These reveals bummed you out? A FTITL Stacy Keibler, an entire RA line, and an amazing UE Shawn Michaels yet you are still "disappointed." I can't imagine what they would need to do to excite/ impress you. I have absolutely zero interest in the ruthless era. I have absolutely zero interest in Stacy keibler. As far as I’m concerned the only memorable thing she ever did was give us the Vince meme. I wouldn’t want her on my shelf even if she was given to me for free. She’s a very disappointing reveal as one of our two new FTITL legends. UE Shawn is great, I’m not a big Shawn fan but yes it’s great. I never said “EVERYTHING is bad” did I? I’m a hasbro era kind of guy (88-94ish). My favourites to collect are Warrior and Bret and both got shafted HARD. Warrior, they gave us an attire I’ve wanted for years in a weird side line. Right after getting a 4th iteration of WM6 in the core lines. So that’s a massive bummer for me. Bret, below the neck they’re fine, but they’re producing worse and worse heads. Again a bummer. Not everyone has to like every reveal. Frankly that Warrior as an elite/ultimate and even reusing the Ultimate heads on Bret would have been enough to get me pumped. You may have been specifically looking for Brets and Warriors, but you can't act like these still weren't solid reveals. There may not be anything for you, but you can at least give credit where credit is due. Also, that Remco style Warrior is still awesome even if they didn't make it an UE. We've had years and years of Bret and Warrior figures. You should be happy they even had some in this reveal at all.

No company has ever seemed to nail bret’s likeness but this new head is the worst attempt yet. Between that and that Warrior being a remco style figure instead of an elite and one of our new legends being Stacey these new reveals have bummed me out lol. These reveals bummed you out? A FTITL Stacy Keibler, an entire RA line, and an amazing UE Shawn Michaels yet you are still "disappointed." I can't imagine what they would need to do to excite/ impress you.

Are there any stands for AEW figures? If not, does anyone know if these are on the way?

Not a fan. Not just him though. Edge. Taker. Any 72 year old man that they bring in and have beat the guys that we're supposed to believe are badasses. I'd believe spike dudley could go beat the shield 3 on 1 before I'd buy somebody great grandfather beating up roman reigns.
Sorry, but it is what it is. Get them old men the hell out of here. Right... a 150 lb, 51 year old Spike Dudley makes more sense... Why are you not booking for WWE?!

Current WWE: "Goldberg sucks."
IF he goes to AEW: "Goldberg is awesome!"

I'd venture to say that nothing is worse than now, and certainly not the first couple of years of the RA era. I just cringe at so much. It’s the time I stopped about 2003ish. Now is boring, but then it was embarrassing. All good though. People are always gonna have fonder memories of stuff they were brought up on. What was "embarrassing" about the Ruthless Aggression Era?

How is signing a free agent related to the “forbidden door?” Doesn’t make a lick of sense.

Honestly, everyone would be saying Vince tearing both of his quads was the worst if it didn't make for such a memorable moment and everybody knows it. There is a lot to like about the 2005 Rumble. That one is no where close to the bottom of the list.

im sick to ing death of people constantly bringing up age when it comes to wrestlers and "main eventers" let these guys live. the company is a pretty good mix of old and new, theres ALWAYS someone coming up. plenty of the older guys have loads left in the tank. being 40 years old isnt a ing death sentence, nor is it this ancient cripple can barely walk and needs dentures people in their late 30s/early 40s are in the prime of their lives. they've grown up in an era way better than anything else. wrestlers are taking better care of themselves, people are living longer. get the stigma out of here. its time to move on. i dont need the WWE to be nothing but 25 year olds. Well said.

I’m glad edge came back for a bit. But he can go away now. He really hasn’t done anything but get injured and have mediocre feuds. He can go back to being a dad. I’m fine with that. He won’t get hurt again and he can enjoy his retirement Yeah cause he didn’t have a great main event with Daniel Bryan and Roman, or a stellar feud with Seth Rollins. Definitely mediocre…

What matches did you watch? She’s a natural in the ring. She took to wrestling as quickly as Kurt Angle did. Did Nia carry her to a good match? I thought Nia and Ronda had a great match at MITB and I don’t think anyone will say it was because of Nia. Also, don’t speak for “most” mma fans. I was a huge fan of hers in the UFC. She’s the reason that womens MMA is in the UFC and brought eyes to the sport. That’s a fact. It’s ignorant to say she “can’t fight.” MMA isn’t just boxing. Just because you believe she isn’t a great striker, doesn’t mean she isnt a great fighter. And she did win three fights via TKO/ KO. I’m not going to argue that she’s not a natural heel. She is. Her season as coach of TUF proves that. Mma is not just striking. Fighting is. And I don't speak for everyone. Comment sections of public posts however, they do. Ronda gets as much heat as mcgregor, with 10% of the praise. Any person that steps into the octagon (or any mma fight) is a fighter. I’d love to see you tell them differently. And stating “public posts” isn’t proof. You’ve show no such hate, plus they’re a vocal minority. Either way, she’s a draw. You can’t deny that. You can try but you’ll fail.

Rondas run was legit as hell. She had killer matches and looked like a legit thread. So let’s rewrite history. Yay. You mean she got carried to good matches? I'll agree to that. It's happened to lots of wrestlers. Doesn't make her special. Anyone who has ever watched mma knows she can't fight. Yet they have her try to be some bad ass striker. Lol. Legit as hell. Most mma fans also hate her. Not her skills, her. She's a little pos that ran away for a year because she lost a fight. Not nursing injuries, not getting healthy...mentally dealing with the fact that she could lose. Yet wwe made her a face. She is the most natural heel since WW2. Legit as hell. But I guess I re-wrote that. I was a huge fan of hers in the UFC. go get that money i guess. Why do you sound bitter that he signed and didn't go elsewhere. It sounds like you are assuming that he ONLY stayed for the money. Is it impossible to imagine that he might actually be happy or enjoy working for WWE?

Would disagree. The personally of one Matt Cardona is that there is always an angle. You would not see any one of those Brawlers in the market as his wedding would have just taken place but they WILL land on the secondary market. As already pointed out this guy is all about supply and demand and he is totally seeking to take advantage of someone wishing to complete the MB line. People have been invested in this line for many many years. The fact that he has had it placed in special packaging is a dead giveaway that it’s something he will use to profit from. It’s ok for people to feel that is disgusting behaviour because it is. He will openly and knowingly take advance of the fanbase he will tout “share his passion for collecting” the dude is a carny through and through, and always taking advantage of Major Marks. I don’t doubt some will hit the secondary market, either from Cardona or from some of the others at the wedding (wrestlers are gonna carnie) but I just don’t buy this idea that it was some thought out scheme. Also, even if he did plan to sell them, I don’t get how it’s “disgusting.” Is it “disgusting” that Mattel completists can’t get their hands on the NFL on Fox figures or the Make-A-Wish kid or the 1-of-15 (I believe that’s the number) Warriors? There’s plenty of examples of one off or limited specialty figures that are clearly not officially part of a given line being made, and that’s clearly a category that wedding favors falls into. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to feel bad for someone who won't differentiate that wedding favors aren't a common part of the line that they collect and don't need to acquired to complete said line. Also, I must admit, I also think this is funny given that had there been a run of wedding brawlers sold to the public, people would be on here calling it "disgusting" and saying that they should have just been made as favors and not sold. But personal vendettas are going to personal vendetta I guess. These examples simply do not apply. There is a big difference between the production company itself creating a "specialty" or low-run item, versus someone creating their own figure for themselves (granted still made by the production company). Using Mattel as the example just doesn't work here. The only comparison would be Ringside through Mattel since they request and order their own exclusives, but even that situation doesn't compare. Ringside doesn't produce the figures and then pretend that they are not for sale, only to drive up demand and make up an astronomical price. Pro Wrestling Tees can decide to make a low run item (i.e. Kurt Angle limited to I believe 200), and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sure a low run item makes it hard to be a completionist, but that is part of the game. What Cardona is doing is completely different. He knows that there are people in his own community that want to complete this line, and he purposely made a limited run item and stated that it is "not for sale" to drive up the interest and the prices for himself. He is taking advantage of those people, some of which are supporters of his. That is what I personally find "disgusting." He knows what he is doing. Like I said, I listen to every episode. He brought it up on the last episode and "joked" about how quickly they will end up on eBay. Why would anyone at the wedding sell these? Most people there won't know what these are or care about them. The only people that would know are the people on the inside like Matt, Brian, and Mark so Matt is driving up the interest so they can sell them for a profit. Also, I have no "personal vendetta." I am actually a fan of the podcast and have listed to every episode. I just find his behavior here to be scummy. That is my personal belief. I don't really want to argue this further and ruin this thread. I am a fan of the podcast and of micro brawlers. I just don't like seeing him take advantage of his own fans, supporters, and fellow collectors.

Cardona knows what he is doing, and it is disgusting and disgraceful. He knows that there are completists and diehards of this line and he is creating a demand for his own wedding brawlers to gets a ridiculous amount of money from these collectors. It would be one thing if he truly made them for his wedding, but he has mentioned multiple times that he will accept offers if they meet his insane price. He tries to say that they aren't for sale and that he makes the price so high that it doesn't get met, but he shouldn't even have a price on them. He shouldn't sell them no matter how ridiculously high the offer might be. He knew this would happen and that was what he was hoping for all along. He's not stupid. He is just greedy and slimy. Why would you blame Cardona? If someone wants to pay, that is their choice. It's a Matt Cardona wedding figure -- if you NEED that, to the degree you will pay hundreds of dollars, you need therapy for addiction (yes, you can be addicted to collecting)
That’s another issue. The issue here is not the fact that these people exist. The issue is that Cardona knows these people exist (some of them are his own fans that helped make his podcast successful) and created a scenario to take advantage of them. He created figures that are “not for sale” only to make it so that the supply is so limited that people will pay obscene amounts to have them. Some people work really hard to be a completionist of a line and you technically cannot be one without this figure. He did this on purpose. Also, who uses an existing toy line to make figures of themselves for a wedding. What a mark. Many of the people going to this wedding won’t know what these things are or will not want them. Stupid idea for a wedding favor.

Nope, I follow the market still, but once I seen Marjor Pod/Cardona get involved I sold up all I had while the price was high and cashed out. I knew the line would be ruined from that point and I believe I was right. Sad really it was a fun and affordable product at one time. The fact the exclusivity got all the way to a guys wedding was and is shameful. I’m really not understanding what the issue is with the wedding favors. Havent we had an official announcement like 900 times. Steve said its a no go. Pretty sure Bill has said its a no go and RSC the #1 online figure retailer has pulled the order. the first official word we got was Tom in this thread, RSC pulled them from being ordered before that but no word. Then finally got the email about it yesterday or day before I don’t recall Bill or Steve saying anything Right… so we got “official word” from someone. It’s not like Bill is going to all of a sudden say that the figure is actually coming out. Refunds are already being issued. We don’t need any word from Bill or Steve.
