There was 3 separate immediate jumps of 250 backers yesterday… The rest of the backers gradually came through ...it does seem a bit strange that the jumps/orders were all for the same amount (250), all on the same day... (conspiracy!!! 😄) |

i have new panther and deadpool , I love posing them. Only people that hate extra articulation points are just vaniila poser. Yep, I'll never understand the "don't increase articulation" crowd. ...if it takes away from the overall look and aesthetic appeal of the figure (eg. some of the Ultimate Editions), then I totally understand. I mean, that Eddie Guerrero is shocking... it's a premium figure, yet the original figure twelve years ago actually looks better. |

After seeing in-hand pics, the only thing keeping me wanting this is what it stands for and represents: his WrestleMania return. Because if I look at the figure in a vacuum, it's really rough... - Mattel refuses to make a good looking weight belt - Ill-fitting screen printed baggy coat opposed to molded with replaceable arms (Ex: how they did Logan Paul)- Tattoo should not be split between the neck and the jaw - Torso looks strange And yes, I preordered two. I don't regret preordering. I just wish Mattel rethought some things about this. Packaging is still awesome. A lot of people prefer soft goods though, so it's one of those things where whatever they do, they're never going to please everyone. I think the coat looks good. 🤷♂️ |

Bro I browse this forum in my spare time at work. Have a job and supplementary income renting an additional property I own. I would have backed this two, maybe 3 times if they weren’t scamming international backers. I haven’t bought anything from MC since they started overcharging international buyers on everything on their site and I won’t as a matter of principal. You haven't been scammed. Scammed would have been if you paid $400 for it and later found it was going to cost you an extra $200 for it to be delivered. International customers have known what it was going to cost them for a long time now. It's not scam; you are just choosing not to have it based on cost (and "principals" it seems). Fact is - we're still being overcharged, still have to pay the import fees etc. upfront, and still have no payment plans. They just seem to be making it as awkward and difficult as possible. It's a shame. I really wish there was a payment plan this side of the pond, even being able to pay through PayPal would help as I could use theirs, doubt it’s going to change in these last moments. I want this so bad 😔 |

They really should do all Ultimate jackets and coats like that outside maybe Macho. I can’t even imagine how crummy Warrior’s duster or Flair’s robes would be as plastic. 👆 Personally, I really like the jacket... I prefer it done like this to the plastic/swappable arms coats (Edge, Bret etc). And I'll be the first to criticise UE torsos - but this looks pretty good to me. |

Lets see if the USA steps up to back this in the end like that guy on here was saying they didn't need any international backers on this. It’s sad because even if it crosses 5k without international people. The amount of buys they lose from being priced out means everybody gets less out of it. Coulda maybe hit Warrior.Exactly... it's all well and good, saying we can sit this one out (or whatever) - but it affects everyone. |

My personal pick would be WCW Cactus Jack, but since that's not going to happen, my next choice would be Mankind with the shirt and tie. Just don't make it specific to one particular event. You don't think we'll get a WCW Cactus? I'd say it's doubtful as an Ultimate Edition... we haven't even got Mankind yet. If we did get Cactus, I think it would be the WWE version. |

It's obvious what happened: a couple of diehard wrestling fans - with a spare $100K lying about - saw the ad during NXT and decided to back 250 each.

Y'all still hopeful this gets backed. Y'all really have a lot to believe in huh? This thing isn't getting backed idk why y'all think this has a chance with 3 days left at almost half backed. It's not good, they are gonna advertise it on smackdown I'm sure and it still won't happen. They waited to late to do this and they still messed it up with the figure selection. I backed it and I want this, but I think it's dead in the water still 💯 ...the only people allowed that many "y'alls" are Dolly Parton and Rogue from the X-Men... |

Over The Edge Dude Love (Please stop suggesting 2-1 or 3-1 figures with a bunch of cloth shirts and pants.)You could definitely do a 2-in-1 though, that wouldn't take away the look of the figure at all: - UE figure in all-brown gear... the brown shirt could be a removable cloth or plastic one - or even molded on (like the first UE Macho) - black boots - cloth white shirt - swappable arms (with & without wrist-tape) - Mr Socko - World title belt - 3 different heads ...if the cloth shirt was too expensive - or didn't look good - you could have a swappable white plastic one, with swappable white-sleeved arms instead (like the Bret jackets). |

Whether you agree with the pricing, figures included/not included, etc - one can’t deny this stage is a first of its kind for this community and something that I think we’ve all dreamed up owning one day. We just never thought it would be possible.  (...the gif that keeps on giving 😄) |

The six people who don’t like butterfly joints should learn about this thing called the elite line ...they don't come with the all the extra heads and accessories though. And that's the thing - I don't think people are against the Ultimate Edition line in general, as it's fantastic. When it works. At the moment though, the butterfly joints (and/or torsos) really take away from the overall look and "premium" feel of some of the figures - these new Eddie and Rey UEs look worse than their Basic figures... 😬 |

I think the first UE Foley should definitely be Mankind - I'd like the all-brown/debut look or brown tights/white shirt look... they've just done that as a DM figure though, so I'd probably go with the all-brown attire.

They definitely sacrifice aesthetic for functionality and that's generally not my bag. It's a unique situation where it appeases a minority of the base, but that minority makes up a huge percentage of the online presence/grass roots marketing of the product via social media. So from a business perspective I think it's smart to lean into the figure photography world. From a personal perspective I think they make some of the ugliest torsos around, and I usually can't put a shirt on those Ultimates fast enough. I don't think it matters. They're not going to roll it back now. This. I love the extra heads and extra accessories the UE figures come with - but the torso/butterfly joints thing actually puts me off buying some of them... that Eddie and Rey are shocking and went from must-buys to probable misses (the original figures from 10+ years ago look better). I don't think the UE figures of guys like Batista, 1st Hardy, and Goldberg look good either (to name a few). |
