Keep up the good work RSC Tom I personally think its a good q&a session. Me too, I always appreciate them. It seems it's popular these days to bash any Q&A session though - especially if a particular question you want isn't asked/answered... 🤷♂️

If Goldust were still available I’d love to see a generations there pack like the upcoming rock, high chief, and Johnson pack with dusty, Goldust, and Cody That would be awesome. Really hope Dustin signs some sort of Legends deal one day... an UE Goldust would be great too.

It never felt like fun to me. The new Gen arena felt like a community and like we were all in on a cool thing for macho man and doink especially. Imagining 11000 would pay 400 plus shipping for a jeans ultimate warrior was ludicrous. I never liked the way they pitched it and sam roberts involvement. It was a big ask for a big set of something that was cool 25 years ago. That's just it though - people bought it/were hyped for the figures... very few seemed excited (or AS excited) by the actual ring and entrance thing. Same with the Nitro stage... while the stage alone appealed to a few people, most were talking about the figures and what was right or wrong with them. That's why I think most crowd-funding wrestling items are probably destined to fail... it's a FIGURE based hobby/community. And anything outside of the actual figures has a very limited appeal.

I love how people are saying this set is a "disaster" and how poorly it has sold... without actually knowing how many sets were made, lol. And no doubt if the set had sold out immediately, people would be complaining too 🤷♂️. All the other sets sold out in one day. This one has been on sale 10 days 🤷. Think they made 10 times as many Ali? Lol ...that's Steiner math, lol. They could have made, say 3-4K of the others... and 10K of this one. Just because the others sold out in one day at 3-4K, doesn't mean they'd have sold out at 10K.

...because Mattel couldn't possibly have seen the complaints of the last couple of years and made higher quantities(?). Nah, easier just to say it's a "failure" I guess. Honestly, some people are never satisfied - they complain when things sell-out... then complain when things don't sell-out. You couldn't make it up 🤦♂️. Bro Do you know Sargent has Gijoe fan following... If the company has underproduced that exclusive, then they are absolutely smoking something. It's not about production... It's failure of their idea. Don't try to defend them. Sarge was already under contract to WWE though... and had been for years. Maybe they made far more of Ali, as he is a new/big name... ie. why go to the trouble of signing a new name, make TWO brand new Ultimates of him (with new tooling) - then make it in similar low quantities and leave money on the table? We just don't know.

I came on to say along the same lines. I think each side of the argument is right; Mattel likely made more units of this set so as to not sell out quickly (a la the last 3 SDCCs), but also the demand for Ali wasn't as high. Even Chuckles on the 'bro side took awhile to sell out. It’s pretty obvious that they didn’t make anymore sets than normal for a SDCC fig because if they could make more we would have already had rereleases of Slim Jim, Sgt Slasher and No holds barred. It’s 2023 and Mattel doesn’t care about collectors that enjoy the value of rare figs. It’s just a lame fig this year that nobody wanted or asked for.

How delusional people are here... If something fails then they try to shadow the failure of mattel by saying the thing was produced in higher number 😆 ...because Mattel couldn't possibly have seen the complaints of the last couple of years and made higher quantities(?). Nah, easier just to say it's a "failure" I guess. Honestly, some people are never satisfied - they complain when things sell-out... then complain when things don't sell-out. It’s a lousy set, and I’m glad I passed on it. Low effort this time around when compared to SDCC exclusives from the past. Completely disagree - I think it's a fantastic set... the boxing gear Ali (with robe and the snarling head) in particular is superb. And the packaging is phenomenal. Probably the best (or my favourite) SDCC exclusive to date.

If they're doing another UE Kane, I don't really want another masked/AE version (we've already had 2)... give me an UE bald Kane, like his Elite S4 figure!

Been begging for this shirt in cloth form for years and we gets it on a basic. Lol This would actually make a great UE figure too... we need another UE Austin.

Really wish Eddie's shirt was different... not the picture (I think it's a licencing issue), but the actual design: the top should be larger and cover his shoulders (...it wasn't a tight vest 🤦♂️). It would also cover the large torso better.

They’d want to put an anchor like Austin or something but outside of that a UE Mr McMahon, UE Shane (When he purchased WCW) then a FTITL like a Gangrel or Val Venis would get the RAW stage done. They should have gone with that after we already had the ring and I still think it would be way more popular than the nitro. Chances of it happening very slim now though. The reality is though, you'd probably only be getting 2 guaranteed figures... and the whole thing would cost $500-$600. Would enough people (5k) be willing to pay that? I don't think so. Plus, with the bat-$h!t way Mattel do it, huge items like this are always going to be much more expensive for international buyers - which limits the potential market even further.

Hey Steve... couple of quick questions:
- will the RSC Ultimate Edition Uso's come with shiny/vac titles?
- will the MNW UE Piper come with the correct red/chequered kilt?
Thanks 😊

The fact that Mattel is even trying to say that "The Sultan" & "Fake Diesel" are FTITL Figs is a joke it's self. It's freaking Kane & Rikishi. So really the only true new legends were getting is Peter Miavia. Would you say an Indiana Jones toy is Han Solo? Hasbro need to release a "Faces Of Ford" 3-pack: Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Rick Deckard 😎

I'm not that bothered about the "mustard" tights - and apart from that, I think it's a fantastic figure - I love the torso choice/look and the heads. The coat seems to be a love it/hate it thing... and personally, I love it. Yes, it's a bit big - but I'd prefer this to a solid "swappable arms" version coat (like Bret and Edge etc.).
