Here is what mattel should have done. $300 for the entrance stage and include Eric Bischoff figure for 5k backers. Then at 6k backers add Scott Stiener, 7k backers Nwo Hogan, 8k Nwo Kevin Nash, 9k backers Nwo Scott Hall Ultimates. The other option i would have done is Wcw stage and elite scale ring for the $400 price and no figures. I have to believe either of these options would have more than 2,174 Backers right now. I am not going to listen to people who say mattel could not do that at that price point. They literally pay there factory workers pennies on the dollar, get real. Steve himself has said $400 is the minimum they can make/sell the stage for though... I'm sure if they could have done it for $300, they would have.

Seth's just seen the new UE Rey and Eddie figures - "...these aren't the torsos you're looking for..." š¤

l This was the best Heenan, and it was VERY hard to find..... probably because this line was exclusive to Walmart. Yeah Mattel went with Weasel Suit Heenan in the Legends line and it rotted on shelves - - - which is a shame, and now they're probably afraid to give us more Heenans for a while. I'd really love a few of his more iconic looks! Very true. I bought this Heenan off eBay and he sits at a commentary table with Monsoon. Possible my absolute favorite figures to display. Still surprising thereās never been a Monsoon-Heenan two pack.Yeah... there was that (Basic) Survivor Series 2-pack announced/planned a couple of years ago, but it was cancelled š„ŗ.

On the plus side of things... that new Basic Hogan looks really good - and still has the old arm articulation. Anyone know which/what head it uses?

The UE line is amazing but I def feel sometimes the butterfly joints make the figures look like some kind of robot cyborg version of the wrestler. Pumped for the Defining Moments. Wish HBK had knee pads but overall love the fig and attire. š

so in your tiny mind which UE torso would you use for a 2004 jacked Eddie ? iām convinced the majority of you are either too old or too young to remember how jacked he was in 04. Rude's might have worked. It might be slightly smaller than how Eddie looked at the time, but it would stand out like the one they have on figure.Ā Rude's would have looked MUCH better.

...sweet mother of God... I'm trying to remain positive - but some of these Ultimate Edition figures just look... š¬

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'd prefer Ultimate Edition figures to not have butterfly joints... sure there's more articulation, but most of the time it just takes away from the overall look and aesthetic appeal of the figures... they look more like Transformers or "Mr Roboto" versions of themselves. It's a shame.

Think it looks fine displayed with the ring. Not picking either side. People can definitely express their criticisms. A lot of this thread is really just the same thing repeated over and over again with no real progress. If you canāt afford it or donāt see the value in it, thatās understandable. If youāre upset with the international thing, I get it. Posting about it every day seems tiresome, but you do you boo boo. The poor thing is a solid meme. Duckman repeating himself over and over again essentially reminds me of Donnie saying āI am the walrusā in the background. I hope it succeeds for those that want it. It still has a chance to. We will see. Yeah, it looks pretty good... the problem is that together it's all just so big that it must be very difficult to take accurate photos. The issue with the ring being "too big" is probably down to it being in the foreground, with the stage in the background (look how small the figures look - and we all know the size of them). There should probably be more space between the end of the ramp-way and the ring too.

I think the recently revealed Ultimate Rey looks pretty rough when the entrance gear is removed too. I think it's a problem with the Ultimate Editions in general... because of the extra articulation (especially those damn butterfly joints), a lot of the time the figures just don't look as good as Elites. With the added size and bulk, the figures seem to have a Deluxe Aggresssion vibe about them...

Man alive... talk about blowing things out of all proportion, lol. Only one person mentioned false advertising... me. And that was because - as I've already mentioned - I didn't know where the photo was from (and that Steve had posted it). So yes, it appeared like it was false advertising. People just latch on to things though, I guess š¤·āāļø. Iāll be honest with you, I didnāt even know youāre the one who said it. That being said, Iāve seen it on Twitter also when discussing what comes with the offering. But if thatās the only thing you got from my post so be it. My point still stands, this place will find the ONE thing they can to complain about no matter what is done to rectify previous complaints. No worries... I didn't realize they'd been on about it on Twitter (...should have guessed though!).

W. T. F. š³ Hopefully, it's not too late for Mattel to change... On a side note - I'd love them to use this skin tone on Hogan, rather than the more orangy one.

Backed 4, have tried avoiding this thread based on all the nonsensical suggestions and things of that nature (yes, including everyone complaining - and no, itās not āconstructive criticismā or warranted complaints if you arenāt even interested in backing the item. Thatās like staying at the same store and comparing to all who walk buy the reasons you wonāt buy the item. Not for you? The move along). But Iām ready for this thing to be over. Select members constant negativity has really just sucked the fun out of this thing. Iād be willing to bet the majority of this thread is people, who have stated they arenāt buying, just beating a dead horse and relating the same thing and wording it differently. Out of your price range/international customers/donāt personally see the value in it - thatās fine. Seems crazy to keep drumming up the same thing page after page though. First itās too big, then itās too small when they post pictures with the ring. Saying they want to see it posed with the ring, then posted with the ring and itās false advertising. Canāt win for trying with some people.Bravo to Steve and the team, the items is beautiful and definitely a collectors dream. They listens and made the pivot they could adding Steiner. Making podcast appearances and even still coming to this place (for some reason š). Friday will be interesting, for those wanting the stage (myself included) letās hope it surges in the final 48. Man alive... talk about blowing things out of all proportion, lol. Only one person mentioned false advertising... me. And that was because - as I've already mentioned - I didn't know where the photo was from (and that Steve had posted it). So yes, it appeared like it was false advertising. Defining Moments Mankind has been one of my most wanted Mattel figures since the DM line relaunched (in 2014/2015). Having said that though, I've gotta say the figure looks... pretty average to poor, to be honest š - Those double-jointed elbows look awful... and what's with the "you can't see me" John Cena hands!? WTF. On the plus-side though, the new head is great... but on the whole, the figure looks very "Jakksie" (to quote MDT on YouTube). What's wrong with the shoulder piece? It just looks a bit strange... I guess I'm used to the way they normally do the Mankind shirt, lol.

It'll be the other way 'round for me... I like figures that have more than one UE to either be from different eras or in an iconic attire. So I'd really like The Shield gear to win... especially as the other two choices were also one-off attires, both from '22 (like his UE17 figure). his ue17 attire wasnāt a one off. At least the tights weārent but the robe was ...ah, I didn't realize about the tights. Both the other choices were also from '22 though... so I just think it would be nice to have one from a different era (ie. his Shield days). The correct poll choice for Seth is, of course, SummerSlam '15 - but Mattel obviously don't like money... š¤

Collectors: āYou should show it with the ring!!!!ā Me: āOk, here it is!ā Other collectors: āThis is false advertising.ā Good times. Feedback was legitimately overwhelming that a ring wasnāt wanted in future crowdfunding projects so it was removed from the equation. Iād bet anything if it was included, feedback would have been extremely negative on its inclusion. these people are fickle my guy As I said, I didn't realize Steve had posted that... I thought it was from a store or website or something - so it came across as rather midleading/false advertising š¤·āāļø. That's all. My bad.

Only Bret and HBK can qualify as DMās, the other 2 could have fit easily in the regular elite line That's been true of the DM line going back years.Ā It's mostly a way to charge a premium price for more desirable figures.Ā Sting, Jericho, Nakamura, Razor, etc all easily could have been main line too.Ā The only figures that really felt premium during the last iteration were Sting, Savage, and Macho Manicas Warrior (even if the thing ended up getting clearanced to being dirt cheap) I agree about Macho and the first Sting (2 of my favourite Mattel figures!). But there's no way that Warrior should have been a DM figure - it was very plain compared to his E26 singlet/figure (...not to mention, it wasn't an iconic look - or a defining moment š).

If shield Rollins wins over day one and clash at the castle gear Iāll be very disappointed. It'll be the other way 'round for me... So I'd really like The Shield gear to win... especially as the other two choices were also one-off attires, both from '22 (like his UE17 figure).

I know this won't be a popular opinion, but I can take or leave the tan. I like what they're trying to do, but in person I think it looks too orange and... kind of weird.
If they could alter the tan to make it less orange, it would probably help... but then we've already had so many Hulks without the tan, I'd prefer future ones to fit in with them.
(...I'll get me coat...)

If the WCW Nitro stage doesn't get funded is there any need for Mattel to release the ring? Heck yes. Personally, I'm way more interested in the Nitro ring with Bischoff than the Nitro stage with Rey and Steiner. I think wrestling rings are kind of standard for a lot of collectors/collections too... whereas stages/display pieces aren't.
