d do it at 31.
No resentment toward Taker for me.

I wish we could go 5 years without a Cell match. It’s so over done that Shane’s Cell bump tonight wasn’t even really shocking.

Heel and baby face has never been about crowd reaction. If you cheat, lie, and do generally bad things you are heel, regardless of crowd reaction. If you stand up for what’s right, do good, and win cleanly you are face.
There is a blurred line right now with some guys.
Reigns, heelish attitude, but ultimately face, regardless of boos.
Enzo, heelish attitude, ultimately heel, regardless of cheers.
It’s never really been like how it is presently but at the end of day you can see who is what. There’s not a question that Enzo is heel, or Reigns is face even though they get the opposite of expected reactions.

All Vince McMahon has to do is show footage of WWF from 1995/1996 of the Kliq doing the Too Sweet and be like "your honor, at the time this footage aired, the Young Bucks were in elementary school". "This court rules in favor of Mr. McMahon. The defendants must pay thousands of dollars and kiss his ass". Except wrong. The curtain call video doesn’t show undisputable evidence of where exactly their fingers are placed. Do the 2 Sweet Sign. There so many small variations you could throw in to make it different. Middle and pinky further back, thumb resting on the middle and ring fingers nails, middle and ring fingers more curved. Then factor in that they do it over seas, and haven’t gone after others that have done it, and it sets a precedent. Nash and Hall did it in TNA all the time. No lawsuit. And on top of that WWE didn’t even try to trade mark it until, they seen other people making money off it. It’s like, I can’t come up with a great idea, not TM or copyright it, and put it out to the public. So another guy sees my idea and uses it. I can’t claim retro ownership without undisputable proof of ownership, which WWE doesn’t have as that gesture had been around longer than WWE.

Know what really annoys me? When an NFL game is on and I'm unable to watch it. So I think hey I'll record and watch that in a few hours. So then naturally, after the live game has ended, before I watch my recording, I go to NFL.com.
And bah gawd could you believe they spoiled the game? Unbelieveable. You'd think they wouldn't want spoil their own games and would give people a few days to watch before posting about it.
Crazy as that sounds, people don't, but should view wresting the same way.

If dolph had a short hair cut and used the zig zag instead of the superkick still, would he have ever been called HBK-lite?
Honestly? I don't think anyone can answer that question yes honestly.
Fans have judged him unfairly in my opinion. Every time he's given the ball he's done a great job and the crowd just doesn't react. Which you could say is partly on him, but there are times when a wrestler can't connect with the crowd because quite honestly, the crowd sucks sometimes. It's happened with Reigns, Balor, and Ziggler. They hit all the points that fans claim to want, and they still dont want anything to do with them

Knowing what I know about the tournament...Im not real excited about this thing. They really should have done this live so people would be "forced" to tune in. Knowing the gals I was pulling for were mostly gone after the first round. I couldnt care less if I see this or not. Ummmmm, isn't that more your fault than theirs.......

If I had a dime for every time Enzo Amore has had a singles run and been given a real opurtunity to work singles, I would have ZERO dimes. Enzo can't wrestle is some new internet thing. He has "it". They never had trouble entertaining us in tag matches. This is his first true singles push so give him a chance. He's done nothing to prove he's a terrible worker. Not saying he done anything to prove the opposite either, but this is his first chance so let's see. Simon Gotch said he broke his ankle countering a wristlock. Whoa! Someone got hurt wresting!?!?
