Came across a weird glitch last night...wondering if it's a common one. On my Survivor Series card in universe I booked Sami Zayn w/ Kevin Owens vs. Pete Dunne. However the match would only load to a certain point and then not complete in order to play the match. I tried this 3 or 4 times before I changed the match. Now in my Universe Pete Dunne and Sami Zayn both hold custom championships. I'm thinking the reason this wasn't working is because for whatever reason the game couldn't handle two custom title holders being in the same match. Has anyone experienced anything similar to that? Since the patch, most custom championships don't work in Universe, and if you try to load a match containing any champion with a custom championships, there's a much better chance of the game refusing to load the match than actually doing so.

That Paige looks great. Such a shame it won't be available in the UK, especially given:
A) This was displayed in the UK. B) She's a British star.
Such a crapty tactic to show off product that the people seeing it in person will not be able to purchase without looking internationally. Something has got to be done about these damn shop exclusives. Why don't they just put them in the main line and make them available to all, rather than blocking off a portion of their customers? I don't care about "shops order these themselves and demand exclusivity!". In that case, they should just make some minor changes and put the variation in the main line. Bam, different figure! I'm sure there must be SOMETHING that Mattel can do to make these products available to all, even if they do have to make some changes. They just choose not to.

Films:
Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them 2 (I'll be waiting for the Blu-Ray release most likely, rather than going to the cinema) Fighting with my Family (REALLY excited for this, will be going to watch at the cinema at the earliest opportunity) The Lion King remake (Lion King is one of my favourite films of all time, and I am really intrigued by how they achieve it with live action)
TV:
Victoria Series 3 - January Lord of the Rings Amazon Prime TV Show Chronicles of Narnia Netflix TV Show
Video Games:
Warcraft III: Reforged - Warcraft 3 is my all time favourite video game, and the remaster looks fantastic! Super excited, more so than most things I've ever been excited for.

Anybody else who preordered a little disappointed that the first DLC is stuff we already HAVE? Not at all. It's the expectation every year that the pre-order DLC will eventually be released for purchase by all, because that's the norm. I don't mind that at all. I pre-ordered so I could play as Rousey and Mysterio on release, rather than having to wait a month. Not to worry either, we'll almost certainly have the Titans Pack releasing within the next few weeks, and probably a bit earlier than that too.

Although I wholeheartedly disagree with your idea to cut Nia Jax, I do think it's a good idea for a thread. I too am a big fan of women's wrestling, much so than the men's, and I eagerly await the decision to make an all-women's brand. It's going to happen eventually. The women's roster just continues to swell.
But who would I cut? Although I would never hope for anyone to lose their job, if we have to imagine we're in the position to make hard decisions, I think the following would be eligible as the weakest members of the roster in my opinion:
- Alicia Fox: She's been on the roster for over 10 years, and still has horrendous acting ability, her offense looks shockingly weak, and she still wrestles like a diva.
- Aliyah: She's been on NXT's roster for years now, and has yet to do anything consistent or meaningful.
- Dana Brooke: I'd happily keep her as enhancement talent, but I could never see her going above that.
- Natalya: I know, a lot of people would probably be upset with this one, but I just honestly have never been interested in anything Natalya has done. I've never been emotionally invested in her at all, and I doubt I ever will be.
- Sarah Logan: I'd definitely keep her as long as the Riott Squad remains together. But if they were to ever split, I don't think I'd know what to do with her.
- Sonya Deville: We have Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler for the MMA style wrestlers. I'm not a fan of MMA at all, I think it's a really boring style, so the less wrestlers in that role, the better.
- Tamina: Although I think perhaps she just hasn't been given the spotlight in any meaningful way, I can't remember a single memorable thing that Tamina has ever done. I honestly don't have a strong opinion on her one way or the other, and that's bad. However, her newly-formed partnership with Nia Jax does sound intriguing, so I could change my mind on this one.

While I do agree with Nikki's opening statements that a lot of fans do not give her the respect that I feel she has earned, it's her comments on the term "diva" that had me mentally facepalming. I understand that she and her contemporaries in the Diva Era tried to do as much as they could. But what she is failing to realise, is that no matter how hard they worked, there was too much going against them to ever reach the potential that women's wrestling has. The main reason why "diva" is regarded as a negative term now (and rightly so), is because the women were purposefully improperly trained. Management and trainers didn't want them to be successful wrestlers. They just wanted them to look good, slap, and pull hair. Women were hired based solely on looks rather than wrestling ability. That is not the way it should ever have been. I would never discredit any of the divas who worked hard, because they were not given the tools to be successful. They were deliberately discouraged from wrestling to a competent level, so they would never be able to wrestle on the same level as the male portion of the roster. But at the same time, "diva" is absolutely a negative term, because it refers to a period of time in which the female performers were not trained competently, were not given enough screen time to develop anything meaningful, and were actively discouraged from showing competent wrestling ability. It should not be regarded as a positive era, despite the efforts of the performers involved. I think Nikki is absolutely wrong in this regard. And given that her stepfather allegedly told AJ Lee that she would never succeed because she "wasn't able", I don't think she should be glorifying the Divas Era at all. And I don't know why she implied that she and Brie deserve credit for starting the women's revolution. AJ Lee didn't. Paige and Emma didn't. The Four Horsewomen didn't. Nobody did it single-handedly, and I don't believe that anyone should be given sole credit. It was a gradual team effort. Trish and Lita were good enough to main event RAW. AJ Lee was popular enough to warrant getting the first women's t-shirt design in years. Triple H saw the mistreatment and saw enough potential in women's wrestling to start making the transition to giving them the same opportunities as the male roster. Sara Amato was brought in to start training the female wrestlers to wrestle to a high standard. Paige and Emma had the first overwhelmingly well received women's match in many years. The Four Horsewomen had multiple overwhelmingly well received matches. Those are the key figures in the past couple of decades. All of them deserve credit for playing their part. Unfortunately for Nikki and Brie, they are not key figures.

No. I still really do not see the need for crusierweights to have their own brand at all. Why shouldn't they be on the NXT, SmackDown Live & RAW rosters?

Has anybody ever emailed WWE Euroshop and actually gotten a response? I've emailed them a few times to inquire about product availability, but have never gotten a single reply. It is a bit annoying to see products up on WWE Shop, and then play the waiting game to see if they turn up on the Euroshop.

I really love the annual brand warfare concept. Last year's November was amazing. So I for one am very happy that they look like they're doing that again.
I'm already sold on the entire PPV with Ronda VS Becky. Obviously there's no way they'll have Becky beat Ronda unfortunately, but I at least hope that Becky looks strong.

They chant you deserve to everyone nowadays... The same way they chant “This is awesome” to every match that runs over 15 minutes Or 'you've still got it,' for someone gone for a while, when they hadn't even done anything yet. Even taking into account how overused certain chants are, if a large section of the crowd chants "you deserve it" to a single individual, it means that the audience have still engaged with that superstar and become invested in them. And that's what pro wrestling is all about. So clearly they must have done something right, all by themself.

I'm not going to start quoting individual posters, but I've got an honest question to pose to those few who I've seen claim that Nia Jax is only in the WWE and winning matches like last night because of her family relations: when you hear entire crowds chanting "you deserve it" at one individual superstar, is that not enough proof that they've gotten where they are on their own merits?

Didn't fans at one point start chanting 10 for every second someone was out of hte ring when Dillinger had a more prominent role on TV? I know they chanted 10 at him, and when he does the 10 punch every punch is 10. I just swear I remember fans chanting 10 each time the ref made a count for an outside count. They were definitely still doing it when I last attended a WWE event last November. I hope they've stopped now.

I thought it was amazing! Third best PPV of the year for me, after Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. The women definitely delivered and more, giving a big "FU" to creative and management, who obviously did not treat this show as it deserved to have been treated heading in. The women persevered, showing exactly why they deserved to have had good stories heading in.
First off, I loved the stage setup. The stages we've seen for SSD and now Evolution are exactly what WWE should do for every PPV. Instead of reusing the exact same stage design down to the same exact detail for the 50th time, they should just rearrange the basics of the design. They don't need to build big set pieces like they used to, but unique simplistic designs work better than what we usually get every month.
To start with, I felt that Trish/Lita VS Mickie/Alicia was a really good match to start off the show. It felt incredibly nostalgic in the best way possible. I'm glad they gave Alexa a promo before the match. I assumed that they wouldn't allow her to do anything physical in the match, so I was really glad to see her get physically involved. I was slightly hesitant on whether Trish or Lita would still be able to perform, and they showed that they absolutely can. Although it did detract slightly, not even Alicia's badly mistimed pinfall break-up at the end wasn't enough to ruin this match.
The battle royal was much better than expected. Although I'm disappointed that they didn't add in some surprise entrants, I feel that the women put on a pretty good match, which is really difficult and rare for a battle royal. There were some really good spots. Though I felt like the Carmella dance break spot felt really out of place. That stuff is good for Mixed Match Challenge and the occasional weekly show. But on a PPV? Nah. Although I feel that Ember needed this win more than Nia, I'm a big fan of Nia Jax, so I'm happy regardless. Plus, I think Nia stands a much better chance against Ronda Rousey than Ember. I just hope that they do eventually build Ember up to be a star.
Unfortunately, I think the MYC2018 Final was underwhelming. I expected a long, epic match. But it seemed to be over really quickly. While I think Toni and Io did the best they could with the time they were given, and to be fair I think this was still a solid match, I think they should have had a bit more time allotted to them. I was really shocked that Toni Storm won it. I fully expected that Io Shirai would win the MYC, and Toni Storm would lose, but go onto win the NXT UK Women's Championship. Bit confused as to why they didn't book it that way, but then again that's not my job.
Sasha Banks/Bayley/Natalya VS The Riott Squad was excellent! I knew this would end up amazing due to the amazing talents in this match, but I wasn't expecting how brutal it ended up being. I love both teams, and I'm glad that Sasha/Bayley got the win, but I think the Riott Squad still came out looking phenomenal in this match. Although technically Sasha/Bayley/Natalya got the victory, and looked great doing it, I think the Riott Squad proved how good they can be in this match. I hope this leads to a Riott Squad push. This match stole the show in my opinion.
Shayna Baszler VS Kairi Sane was honestly a match I was dreading beforehand, because it was obvious what was going to happen, and it did. Unfortunately Shayna's MMA friends got involved and cost Kairi the match. However with my emotional disappointment aside, this was actually a good match, and Kairi still looked great and super resilient. And given that Shayna is a heel and it's her job to get the audience to hate her, she's definitely doing her job right in that regard, even if it's mostly because I find her MMA style super boring.
As if they actually took a couple of minutes to promote Crown Jewel! They couldn't let the women and fans of women's wrestling have their moment?! "Having fun watching the historic first ever all women's WWE PPV? Well let us waste time telling you about yet another all men's PPV in which women are banned!". Disgusting choice by management, really. At least men were still involved with Evolution, with Michael Cole on commentary and the commentary team thanking male staff for their support on numerous occasions.
Becky Lynch VS Charlotte Flair was a really good match. Although I'm a big fan of both women, I was worried that they'd have Charlotte win. There were a couple of moments throughout in which it looked to be the case, but thankfully it was not, and the champ stays champ. I think it was a really well crafted match, and the botched table spot lead to an awesome Swanton Bomb from Charlotte, so that worked out better in my opinion. In the end, Becky proved that she is here to stay, and both women proved why this was the real main event.
Nikki Bella VS Ronda Rousey went pretty much as expected. It was a solid match. It was really nice at the end to see all the women on the stage. And I loved that they put a highlights video package together at the end. We usually only see those once a year at WrestleMania, so it was really nice to see one put together for Evolution.
In conclusion, I absolutely loved this PPV. Mostly good booking decisions, and the women proved why women's wrestling deserves to be taken as seriously as men's wrestling. The only thing I found disappointing was that there were no surprise returns in the show. I feel that the most memorable PPVs are ones with shock returns. For example, the Hardy Boyz's return at WrestleMania 33 instantly made that one of my favourite WrestleManias. Although I knew the chances were incredibly low, I was still hoping for a shock AJ Lee return. Ah well, I can't hold that against them. Even so, it would have been nice to have had at least one shock return. But like I said, the women definitely delivered. Hopefully we have more all women's events to come.

Despite the atrocious build on WWE's part, I really hope the women put on absolutely amazing performances tonight, showing management why they were wrong to not treat this as they should have done. This was supposed to be a huge step in the women's division, but I can't remember a PPV that has felt more irrelevant. Until a couple of weeks ago, everything was focused on Super Showdown. Now it's split between Evolution and Crown Jewel.
To start off positively, the one rivalry match they got right with this PPV is Becky VS Charlotte in a Last Woman Standing match. The feud of Becky VS Charlotte has been excellent, and easily the best thing going on WWE right now. But it's clear that it's not going to main event, but it really deserves to. While they've built Ronda/Nikki up better than I expected, its still not something I'm particularly invested in.
The Mae Young Classic 2018 Finals match is going to be fantastic.
The Riott Squad VS Sasha, Bayley & Natalya is very underwhelming, because we've seen it a million times on RAW. I understand that they didn't know if Sasha would have recovered in time, but I think they could have done a far better job building this match up. There doesn't feel like there is any story going into this match at all. Regardless, I'm sure all six women are going to do their best to put on the best match they can. Sasha, Bayley, Ruby and Liv are all phenomenal talents, so I'm sure this match will be great, even if the story (or lack thereof) wasn't.
Kairi VS Shayna is honestly a match that I'm dreading. I think it's been made pretty clear in the past month or two that Shayna's MMA friends are going to debut and ruthlessly annihilate Kairi. I don't want to see that happen. I love Kairi, and I can't stand Shayna.
The Trish/Alexa feud started with one episode of build-up over a month ago, weeks after being officially announced. Then nothing for a few weeks. And the build-up since has been poor, mainly because Trish is very wooden on the mic these days. There was no feud at all between Mickie and Lita before they changed it to a tag match. Now that Alexa is out of the match, the main selling point of the match is gone. Instead of past vs present, it's veterans vs older veterans. With Alicia Fox now replacing Alexa Bliss, I think this match will suffer as a result. I can only hope that Trish and Lita are capable of delivering a great match.
The battle royal is a complete joke. This PPV should have featured the best matches possible. Yet a lot of fantastic talents that deserved singles matches have been thrown into a battle royal. Given the nature of a battle royal, there's no way to make this a great match, at least not until near the end. So a lot of talent wasted in this match.
In conclusion, I'm sure the women will do their best to put on the best matches that they can, but WWE have done a really horrendous job of building up this PPV.

Well, Fox is a huge downgrade from Bliss, but I suppose the only choice that makes sense, given that Fox has associated herself with Bliss lately. Despite my criticisms of how Bliss has been used by creative, she deserved to be on the card, and it's a real shame that she'll have to miss out. But the show must go on.

After over a year of burying the RAW women's division, it's about time! AJ lee was worse, and Its not Bliss its booking, all they need is to book her more as a chickencrap heel. AJ Lee's superpush was at a time where she was far above anyone else in the division, which is not the situation we have with Bliss. And yes, of course it's absolutely creative's fault. But that doesn't change the fact that the character of Alexa Bliss was used to make the rest of the division look like crap and render them no longer credible as champion material. Now that Bliss' character was exposed by Rousey's character at Summerslam, I think it's long overdue that Bliss gets a taste of her own medicine as comeuppance.

Usually every year they announce superstar signings to take place in the UK during the WWE UK tour. However we're very close to the tour, and I've yet to see any signings announced. Have I missed them, or are they not doing any this year?

Yeah, I really don't know how I feel about Gargano turning heel either. He's such a popular babyface, he's like the NXT version of Daniel Bryan. Could you ever imagine them turning Daniel Bryan heel again? Because I sure can't, and I feel the same way for Gargano. He just seems like a pure babyface, his theme sounds pure babyface (and I really love his theme, I wouldn't be happy if they replaced it). He's someone who I wanted to see go on a long journey of chasing the title as a beloved babyface and then finally winning it, on a similar path as Sami Zayn went on in NXT. Now, that's not going to happen. I honestly just don't know what they can do with heel Johnny Gargano, because I can't see him as anything other than a pure babyface. But I'm invested in Johnny Gargano as a character, so I'm interested to see where they take him next.
