RSCTom, does the Kane have the same skin tone as the Survivor Series Kane? Thanks. I don't have the SS Kane on hand unfortunately but just looking at photos it looks close to me

Since Bundy seems really unlikely, Andre would be a great choice. If this doesn't happen I would go as far as to say it would be the biggest action figure miss of all time. There should be no expense spared in getting this done.

Batman Returns!!!!! With Andre The Giant as The Penguin!! Wow, major difference! Thanks PJ, it's appreciated as always! This is my nightmare. I'm guessing they made Batman that size to scale with fit inside the vehicles they've made. As I said earlier in the thread I was all ready to just collect 3.75 Batman movie characters of choice but the Batman that fits in the RC '89 Batmobile is significantly smaller than everything else, though I haven't stood him next to this Penguin which I also have. Because of this I went out and got the McFarlane stuff which I don't dislike at all but the Batmobile is so big, I just can't handle having this many giant figures around at this point in life, it gets overwhelming for me personally. I had also purchased some of the DC Multiverse figures ('89 Batman and Unmasked '89 Batman) and neither of them come close to fitting inside the Batmobile. Looking forward to the '89 Spin Master figure and hoping it kind of takes care of this for me but I'm still hoping it scaled well with this Penguin. Whatever it is you're trying to figure out, don't drive yourself crazy like I have.

On one hand, it could be cool. Possibly more value for consumers, their dollar could go further in perceived value. Lotsa paths that would seemingly be too risky or costly for their 7" line. On the other, it puts Jazwares on another branch people will constantly be trying to bring down. Demand would have to be a concern. Would AEW products that only have themselves to scale with perform nearly as well as the current 7" figs that have a decent well of crossover applications? This is kind of probably what would stop it. If Mattel was doing 3.75 you can bet Jazwares would be, but since they aren't it doesn't really make sense. That said, I reiterate the fact that everyone should do it, but since Mattel is very successful with their 7" line that covers that same level of detail I don't see it happening.

The older I get the more I like the detail, depth and effort in 3.75 lines. It's a lot better than back in the day. I'm a fan.

The fact that Tom felt the need to explain himself. 🤦♂️ Just keep doing your job, man. Thanks but that's part of the job and the challenge of the Q&A, right? It's been the first time in a long time, if ever, that the Q&A has brought real hostility as opposed to just frustration so I felt obligated to reiterate some of it. Until everyone really just accepts what it is or until it changes, I think it's just something I'll have to do.

I like the Q&A. I never want to see it go away. I forgot to get my Q in on time this year, but I actually like that we can get you guys to prod Mattel for more information. If there’s any issue with Q&A it’s that there are still people who post nothing but questions like “Will we see this specific wrestler in the line?” knowing full well they won’t give an answer on a specific wrestler if there’s nothing to show visually. So people waste their opportunity instead of asking something more vague that can be answered like, “Will we see more ECW representation?” “Will we see the late WCW tag titles again?” But at the same time if I ask a long list of questions I have like “Are you allowed to make modern interviewers and commentators?” “Will Mattel ever make scale barricades?” “Can you introduce set pieces to the Wrekkin’ line?” that they can give definitive answers to, it’s unfair if 5 of my questions get asked and none of someone else’s questions get asked. But then too many people are determined to waste their chance to ask, “Can you make Raven?” They’ll make him if they can and you know that! It's a fair point and one of the challenges with it. Especially with people who aren't on the boards, questions are almost always 'when will we get so-and-so' and even beyond that, almost every question can be vetoed at any time, even if it's just a normal one that seems like it could work. Technical questions about part choices or skin tones also just can be hit or miss. I wish I had better answers for everyone.

I think you do an awesome job and I'm very sorry if I made you mad regarding The Steiner Brothers. The fact that people are calling you names is uncalled for and they should be banned too!! Thanks for everything that you do Tom, you're my second favorite source behind my buddy at the toy shop!!! It's appreciated, you have no obligation to apologize to me, I am not bothered by you as an individual or even the discussion in general...it's more when something gets excessive to the point of it being spammed and repeated, with new threads created, even though answers have been given. When folks try to sway the universe (at least that's the feeling I get from it) by just anxiously repeating something over and over again until it magically creates an answer they want, that's when I start to just get tired of it.

Those Q&As are a massive waste of time. Why do they even field the questions that won't be answered? Why do you all continue to ask the same pointless questions that can't be answered? Etc etc You know what to expect, you're welcome to skip it, and as I've said multiple times this is something that I've tried to come up with a decent replacement for but the fact that it's been grandfathered in is a gift (I know what to expect at work) and a curse (it's almost impossible to come up with something fresh here, but I'm trying). As I've also said multiple times I think these happen too frequently and I have tried to make them more infrequent but it has not come to fruition and that is not something I can control.

I’m not sure why Tom was being so snarky at the women’s figure question. I think generally Mattel does a great job getting out women’s figures but at the same time the question was totally fair considering there were 10 women shown out of hundreds of other figures. They were mostly women we have already seen in the line before as well. Snarky isn't the right word but fine, even if that was the case, the women's ratio/issue has been explained now multiple times. Not only are women's figure collectors spamming all our social pages as if that's going to somehow improve a situation that simply can't be improved without unquestionable organic growth (see: Rhea Ripley), they're now in my dm's calling me a 'f*** sexist pig'. I know it's not everyone, but it's still exhausting, embarrassing (as both a wrestling fan AND a toy collector) and just not something I need in my life. Needless to say with the above I feel no obligation to do anything other than roll my eyes and get annoyed with the extensive repetition and the fact that there is 0 answer that can be given that will please everyone, and the funny thing is it has nothing to do with the fact that it's about women. I feel the same type of annoyance with the Steiner questions which have also been explained and answered multiple times. To come to the forums and talk things to death, even with unnecessary attitudes is fine, but when it bleeds out into situations where I can't avoid it like my social media account or the RSC accounts, I'm not going to put up with it. Even with all that, I gave it the pedestal to even be discussed by using one of the women's questions so it's probably best that people interested in that topic take what they can get at the moment instead of irritating the issue further.

RSCTom were there not any decent design specific questions? I know you don’t want to come across as antagonistic in these things but there very limited opportunities to get answers from Bill in regards to part choices. Every time anyone brings it up here Steve says that’s a question for Bill. I’m sure there’s a way to bring it up in a nice professional manner. As you referenced, typically I try to get some design questions in. I had a couple of good ones...both vetoed. Out of my hands. It is not, never has been, and never will be something I'm ignoring. Them's just the breaks sometimes.

It should help, I am more or less providing you with a hugely unnecessary winking eye to the fact that eventually you will find out more. If your entire weekend was ruined after seeing how many other things are coming out and the fact that figures need to be slotted at certain times as we've all known, always, with every line and so for certain things we have to wait, I can't help you Excuse me Mr Tom! But some of us round these parts are really really slow! And frankly, I don't see what EXCLUSIVE information you, as an employee of RINGSIDE COLLECTIBLES, could ULTIMATEly provide regarding Mattel making us the STEINER BROTHERS toys we've been begging for for the last year or TWO- So how about you PACK it in, and go work on planning this year's RINGSIDE FEST! While I enjoyed this it is inaccurate
