I’m sure it’ll be a great figure, but I’m not too keen on paying more for it because of fancy packaging. Mattel could throw it in an Elite box for all I care and I’d be just as happy getting it for $22.99 + tax, as opposed to whatever Mattel Creations will charge for it. ...but then you don't get the added "Russian Roulette" excitement of whether your order will actually be fulfilled or not... 🤭 |

Seeing as a photo shoot was done, I’d love it if Toronto-gear Edge was made, possibly put in the Defining Moments line he would have to resign for that to be possible. his contract ends in September Really wish they'd give us a Ruthless Aggression Ultimate Edition while they still can... |

This is what I'm doing... I've already bought a recent(ish) Uso's battle-pack for the Jimmy head - and will probably buy the new Elite Jimmy if the head is different/good. Not to mention, I'm buying 2 sets of 2 shiny/Vac tag-titles to put with them too... By the time I've finished correcting Mattel's mistakes (or doing what they should have done), I probably could have bought this UE set twice over... 🥴 That battle pack Jimmy really is the one to go for but even when I bought just the loose figure, it still cost me 30 bucks. I see on the bay that he's now gone up to 40 before shipping. If they don't start making proper Jimmy heads, that figure is going to start to become difficult to come by. As it is, getting a set of VAC tag belts to put on the Usos at this point would cost you far more than the actual 2-pack of figures. I just looked on the bay and couldn't even find a single listing for a pair of the Smackdown ones. I think there was one listing that had it in a group and it was about 100 bucks. Them refusing to release the VAC titles again is absurd. It can't be hard. I don't know why they aren't. Is there a reason? have they ever given a reason why they are allergic to releasing the shiny belts again? I really want to know.It must be a cost/budget issue, as the new UE Orton has a VAC belt and it's exactly the same as the red Uso one. Dull belts just look SO cheap (and unacceptable!) with UE figures... I'd actually rather them not include the shirts or something if it meant the belts could be VAC'd. |

Maybe Jimmy does have bangs, but his hair is always slicked back, even during matches. Plus, all of the recent face scans look more like Jey. I'm pretty sure that they used Jey's picture reference by mistake to make Jimmy more than once. They took a Jey headsculpt & added long hair in the back. It just sucks not to get a true Jimmy at Ultimate Edition prices. I'll get the Ultimate Editions & hope a better Jimmy head scan comes out in the future to make a head swap. This is what I'm doing... I have the Elite 28 Bray, the RSC Firefly Funhouse Bray and the 2 Ultimate Fiends... just a month or two ago, I bought the Elite 77 Fiend too for the head-lantern to put with the UE7 figure (it's the only thing that was missing for the complete Fiend experience!). At the same time, I also bought the Elite 85 Bray for Huskus The Pig Boy... I put him with his other friends in the RSC Firefly Funhouse Bray. I love that set, lol.

Hey Steve -
I was just wondering if Mattel Creations could offer to ship items (especially exclusive items) in a larger box... even if it costs a few dollars more?
I've just received my Ali figure - and the shipping box was quite battered and had nasty knocks on 2 of the corners... and as the figure-box is packed so tightly against it, it too has the nasty knocks. I think if an expensive or premium item is being sent - particularly overseas - then just sending it in the Mattel shipping box offers very little protection(?)

It's gotta be the next red/yellow ultimate coming IMHO. Hopefully so, sweet hotdog tan, three new heads and I don't care what else and I'll be a happy camper. Like the 3-pack one - but with a tan, at least 2 new heads, the red/bold Hulkamania shirt, and undisputed title... Take my money! |

I would go for the new Hulk Hogan three pack lower, Amazon Hogan UE top with a repainted beard. Then use the Undisputed belt from either Eddie Guerrero or Brock Lesnar. You can also add a Austin knee brace. Thinking about it, I still don't think we have the definitive Hogan head from that era. The Jakks weightbelt would be the icing on the cake. Sounds like a good recipe. Unfortunately, we don't have the definitive shirt from this era either (red with bold/yellow Hulkamania). If you can hold off a while, I'm pretty certain we'll get a HSR Ultimate Edition sooner or later... |

People just will not learn. Stop preordering mattel wrestling figures. ...wasn't this a made-to-order figure though? (ie. they made the amount that people ordered). I really don't know how they can run-out or not fulfill orders 🤦♂️. |

Still, this is an awesome set... I'm pleased the "frosted" film peels off the windows, so they're clear (I didn't see this mentioned in YouTube reviews?). If this doesn't win "best packaging" in the year-end awards, I don't know what will...

Interesting that so many of us in the UK are still waiting - have we been aware of Creations sending out "international" orders substantially later than US orders before? I guess US companies in general probably prioritise US orders over others; I'd argue that they should do the opposite: i.e. since we outside the US have to naturally wait longer for products to arrive then companies should send-out orders to international paying customers first so they arrive around the same time as the US orders. And the same for UK companies, etc. Having a longer delivery time combined with a longer shipping time seems cruel  But for Creations to have not shipped international orders a month later seems a little out of the ordinary for them? I mean... they already f#@k us over on prices and import fees, so they may as well f#@k us over on delivery times too... 🙄 |

I ordered as soon as it went up but have still had no shipping notice. Has anyone else UK-based had their set yet? I want two of them to display loose in both sets of gloves 🤦🏻♂️ I bought 3 lol. Going to keep one as-is with gray gloves. Make a later gray glove custom (a-La the Raw 3-pack figure) and a purple gloved custom. Yeah... I don't know whether to buy another set to make an UE purple-gloved Taker - it seems to be a pretty easy fix-up/swap with his Legends S9 figure(?). |
