I tolerate the explanation but there was LITERALLY nothing wrong with the way he did it. If PR's worried about kids trying the move in an unsafe and unprofessional environment, they have bigger fish to fry. Legit ANY move done outside a controlled environment has a chance of ing up and hurting someone.

Extreme Rules is projected to be posted Monday or Tuesday.
The running gag I keep writing is I don't refer to it as an "Irish whip" unless Sheamus does it.

She fell victim to writing change from NXT to the main roster. She lost a ton of her uniqueness and ended up under a typical Diva archetype.
In the ring she falls victim to a lackluster group of opponents. Despite that there's still people like you and me that shake themselves awake simply because Paige is on TV, be it for her looks or to see what she'll do.
Hoping after this NXT invasion subsides we get Paige vs. Becky, Sasha, Charlotte, Natalya, Emma, and eventually Bayley for the Divas Title. Then we won't have much to complain about her.

Marvelous opening segment with Vince and Flair. I see you went the route of having the hometown guy get sh*t on but here it works and it works beautifully. Glad to see Maven getting a win. Hoping Rock and Trips can coexist tonight. The UnAmericans are looking strong headed into 'Mania with Test beating DDP. The backstage segment with McMahon and Jericho was great. Furthered both storylines and doesn't make Flair look like absolute garbage in Charlotte. The four-way was fun and I'm certainly intrigued by the TLC at 'Mania; no idea who could win. Excited for Benoit/Angle and the segment further exacerbated that notion. Mighty Molly Holly winning was the right choice. 'Taker and Austin going back and forth was solid. Surprised the UnAmericans keep beating Rock and HHH but I suppose it's all for Jericho looking good headed into 'Mania which I'm a fan of. You're doing good work Spice.

Certainly an intriguing Raw given the surplus of NXT talent. The opening promo was solid and the announcement for Unison is fantastic. Glad to see we're getting Tyson vs Neville on the big stage but I woulda been fine with either man winning contendership. Rusev vs. Del Rio should be an interesting feud, curious to see where you go with it. The interaction with Sasha and AJ was sweet and now I'm hoping that will be the champion vs champion match at Unison. Reigns vs Cena II is something to look forward to and I like the Ambrose promo in the segment after. Reminiscent of the one he cut on Rollins the week after he turned on the Shield. The Wyatts winning was cool and gives Bray momentum going into the Chamber. I expect either him or Barrett to walk out with the title. The Divas fatal 4-way should be off the hook. Christian beating Ryback was needed; anticipating Christian/Owens. Glad Balor and Itami won and Balor kicking Miz off his chair was p cool. Awesome that the NXT Title contract signing was on Raw and the segment was very well-written. Rhodes winning was cool; I love how he's found his niche in the main event. Finally, the main event was great, Rollins winning was the right thing, and Owens' beatdown was the icing on the cake.

I'm all for 'Taker coming back at Battleground. I'm all for him vs. Lesnar in a grudge match at Summerslam.
I lose interest once Sting gets shoehorned in that.

You know what? I'd be up for it. They've been saying Kane has a backup plan for a week or so, and Lesnar made mention to Kane being 'Taker's brother. It'd be cool to see Undertaker run as a heel, we'd probably get the Lesnar/'Taker match at the caliber that it coulda been at Wrestlemania. The idea of Undertaker metaphorically selling his soul to the Authority because Brock broke the Streak. Theoretically it could still play into a possible Undertaker/Sting match and it would allow Reigns to remain face (where he's been building momentum pretty well) and save the idea of Reigns/Rollins/Ambrose triple threat.
Obviously not getting my hopes up on it but it wouldn't be terrible.

I'm in the minority but I believe that WM X-Seven isn't in the top five. I also think that there weren't any true "great" Wrestlemania's until X-Seven. That being said:
1.) XIX 2.) 21 3.) XXX 4.) 22 5.) XXIV

The Inside Scoop: April 24th, 2010
Officials are keen on Drew McIntyre and believe his upside will solidify himself as a main eventer. Word seems to be that McIntyre will cash in his Money in the Bank contract sooner rather than later—as soon as tomorrow’s Extreme Rules and no later than Summerslam.
Matt Hardy’s knee injury at Wrestlemania was a means of allowing him to exit the final portion of his contract. Hardy has voiced his displeasure backstage with his handling and was granted his release in early-April.
There have been serious talks concerning a possible rise to the main event scene for Christian. WWE brass has entertained the idea of an Edge/Christian feud for a while and wants to plant the seeds for it soon. Christian faces Cody Rhodes at Extreme Rules, while Edge vies for the World Heavyweight Title.
Batista’s contract is set to expire soon and word is he wants to pursue endeavors outside of wrestling, particularly acting. He and Vince McMahon have discussed opportunities as well as angles for him to close on.
The bold decision to cease the Raw/SmackDown brand split was one made by WWE officials who believe more can be done with a singular roster. Higher-ups see a deep talent pool and want to showcase it more freely on a weekly basis.

First Mariner Arena || Baltimore, Maryland | The Extreme Stage Sometimes tensions rise to the point where pure wrestling does not satisfy the need for destruction and pain. The need for advanced violence approaches. Retribution can only be attained through nefarious means. Sheamus battles Triple H in all corridors of the First Mariner Arena. John Cena and Batista fight to destroy the will to continue fighting. CM Punk travels through hell and high water to keep himself sacred. New rivalries boil over and begin under extreme conditions. Drew McIntyre puts one of his treasures on the line against Kofi Kingston. Chris Jericho vies to escape caged captivity with his World Heavyweight Championship. Two women battle for the throne atop the Women's Division. It will not be pretty. Anguish and pain will run down the spines of all those competing at Extreme Rules! |

RINGSIDE: The Road to Extreme Rules //////////////
//////////////////////// reported by Dante Vocaturo | Another year, another massive Wrestlemania come and gone. This year’s installment brought a new wave of change over the WWE. In the main event, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels fought a classic, which saw Michaels forced into retirement due to pre-match stipulations. The night after, Michaels came out to address and thank the fans one final time. In a tear-jerking segment that saw the likes of Triple H and other legends coming out to pay respect and adulation to the Heartbreak Kid, Michaels thanked the fans for their twenty-plus years of support. “Every night I came out here, and whether you booed me or cheered me I fed off your energy in hope that I could gain your respect,” Michaels declared. “Hopefully I’ve done my job.” The segment also featured Undertaker coming out, and much like his post-match embrace with Michaels, saluted his opponent with a pose and a handshake. As the show went off the air, a teary-eyed Michaels connected with the fans one last time: “The Heartbreak Kid has left the building.” The biggest structural change for the immediate future of WWE came thanks to Bret Hart. The Hitman, victorious over Vince McMahon on the Wrestlemania stage, kicked off the post-‘Mania Raw with an idea that received high praise from the WWE fans. “I want to right the wrongs Vince McMahon has laid down these past few months. I want to change WWE for the better going forward. I want to be General Manager.” Irate, McMahon trudged down the aisle with a crutch, still lingering the pain and humiliation of a loss the night prior. He vehemently rejected the notion, prompting Hart to bring out an “extra incentive”—the Hart Dynasty. Bret reminded McMahon of the beating Tyson, DH and Natalya gave to McMahon and his “cavalry” ShoMiz at Wrestlemania. With his hands metaphorically tied and surrounded by adversaries, McMahon angrily and reluctantly awarded Hart GM authorities. In the subsequent weeks Hart laid down two massive announcements—SmackDown talents would be allowed to compete on Raw and vice versa, and ShoMiz would defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against The Hart Dynasty in London. WWE Champion Batista spared no expense in reminding the fans that he beat John Cena handedly at Wrestlemania. Originally, he refused to grant Cena another rematch. It was only after Cena ran through Batista’s handpicked gauntlet on SmackDown in London that he earned another shot at Batista. The champion named the stipulation as Last Man Standing, citing during the contract signing, “At Wrestlemania I broke you John. At Wrestlemania I left you lying on the mat—for longer than ten seconds, mind you. And the beating I gave you—it didn’t require the use of weapons, I didn’t need to throw you into the crowd—I did it with my bare hands. At Extreme Rules, I get to eviscerate you, once and for all, and it’s going to be a violent affair.” The feud between Edge and Chris Jericho over the World Heavyweight Championship added a new dynamic—a reptilian dynamic. Randy Orton pinned Jericho in six-man tag action and won via count-out in singles competition on SmackDown when the champion left. Edge, who still believed he had earned another match with the champion due to the no-contest finish at Wrestlemania, fought Orton in a #1 contender’s match on Raw. Both men received a beatdown courtesy of the World Heavyweight Champion and his NXT rookie, Wade Barrett. GM Bret Hart then declared both Orton and Edge challengers to Jericho’s title at Extreme Rules, and added a steel cage stipulation both to prevent Wade Barrett from interfering and to force Jericho to fight. The new Mr. Money in the Bank, Drew McIntyre, proved in these weeks why Vince McMahon handpicked him as the “Chosen One.” On the March 29th episode of Raw, McIntyre defeated an injured-yet-fighting John Cena with the Future Shock DDT. Then, four days later on SmackDown, he took down Edge with an iota of help from Chris Jericho. His only televised loss came in tag team action, where Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio defeated him and CM Punk. Kofi has been a thorn in McIntyre’s side since Wrestlemania—as they were the last two going after the briefcase in Money in the Bank. On the April 19th Raw, McIntyre attacked Kofi backstage, throwing him through a table. Divas Champion Maryse grew irate with Women’s Champion Michelle McCool for not tagging her in at Wrestlemania, ultimately what Maryse believed to have cost their team the match. A game of “one-upwomanship” ensued, with each woman claiming she is the superior champion. This rivalry was highlighted by each champion pinning an opponent hand-picked by the other. It was decided the two should settle their score at Extreme Rules in a match that would crown a singular, undisputed Women’s Champion. A contract signing in East Rutherford made it official, with the Women’s Champion delivering some bold words to her opponent: “I was the first Divas Champion,” McCool began, “and I’ll have no problem being the last.” As per the announcement from new WWE General Manager Bret Hart, Unified WWE Tag Team Champions ShoMiz defended their gold against the Hart Dynasty in London. The crowd was electric as both teams traded momentum throughout the match. As the match winded down, Big Show set up a prone Tyson Kidd near the steel steps. With Miz charging, Kidd dodged a dropkick attempt, with Miz sending the steps into Big Show’s knees. Without a giant tag partner, Miz fell victim to a Hart Attack and the Hart Dynasty earned the WWE Tag Team Championships. In celebration, Hart presented the new champions with a new Tag Team Championship belt, a design shaped similarly to the World Tag Team Titles, emblazoned with green and gold designs. Miz interrupted the ceremony, demanding a rematch but lacking his partner. Soon, Big Show came out, still angry over Miz’s miscalculation in the title match. He floored his former partner with a Knockout Punch and left. Miz has yet to return to singles competition but stated on WWE.com “I still have my United States Title. And that is something that Big Show can’t take away.” CM Punk’s pursuit of Rey Mysterio did not end after his loss at Wrestlemania. The April 2nd edition of SmackDown saw Punk assault Mysterio backstage, with Luke Gallows ripping off his mask and replacing it with the custom Straight Edge Society mask Punk had made for Wrestlemania. Mysterio retaliated in a vengeful way, using an electric razor to cleave a lock of Punk’s hair. The stipulation was set on top of their Extreme Rules match that if Punk loses, he must shave his head. Triple H may have won the battle against Sheamus at Wrestlemania, but the war was far from over. The “Celtic Warrior” returned to programming on the April 5th Raw—or at least the one who left Triple H knocked out in the locker room was believed to be him. Triple H certainly believed his attacker to be Sheamus and called him out in London, which resulted in a brawl that traveled all around the 02 Arena. A Falls Count Anywhere rematch was announced for Extreme Rules. In other news around the WWE, Vickie Guerrero has announced her retirement from in-ring competition due to her self-described “embarrassing performance” at Wrestlemania. She did state on WWE.com that somewhere down the line she would like to throw her hand in managing superstars. A new tag team debuted on April 5th. Led by the daughter of “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, Tamina, Jimmy and Jey Uso knocked off the team of John Morrison and R-Truth. The sons of Rikishi showed impressive athleticism, chemistry and a mean streak. Finally, in an odd manner, a portion of the WWE roster was stuck in Europe and missed Raw in East Rutherford. The Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull erupted, clouding the skies with ash and preventing planes from exiting northern Europe. Thankfully, a part of the WWE roster made it back to the states in time for Raw, while the rest caught up for SmackDown. Season one of NXT had its shake-ups in recent weeks. With Matt Hardy out of action due to a knee injury at the hands of Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania, Justin Gabriel was left without a pro. WWE assigned Cody Rhodes as his new pro, and the two have yet to see eye-to-eye. Immediately, Rhodes tried to exercise his authority on his rookie, an authority both Gabriel and fellow pro Christian believed Rhodes did not have. In a historic main event on the April 13 episode, Gabriel defeated Cody Rhodes in a great back-and-forth match. After the match, Rhodes retaliated against his rookie, prompting “Captain Charisma” to make the save. NXT looks toward May 11th, where the first elimination episode will take place, and three rookies will be sent packing. |

Right off the bat, I'm fond of the layout. Clean and interpretive. The Career vs. Championship stipulation is solid and it's a fun little way to finish Kane's career (unless you're going GOAT-ballsy and having him win). Glad you have Barrett not looking like trash and I'd be intrigued by a Ryback/Barrett feud. Interesting having Miz answer the Owens challenge but it was a fun read. New Day winning tonight was good and doesn't completely stifle their momentum. Really interested in what's going to happen with Kofi and the group as a whole. Also, I'm glad you're making the Tokyo special a big deal. In real life it was great no doubt, but it felt kinda odd only being half the show. Brie winning over Paige is alright and progresses the current story; I'm hoping Paige gets some backup soon though. Reigns pinning Sheamus was good and would be a good match no matter what. Bray coming out and attacking was good. Hope you make their rivalry clearer. Rollins winning the main event was good and the ending was fantastic. Really solid first Raw and I'm looking forward to more.

Life hit pretty hard this past month or so(Found out i'm going to be a father and my girls mother has also been diagnosed with cancer), hence the delay in The New WWE. I've gotten stuff back on track though so I look to return to writing and giving replies here shortly. Dante, The Voc Wrestlemania was a great read, i'll have a proper reply probably tomorrow but I just wanted to leave a quick great job! Appreciate that a lot man, best of luck moving forward. WWE2010's getting a free DLC "Extreme Rules Preview Pack" within the next couple of hours. "Ringside" preview and "Arena Report" match results, ER Card, and "Inside Scoop" dirt sheet report.

As long as Nikki loses that belt I don't care. This better not lead to another multi-woman match for the title that Nikki wins.
Sasha being w/ Naomi and Tamina is fine for now. I'm hoping once this angle ends Sasha feuds with Naomi. Charlotte, Becky, and Paige is OP.
Either way we'll be getting combos of Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Paige, and hopefully Natalya and eventually Bayley for the next year and a half at least. That's a good thing.

I feel like we aren't hearing enough.
I don't know if that means they don't have enough information to ensure he's safe or to say something's happened to him.
