Btw based on the design of the thing, Mattel intended the ring skirts to be changed by unhooking all the ropes and pulling the ring skirts down over the top of the posts. The posts were not designed to be popped in and out easily if at all. And it’s a bummer because it’s 2022 and we’re still using ring post technology from 40 yrs ago.
It’s very cool mdt designed a ring that can break down in parts but why the hell didn’t they go all the way and make ringposts that don’t suck when you plug them in and out

What berealnicknaro said using needle-nose pliers to pinch the bottom clip of the post under the ring, to pull the post out is best. I literally did that just last night, to remove the New Gen ringskirts and replace them with plain blue ringskirts I just got from naparo01. =D mikew, regarding the bases on the back of the entrance stage... yeahhh, that's another story. I put one of the bases in, when I first got it, and realized it was not removable. Come to find out, the instructions clearly say it is a "one-time assembly," much like the crane on the Wrekkin' Rig. Just like the Rig, I had to unscrew the back of the Entrance Stage, just enough to pop a flathead screwdriver on the tab that holds the base to the stage. Got the base off, and threw it back in the box, never to put on the stage again. 'cause those bases attached to the stage doesn't fit cleanly in the box. =\ I also unscrewed all 20 or so screws to open the entangle stage panel up to pop the stand pieces out. It really sucked. But could’ve been worse. I’m never popping those stand up pieces in again And I agree with the heat and needle nose pliers method to remove the ring posts. Other wise you will risk breaking the tabs or massively stressing them

The regular New Gen ones. For Doink, I used the pouting head and the more circular afro hair (but from the Elite Doink, since the green is more accurate). it's funny MDT made the UE doink hair so dark and even darker with the paint wash. weird considering doinks actual more neon green hair wouldve made for a funner brighter more accurate toy

i traveled in europe over the summer and thought what a crime that there is such limited access to so many great figure releases. Anyway i feel for you and wish Mattel would push harder to find outlets for release over there

MDT never shouldve gone back to their generic latino skin tone. it's so thoughtless. eddie always had the hall of champions tone, MDT should stick to that

Legion of doom needs the macho warrior cena Roman treatment. Constant releases
And multiple heads with different expressions and pace paint would be killer

I really thought we’d never get a Stan Hansen. And it still hasn’t really hit me that one could be standing on my shelf in a few months. I hope it looks good next to Luger

I was only gonna get Kerry Stan and magnum But then I was like I could use the others for fixups they are pretty perfect blank canvases for that era. So I got the whole set and an extra Kerry and Stan
Can’t wait to see what’s next. Also hope they fix the big squatting thigh gap. Not a fan of that

Are there any paint markers that don’t require sealing? I just wanna add gray to the back of pair of knee pads for flair

He made it sounded like it wasn’t likely, as he wants to move focus onto series 2 and forward. He did however mention a purple Sabu variant for I believe NYCC. Thank you for the info. That’s a bummer. Series 2 is awesome and I’ll be happy to jump on those when the preorder opens and purple sabu would be really cool. Hopefully down the road zst at least revisits Dino

I didn’t hear about the preorder until months after it ended. Any word from zst if they’re entertaining or teasing a second run?

On the list of baffling design choices that infuriate me this isn’t egregious. But it is bugging me. Why don’t they just do it right? It costs the same amount of money to get that v shape on the boot more accurately shaped and positioned. The black pointed tip should be touching the top of the ankle, then the paint wouldn’t need to go above the boot mold. So why not just do it? Maybe design just rushes through some of this stuff like ehhh close enough.
