That's definitely the UE 18 Macho Man. How he got it, probably stolen from the factory is my assumption. That person appears to have several not released/canned figures. I just saw the unreleased Ali he has. I better delete my post so I donโt get in trouble for posting about it. ...which Ali is/was that? |

Okayโฆ can we all just understand there was a small window of time they both had the bangs when they had returned on SD. Then they were off tv and Jimmy no longer had the bangs. They are twins, so with the goofed up hair on the scans, they are going to look very similar. Theyโll eventually get a Jimmy headscan out without the bangs. A shame it wasnโt on the ultimate, but we all saw the scan a loooooong time ago and those who chose to purchase did and those who didnโt didnโt. Can we all stop constantly complaining about this now?Nope. This is Mattel's premium WWE line, at premium prices... it's a beyond-stupid error that should have been fixed or sorted out before the figures made it into production. Sure, people can choose not to purchase them... but that's missing the point: these are likely the Uso's only UE figures and people want to purchase them. And to then add salt into the wound by making the belts dull - when they originally showed them as being shiny/VAC... it's just a kick in the teeth. People should complain. |

They are niche, but they also made a number terrible decisions that ruined the line when they first brought it back. They brought the failure on to themselves, I still donโt think they listen to what the hardcore fans want from this line, and when thereโs so few per year it makes it incredibly frustrating when they waste a space on someone like Mohamed Ali when they know pretty much everyone is crying out for a Heenan for example. I would happily pay more for their figures if they put more effort in to them. I would prefer them to get rid of the action features that letโs be honest are not really needed by grown men in favour of them using the cost it takes up on better tooling or putting more detail in the figures. That's the thing though... by the sounds of it, even us Retro collectors want different things from the line (personally, I love Ali's inclusion!). But some want a continuation of the Hasbro line... some want re-do's of Hasbro figures... some want only all-new figures... some only want Hasbro era figures... some want Attitude and RA figures etc etc... It's going to be extremely difficult to please most people. FWIW though - since the relaunch (apart from the orange card/Series 3 set), I think they're doing very well with the figures choices. |

I feel like Mattel has definitely underutilized releasing flashback figures of Edge. Seems like a no brainier to release as many flashbacks as you can while he was still actively wrestling. Instead we have gotten so many Bret Harts (with fugly sculpts) and SCSA figures lately- two wrestlers that pretty much wore the same attire (different combos for Bret). If his contract isn't renewed (IMO I think they are gonna let him go to AEW to milk them for money/reunite with Christian), then hopefully he signs a Legends deal or renews it if he has a separate deal. Did they ever release an Edge to go along with E20 Christian?Only as a Basic (the Wrestlemania battle-pack with Jeff Hardy). |

I donโt understand how people are struggling to see the clear difference in the heads. Thatโs clearly Jimmy Uso. The only remaining issue is that they kept the bangs that he had for suuuuuuch a short period of time during his return 3 years ago. The face is clearly Jimmy. The hair is still an issue. Itโs way better than the previous elites that look much more like Jey. ? That face is clearly Jey, regardless of the hair... even Jimmy himself said so, lol.  It's so clearly Jey, I'm going to trim/cut the bangs on mine (when I get them) and use them as Jey... it's a better likeness than his own heads. |

They are clearly both Jey Uso headscans and he brushed it under the carpet. He's definitely getting one of those UE18 Macho Kings in the mail from Mattel. People are splashing out premium prices for a clear error release. They should have been recalled. And here is a supposedly "credible" YouTube influencers hardly touching on it. Something's up there. And if there isn't he did himself no favours for people to think that there isnt. Bret O Live also said you could tell the difference definitely sent these by Mattel ...those "Jimmy" heads look more like Jey than the actual Jey heads... ๐คฆโโ๏ธ |

The CC line is based off of LJN figures/the attire that the LJN figure is based off of. Yes if Warrior is in the CC collection youโre basically just getting the WM5 attire but orange trunks instead of yellow ...yay - another orange trunks Warrior... ๐ฅด I'm OK if the CC figures don't have the exact attires of the LJN figures... as long as the attire is from around that '84-'89 time period. eg. Warrior is in blue trunks on his LJN poster - and white trunks on his card-back photo. |

The thing is, with Smyths charging us ยฃ8 more ($10+ USD) for Legends, no-one is going to buy them at that price (they're already having to discount some) - and then they'll stop carrying the line and use the old excuse of "we tried, but..." ๐คฆโโ๏ธ.
Why not just charge the same as Elites (ยฃ19.99) in the first place? Or even something like ยฃ21.99/ยฃ22.99. I guess I'd just like to know where/how they get their crazy RRP... especially as online and specialist stores have them quite a bit cheaper (...usually, it's the other way 'round).
