Without getting into any of the controversy or drama, has Ringside started refunding people for the chase RVD yet? That to me would be the closet thing to an official announcement no?

I don't know if refunds have begun (if not they likely will soon) but I can confirm this is no longer part of the lineup and if anything changes, it'll be made clear.
There won't be any sort 'official announcement' with this, one way or the other.

They should just go through with it anyways now that all the crocodile tears have died down. A few will eventually show up in the wild too considering how close it got to release.

This figure was pulled right before the Thanksgiving holiday which is an off day of varying degrees for different folks and at the start of a very busy holiday season so the customer service department has to, among other customer service things, catch up on getting refunds and communications out to folks, individually. When those do happen, expect the refund within 7-10 business days. It's coming. |

Sure hope they do, as I want to get one. I was incredibly excited for this figure and it’s a shame it’s not being released. Come for me if you want, idgaf. Hopefully several make it out into the wild and can be obtained. The deco is awesome on the figure and it’s one that I’d love to have. A sucker for white based attires. |

When those do happen, expect the refund within 7-10 business days. It's coming. I ordered mine with Hogan - will my whole order be cancelled, or just the RVD? |

Lesnartime on Instagram complained and somehow it got cancelled. Literally went months without anyone saying anything then he posted about it and now it’s cancelled. Depending on who you talk to some believe it was right others don’t. It’s a double edge sword. BUT it’s been made clear here we aren’t to talk about the political side of things so I’ll refrain from that. You can look at this Instagram page to see. Although I think he took his post down because he didn’t want others to see it, just wanted to be able to make stories on his account taking cheap shots that would go away after 24 hours. |

Ringside isn't going to steal people's money. They are a legitimate business. If they got word from Mattel that the figure will not be on their shipments and is cancelled, they will go through the orders and issue refunds. If someone takes 15 seconds to actually think rationally about this..... they will send you an email confirming the item was cancelled and refund your original payment. This kind of thing takes a bit of time. Ringside has a lot of actual orders they need to be shipping, plus we just got through a busy holiday weekend, etc.
They don't need to put out a formal statement explaining the situation. All someone has to do is actually think about it and they get their explanation.
What anyone should have an issue with is the entire situation surrounding this figure and the absolute ridiculousness of it being cancelled in the first place. But THAT's not going to be a "thing". It's done and over, it's not happening. Anyone who ordered it will get their money back from wherever they got it from.
