Be the Best 2016 Live from the Nutter Center in Dayton, OH only on SNW Player
SNW World Championship Riley Shamrock vs. Chris Hammers This is the big one. Riley Shamrock is closing in on one year as champion. It’s been a successful reign with the ‘Young Gun’ learning and improving whist holding off all comers. His only problem has been an old rival. Riley previously served under Hammers in Revolution X. Riley later left RevX and battled against his old leader. However, Riley never beat Hammers one-on-one. Riley put aside his battle with Hammers and RevX to find singles success. He quickly rose up the ladder and won the World title last July. But Hammers has re-emerged as a problem. Recently, Hammers has had Riley’s number in every type of situation. Can Riley finally overcome his old leader? Or will Hammers become a three-time World Champ?
Be the Best Semi Finals Kevin Hart vs. Jack Powers Ace Bennett vs. Jordan Devine First there was 16, now there’s only 4. There will be two semi-finals with the winners facing off later on in the evening. The winner of Be the Best 2015 will not only get a shiny gold trophy but also a title shot for the SNW World Championship for SNW’s biggest event of the year, Riot Act IX.
SNW Duos Championships Parkland Bros (Duke and Axel Parkland) vs. Fatality Squad (Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann) At Clash of the Duos, the Fatality Squad were looking to become the first ever three time Clash of the Duos winners. However, the Parklands scored shock win after shock win, managed to get to the finals and ended the record breaking reign of Kagemann and Thomas. Now can lightening strike twice?
The Gentlemen’s Club Explode Mike Bockwinkel vs. Nick Jacobs Before the Fatality Squad’s record breaking reign, Bockwinkel and Jacobs were the Gentlemen’s Club. They were formerly the longest reigning Duos Champions in SNW. But then Bock got Nick kicked out of SNW. Years later, Nick returned. Now the match we’ve been waiting for, the Gentlemen’s Club clash.
SNW FUSE Championship Daniel Sinn vs. Matt Spade “Team Bennett’s” Matt Spade was the only man to score a win over Daniel Sinn in Be the Best Qualifying. He managed to repeat the feat with a win at the last show. Can Spade win his first singles title in Eight years.
Women Rivals Amy Lee vs. Taliah Winters Taliah Winters has made an impression since debuting on the main roster. And has caught the eye of the first Women’s Champion Amy Lee. Can Amy put down the talented youngster?
Clash of the Stones Cameron Stone and Baby J Jamerson vs. Joseph Stone and Ken Slayer
Six-Man Tag Action AirDevils (Carson Clark, Tom Gerard and Travis Cantrell) vs. Dave Demento and Mockingbird (Dean Caufield and Elliot Reid)
Countdown to BtB Be the Best iPPV pre-show
‘Fans Choice’ rematch Jet Jaguar vs. Jason Williams
SNW Women’s Championship Beast Kong vs. Kourtney Love vs. Red Fire
Revolution X (Safu and LyNN) vs. Joseph Brothers (Jack and Matt Joseph)
Cody Rejero vs. Cain Jackal
El Hijo de Angel Custodio vs. Jacob Ryler

Lullaby to the Fallen
A tombola is set up in the ring for the Be the Best draw. “Knights of Cydonia” hits and World Champion Riley Shamrock comes out. He announced the Block winners, Devine, Bennett, Powers and Hart, who come out in turn. Riley spins the tombola and announces the match-ups for the iPPV:
BLOCK D Winner Kevin Hart vs. BLOCK C Winner Jack Powers
BLOCK B Winner Ace Bennett vs. BLOCK A Winner Jordan Devine
All the competitors square-up to one another and Shamrock watches on then “Children of the Revolution” hits. Chris Hammers walks out and gives his prediction on the matches, saying Powers and Devine will win but it won’t matter since Hammers is taking the title at the iPPV. Riley says he thinks Hart and Ace will advance then he suggested a match later on involving all six men. Everyone agrees, then leaves.
1) Joseph Brothers vs. Joseph Stone and Ken Slayer: This was a bit of a DUD. As soon as these two got going Cameron Stone and Baby J Jamerson attacked both teams. Stone dumped the Joseph’s out of the ring and then he beat down his son while Baby J beat up Slayer. Fans hated it, especially after a long opening segment.
2) Axel Parkland vs. Steven Kagemann: The first actual match of the night was a little lopsided. Axel is still green and that really shows when in a singles match. However, Kagemann is a pro and lead him through a good match. Thomas and Duke were at ringside but didn’t get involved. Kagemann hit the DeathDrive for the win.
FUSE Champion Daniel Sinn makes his way out and he talks about how the SNW officials have told him his next challenger is Matt Spade, since Spade beat Sinn in BtB qualifying. Sinn told Spade if he can beat him again he can have a title shot at the iPPV.
3) Daniel Sinn vs. Matt Spade: Sinn rushed into his match last time and got caught out. He was wary of this in the rematch. The two locked up and had some good exchanges. Then when they went to kick it into the next gear, Spade caught Sinn out with another quick roll up.
Sinn was livid but Spade made his exit. The challenger high fived a few fans on the way out and smiled while he posed with an imaginary FUSE Championship.
4) Dave Demento vs. Tom Gerard: Pretty plain match, Gerard tried to highfly while Demento brought him back down with his shoot style. Demento caught the Englishman with a spinning backfist which led to him hitting him with the F***tard.
Jason Williams made his way out and took a mic. He did the basic tactic of earning heat by slagging off the city where the event is held before moving onto Jet Jaguar. He said he would rid himself of Jaguar tonight. The lights went off and when they came back on Jag was behind Jason. Jag went for the headkick, Jason ducked and went for a low kick, Jag jumped out the way and kicked Jason to the outside. Jason swore revenge, saying he’ll see him later.
5) WOM: Beast Kong vs. Amy Lee vs. Taliah Winters vs. Red Fire: The title was on the line here but the focus was on Amy and Winters who have been feuding recently. They took each other out here leading to Kong dropping Fire with the Sitdown Powerbomb.
6) Duke Parkland vs. Bret Thomas: In the second of the two Duos Champions vs. challengers matches, Axel’s brother Duke took on the big powerful Thomas. Duke showed potential to be a good singles star here, playing a brilliant underdog to Thomas’ monstrous power. Despite this, Duke fell to the Fall.
Not content with the wins, Thomas and Kagemann beat down Duke. Axel entered and ended up being hit the with Ball and Chain. The Squad then posed with the belts before leaving the championships with the fallen champions.
7) Mike Bockwinkel vs. Travis Cantrell: Again, another one sided match which seems to be a common theme of tonight’s show. But in this one Cantrell didn’t stand a chance. Bock beat him pillar-to-post. Fans expected Nick Jacobs to show up but he didn’t. So Bock won with the Bockwinkel Special.
Nick Jacobs did show up but only after the bell, brawling with Bock before dumping him over the barricade. Jacobs went to follow but was hit with an eye rake which allowed Bock to exit.
Intermission. The final three matches were announced, Dave Demento came out at the break and lived up to his character. He made fun of everyone. Lots of fun interactions with the audience.
8) Mockingbird vs. Cody Rejero and El Hijo de Angel Custodio: Simple enough tag action to welcome the fans back from the break. Cody and El Hijo made a fun team, they worked well together but the MBirds were just better and got the win with a Frogsplash.
9) Jet Jaguar vs. Jason Williams: Jason attacked Jaguar before the bell and brawled around ringside before the match actually started. It was good to see two mid-carders battle it off so high up the card, this could easily have been chucked on the iPPV. The pace was fast but both men hit hard when needed. Jason missed a 630 and was caught by a head kick. Jag followed it up with a TTM for the win.
10) Riley Shamrock, Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart vs. Chris Hammers, Jordan Devine and Jack Powers: Big blockbuster main event pitting three Be the Best iPPV matches in one huge match. The World title competitors and the two Semi Final Be the Best tournament competitors. The match was a great back and forth match that topped off a good night’s action. There was some great spots including a tower of doom and Ace hitting a rana off the top onto everyone below. The finish had a great flurry of finishers, ending up with Hammers catching out the World Champ yet again with a Lariat.

Alt: Pro – Tag Team Mayhem
The show opened with Alt:Pro owner Zachary Miller coming out to announce a tag title tournament. Four teams would battle it out then the winners will go onto the main event with the winning team becoming champions. Miller being a heel character picked Arthur Williams and Rory Wiseman to win the titles.
The first semi-final match pitted Miller’s picks to win against youngsters Tobias Black and Nate Ryan. The Brit’s isolated Ryan before he made the hot tag out. Black came in on fire, even hitting the flip piledriver. But the boys from Detroit fell after the Excalibur.
The second semi-final match had the Blaze Brothers facing Alt:Pro’s resident Mexicans, Pablo 'Speedy' Gonzalez and Antonio Benitez. This was a lively affair with some good spots. The Blaze bros won after the T-Bone Suplex/Corkscrew Moonsault Leg Drop.
In a six-man tag at the last Alt:Pro show talented youngster Dane Warron pinned DJ Hughes. This time they faced off one-pn-one. Warron is the one to watch in Alt:Pro, he is seriously impressive and continued with the rolling cutter he calls the DeathStrike.
Twisted Assassin continued his undefeated streak in Alt:Pro over Jake Swindell. The youngster tried to deal some damage to the masked man but Assassin dropped him on his head with the Assassin’s Fury.
Two pairs of rivals clashed in six man tag as the rivals of Everson / Crockett and Havok / CKJ were thrown on separate sides of the ring with the added addition of Matt and Big Bob respectively. The match was a bit strange but did well to continue both feuds. Matt got the win with the Double Underhook Powerbomb on CKJ.
Phenom battled Tom Felix and killed the former rapper. No content with a beating Phenom got himself DQ’ed for a chair shot. He beat down Felix further before calling out his rival Alexander Kuleshov. Other wrestlers came out to pull them apart.
Vincent Fury bounced back from not winning the World title by defeating Vincent Valintino. The highflyer put up a fight but a distraction from Johnny Arsenic allowed Fury to pick up the win with the Fury Strike.
For the first time the Alt:Pro World title was defended as A.J Matthews put his title on the line against Falcon. Falcon wasn’t much competition and it wasn’t that good of a match. AJ put Falcon away with the Fijiwara Armbar.
The final of the tournament was an excellent encounter to between the two best teams in Alt:Pro. The two teams have been rivals since the first show but this was their best match. It helped that this was put on last. All the finishers were teased or and a second T-Bone Suplex/Corkscrew Moonsault Leg Drop to give the Blaze Brothers the titles much to the annoyance of Zachary Miller who pouted at ringside.
Quick Results: 1) SEMI: Arthur Williams and Rory Wiseman def. Tobias Black and Nate Ryan 2) SEMI: Blaze Brothers def. Pablo 'Speedy' Gonzalez and Antonio Benitez 3) Dane Warron def. DJ Hughes 4) Twisted Assassin def. Jake Swindell 5) Matt, Patrick R. Everson and Kris Havok def. Ron Crockett, Christopher Kennedy Jones and Big Bob 6) Tom Felix def. Phenom 7) Vincent Fury w) Johnny Arsenic def. Vincent Valintino 8) WORLD: A.J Matthews def. Falcon (Defence 1) 9) FINAL: Blaze Brothers def. Arthur Williams and Rory Wiseman (New Champions)

Sorry about not replying. I didn't see it. Great two shows. Loving Hazard being back and being one of the main focuses of the show with his feud with Lukas. Also enjoying Kellen v Donner being built up. Some big matches on the tv shows, too big really but if announced beforehand would have brought in the numbers. I see your mentioning the Japanses threesome more, hoping for a return, seems like they have been away for ages. Thought !nter would be kicked out of AoA, would like him to turn face eventually, currently he's playing second fiddle to Lukas. Didn't he used to team with Hazard? Kint/Arnaud sounds good too, I wasn't sure on Kint at first but you've built him up well. Not sure about Bane/Stylix, I think Bane should be moving up the card. But maybe after Sinners Paradise. I saw the poster in the resource thread, looks awesome.

I really want to play TEW but I'm kinda clueless (I've watched a few people play it and I've messed with watcher games) and afraid that I'll just get lost in it. Any advice/tips on how to properly play it? Try out EWR first. It's much easier to use. Some members have been playing EWR for years and still don't understand TEW. Plus, it takes ages to get stuff done on TEW because it's so in detail. Of course, EWR is missing a lot of details TEW has. But start with EWR and see how you get on. Just let me know if you need any help.

We're all looking at it through our wrestling knowledge. We know they are old slow guys.
But for kids and casual fans they immediately know that Show and Kane are a threat. Either due to their size or their name.

Interesting. Most guys would do a backstory. The only way to look at this is to think this is an alternative Universe. It does seem like a very random roster. Please check out the FAQ thread and other diaries to see how they are set out and run. And most importantly, good luck.

If you want, gimme a day and I'll write up something to go against you Progs. Go ahead. Could you get it handed in tomorrow? Yeah, will do. EDIT: Done and sent. I thoroughly enjoyed writing that, even if it did take most of my day. I wish coding was easier though.

Well, congratulations on winning by default I guess @progwd! I'd take one of their spots but I don't know enough about classics and don't want to do modern day because of ideas I might run with my diary. If you want, gimme a day and I'll write up something to go against you Progs.

I know there isn't much of a rugby following here. But anybody else watching?
Gutted Wales lost yest. Thought we had a strong team and Eng had injuries. I thought Wales had a good fixtures with the two toughest at home (Eng and Ire) but we must be out of it now. Probably 3rd. England second and Ireland first again.

Probably not going to get into as much detail as I wanted to on my entry, simply because I'm occupied with school/book/diary at the moment, but I will have something completed and turned in. Yep, finishing mine off now.

Interesting stuff, it's a little odd. But then again, wouldn't it be boring if you just did what we expected. SS rematch is pretty cool plus the change, not a fan of the Uppercats losing, should have built that match up, could have been a hot opener to Fast Lane, two tag matches in a row? at least it's booked right, what's this Titus stuff? interesting to have HHH offer Reigns an Authority spot, could go either way, either mega heel or the push he needs to become full face, I like Mayrse being back and am interested to see where Miz/Mizdow goes, cool ending, I think some fans might feel cheated there was no Sting but cool ending nethertheless. I think it's a solid start but knowing you, I think you got big plans and once they kick in this will be one of the diaries to read. Keep it up and good luck.

Congrats once again on getting to another Mania, sadly I think this is the only time I reply to this diary. But I speak for many when I say that I always read this diary, one of the bests ever on the board, and that is even if you exclude the length. Pretty big pre-show bout, glad the Great White went over. Cool opening segment, loved the silverdome/superdome stuff again silly old man Hogan, cool to see all the guys out, it does seem like it is missing Rock but with him main evening I see why, epic ladder match Hardy's had to win didn't they?, Barrett/Y2J would be class glad he put over the young talent, love the story behind Reigns/Punk, Rusev winning was a surprise but puts him over huge, not sure about the placement of the match but the ladder match had to open so maybe your right, did HHH/Ambrose need to be a stip? could that have waited till Extreme Rules, but I see why you did it , it did make it different to the other matches on the card, If you have to have a Divas match then it has to be AJ/Paige, unsure about Taker/Wyatt, I don't mind the decision but not sure on the finish, I would have had Taker kick out, them to reverse finishers for a bit before Sister Abigail wins it, makes Wyatt look stronger rather than totally reliant on his brothers, Tista/Orton had the awkaward follow that spot, wasn't needed really but I guess both needed to be on the card, Glad Cena went over, great write up, HIAC is a little overkill esp with other stip matches on the card, or whatever if it Wrestlemania 30, great to see Bryan win, fantastic end, I love that Seth is already number one contender, great booking there, can't wait already for Extreme Rules.
Great RAW too. Personally, I'd rather the title bout be one on one but I see Seth getting that later down the line (and hopefully winning), don't see the point in HHH/Ambrose again in a stip, liking the NXT stable apart from Zayn, he doesn't fit in, Reigns bouncing back was perfect too, that final segment though wow.
Can't wait to see what you got next up your sleeve.

All looking good. Looks like your gearing up for WCW vs. WWF, should be epic. KOTR looks good, maybe you should bold or italise the titles to make it stand out. I don't know who I predict to win, Helmsley would be cool but maybe a little early. Ramon/Hart should be a class bout. Hoping Diesal goes over. Great to see Unabomb back, hope he goes over Zuna since another big rivalry loss would kill of his character for good. Loving the team of Hart and Bulldog although I see you putting the titles on Thrillseekers. Keep this up.

We should be allowed to say what we want. When people use terms like this, most of the time they don't mean it. And those who do mean it deserve the punishment. The only way it's ever going to be stopped used as a slur is if we teach the next generation that it's wrong. But even then it's going to take a long time. Oh and using "daily lexicon" in your opening post isn't going to help. To me if came off like your looking down on the rest of the board. I apologise if it was the only word that came to mind. But it did irk me a bit. Apologies from me, then. That's just the way I talk. Also, I agree it's going to be a gradual thing. The title of this thread, more than anything, I think, is misleading people. My intentions were to just raise the issue and get people to question their use of it. Fair enough man. Sorry for bringing it up. Yeah, the way I look at it being a gradual thing, is in terms of race. My parents might say something vaguely racist and I'd pick them up on it. Then when I'm older my children should know it's something that is unacceptable. Of course, the problem being, not everyone is like this. I have friends who think it's fine, so they will continue to pass down the feeling that it's okay to say stuff like that. So it takes time, a long time. But as long as more people become aware it is the wrong thing to say it's fine. I would never say these words in real life but on a message board, it's easier to get carried away. Like I said, most of the time they don't mean it (on message boards, that is), it's those who do mean it that should be punished.
