i gave up on the MNW line... we didnt even get a shipper. and we talkin series 4...lol.. oh well. another line that should have more exposure just rots away at Walmart with limited runs.. Wait series 4? Did they reveal 3 series at wrestlemania?. Damm ok gonna be tough then. Hopefully they are staggered a bit apart. So much product coming out. Making my head spin. Series 3 was fully revealed early March as Booker T & Stevie Ray Harlem Heat, RVD WWF 1997 and The Rock late 1997, with BAF Disciple.

Hi Steve, will the error in lack of red deco on the side of the Summerslam 2024 X-Pac's legs be addressed?
This was quite a disappointing oversight...

I would also like to toss my hat in the ring and ask whether anyone coming across a Piper and Bret could pick them up for a desperate UK'er, a land where we don't get Ultimates at retail at all and online is harder than finding one in the wild at US Walmarts.
Of course, I will pay for the shipping and all, just wanted a little help. Cheers!

Upon watching his WCW run a couple of years ago, I thought of this question myself. And could only come up with the idea of tweaking his look slightly and his attitude. He needed a Sting-like character tweak.
I was thinking he should have returned as he did, beat a few NWO guys, but slowly become a bit more ruthless and intimidating as the NWO would gang up on him and force a change. Wet his hair, wear a leather mask, same shape as his facepaint, but dirty looking, maybe similar to Kane's 2011-2012 mask, or a look similar to REDRUM/RELLIK from TNA.
Basically like crow Sting but with a darker more violent take, keep the promos and be a bit more like a Punisher type where he sought revenge on guys. Make it so even the faces didn't trust him, but not like Sting where we all wanted him to be a good guy. But more like a rogue agent and one who did what he wanted when he wanted. Like a more gimmicky Austin but with a mysterious side.
Then transition him into feuding with the top faces of the company, first as a tweener, then a full-on heel. Have him be a top heel with the strap.
Of course, Warrior would never have gone for this because he was a "superhero" to young kids. But even if he tweaked at least some of his character look and attitude, it may have worked. But his ego prevented that.

But in response to the above saying he's become like Flair, Hogan etc....and holding on to the spotlight? Ridiculous thing to say.
He established the main event scene in AEW in 2019. There wasn't enough guys to do that with and give the rub to the up and coming. Then he built factions to surround himself with guys to elevate. Mission accomplished (Sammy Guevara, MJF....). Now he's still working with young talent.
Is he main eventing ppvs? Is he dictating the title scene? Is he holding talent down? Is he constantly winning?
He is in no way comparable to Hogan and can only be compared to Flair's late run in WWE.
Get real.

I loved him so much as a kid when he was a face from 2000-2001. So entertaining. Then I didn't get his character after he turned heel and had the Undisputed run. Just made me really dislike the turn and couldn't get behind him as heels weren't really my thing.
I didn't get to watch much from 2004-2005 but his face turn was quite lacking IMO. Didn't have the same attitude that made me and everyone a fan from years before. Felt watered down. Then in 2007 when he returned it was like "YAY!.....Oh.... what is this?". He just wasn't it upon his return. His subsequent heel turn in 2008 may have been well-needed and great character work. But again, I just couldn't get behind it and appreciate it.
The most entertaining afterwards was the List of Jericho, f'n fantastic work. Everything after that I've been out of the loop.
But watching stuff from WCW until 2000 - I've got to see his body of work and it is fantastic. His work as a heel was amazing. So beyond what others were doing. His face work in WWF was a breath of fresh air.

Have Hart or Piper UEs hit retail yet?
I'm looking as though I'll have to import them to the UK somehow

They should have put a flamethrower and an extra head with Goldust facepaint with that series 2 HHH. Exchange flamethrower for the robe, wig and extra head with Goldust paint. He's not a Japanese woman so there's no way we're getting that level of detail

Maybe Kama the supreme fighter? That may work. Getting those tats off will be a bitch tho. There aren't any tats on the hands, unless you're looking to use the arms too?

Is there anyone with the same skintone as Ali that has taped fists? Wanna recreate this when his legends comes out or if I can get another UE cheap. Maybe Kama the supreme fighter?

I'm watching WWF shows in 2000, and noticed that since the Royal Rumble that year, they really de-emphasised Chyna's career as an in-ring performer and dialed her back to just appearances or accompanying Eddie to the ring. When she did wrestle, she wrestled most frequently in tag matches, presumably to hide her weaknesses.
But it was surprising to me how little she wrestled after her push in mid-late 1999. I didn't know/watch back then as much as I do now, so I had assumed she continued wrestling on the regular. But clearly they wanted to reduce her match frequency and I can only assume she was training behind the scenes.
Jericho and Bob Holly have both said she was green as goose **** and needed carrying completely through the match. Yet she still had experience under KK and was able to work in some capacity.
Did she improve by the time she left? I haven't watched her matches beyond mid-2000 and she didn't seem to improve all that much since the year prior, but she also didn't get a lot of match time.

TheXtremisT I don’t think the skintones would match brother. This Eddie looks to be lighter in complexion. Also, I really hope we could get a phantom Rey as an ultimate. Three heads, one neutral, one with teeth gritting and a ripped one. Accessories include open hands, gripping hands, fists, removable entrance belt, extra mask and cruiser weight belt. Would be interesting if they made a paler shade for Eddie, we'll find out eventually. But I can live with the black tape I guess. A HH97 Rey would go down so well. They need to make one and forget that they made an elite.

That Eddie looks great. Zero reason that torso shouldn't have been used for the RA He was slimmer in WCW, and didn't really look super bulky until 2002. So this torso would have still looked out of place. We basically need a new ripped torso for smaller guys. And larger and more defined arms than the smaller double jointed elbow arms, but smaller than the ones used for Warrior, Cena.... currently.

I wrote in my post that that couldn't have been the reason because he was applying the elevated version on guys right up until about 2009. Regardless of their size (not counting superheavyweights). And yet he still applied the Boston Crab to smaller guys even after 2009. So that argument doesn't hold weight. It must be something else. brother, have you ever been at the receiving end of either move? imagine taking it after years of abuse to your back, come on bro there is no conspiracy here Yes I have actually, and can honestly say that the Walls of Jericho is a lot less painful. I can't remember exactly how it felt on my neck, but in terms of the lower back - Boston Crab really packs on the pressure. So unless it f***s up your neck, I can't see the Boston Crab being gentler.

I think it all came down to his opponents getting bigger as he climbed the ranks in the WWF. The old school Lion Tamer was more doable and worked with lighter cruiserweights when he was in WCW, but I'm sure a classic Boston Crab was easier to take for most opponents especially in the WWF. because the Lion Tamer is for cruiserweights who can bend the crab is for the big fellas I wrote in my post that that couldn't have been the reason because he was applying the elevated version on guys right up until about 2009. Regardless of their size (not counting superheavyweights). And yet he still applied the Boston Crab to smaller guys even after 2009. So that argument doesn't hold weight. It must be something else.

As the title says. Always bothers me how he switched from the elevated version we knew and loved for the first 10 years or so in his WWE run, to just a standard Boston Crab. He even occasionally did a half/half Liontamer/Walls of Jericho in 2000 where he wouldn't place the knee on the head of the opponent, but would stand tilted at an angle to the opponent and not standing fully over the opponent's back. He would then switch to the elevated Boston Crab for the remainder of his WWE run until about 2010? He claimed that he stopped doing the Liontamer upon joining the WWE because of the larger opponents. So this excuse doesn't hold weight as to why he switched to the standard Boston Crab much much later.

Have we seen that vest from Hall before? Wondering if I could get one from another figure to paint black for a 2000 F.U.N.B. Hulk Hogan custom

I'd like the ring itself, but don't really need the figure or the mat or aprons, or ropes and pads for that matter. I just want to frame and planks, support pieces, posts, and steps. I can't justify the price tag for that. It is a cool look, but not something I am interested in as pictured. That's interesting as I only want those parts you don't want. But I'm in the UK so it would probably price me out to ship the ring/Bischoff over here then ship the stuff I don't need back to the US.
