Didn't know where to post this, but coming out of halftime of the Chicago Bulls/Washington Wizards game tonight, the arena played Sami's theme.
I got a kick out of it.

The only reason he was around in 2010 was because of the Streak. Legitimately, his only appearances in 2011 were for the defense of the Streak. His only 2012 appearances revolved around the Streak. Besides his couple of appearances against the Shield, he was only around in 2013 because of the Streak. His only 2014 appearances were solely for the Streak.
He has only made appearances the last five years for the Streak.
The Streak is over. His somber walk back up the aisle with "21-1" emblazoned on the screen and shocked faces emblazoned on the fans' faces was his farewell.
There's nothing he could do at this point. Let the man retire and induct him into the Hall of Fame.

I've read Foley's "The Hardcore Diaries," Jericho's "Undisputed" and Edge's book. Trying to get my hands on Jericho's other two because he's easily my favorite author of the three, although all of them are great stuff.

Even if you take the "as the ABA" out of your original question, the answer's still no.

What in YOUR opinion is the Worst ever:
Finisher- Khali Vice Grip, Big Show KO Punch (he throws haymakers left and right during a match but all of a sudden that one is a match-ender?), in essence the People's Elbow's dumb but I find it enjoyable, like the Worm
Gimmick- Dungeon of Doom, Artist Formerly Known as Goldust
Entrance Theme- Bastion Booger, Cesaro's wee-woo, Hornswoggle's too simply because it ended up replacing Finlay's
Championship- the Winged Eagle's overrated, the Divas Title, and the silver ECW belt (I like the pennies tag title)
Wrestler- Ricky Ortiz, Marty Jannetty
What in YOUR opinion is the Best ever:
Finisher- F5, RKO, Five-Star Frog Splash
Gimmick/Character- Val Venis played his to perfection, Legend Killer Orton, 2011 Punk, early nWo, Hassan pre-incident
Entrance Theme- Cult of Personality, Burn in My Light, Line in the Sand, Never Gonna Stop, Whatever, Slow Chemical, King of My World
Championship- Big Eagle, '98-'11 IC Title
Wrestler- Punk, Undertaker, Rock, Lesnar, Angle, Jericho, Edge

dude, if they come back at the Rumble...
IN PHILLY
that arena might implode. Would be a surreal moment--the subsequent storylines might not live up...kinda skeptical overall but it'd be satisfying if only for the return.

I bought the Hogan pack and the Accelerator and I think that's gonna be it for me in terms of DLC this year. Not gonna waste $24 on characters/moves plus the season pass PLUS whatever the discount is for showcase. Too much that will not add enough replay value for me to buy it all.

Yeah, think about that. Ziggler busted his ass to make sure the Authority's out of power, and Cena just pisses it away on his word a month later.
Intelligent booking, assuming you wanna get Cena over as a heel...

I wish it was as simple as Cesaro's gimmick being "I don't cut promos I just go out there and put on good matches" because seriously, he does connect with the crowd when he's wrestling, just not on the mic. That's why they gave him Heyman but did absolutely nothing with him.

Let him screw up a promo and, well, "I'm afraid I've got some bad news." He supposedly delivers in the ring but he loses. That was a figurative jab to the IWC saying that Cesaro has "it" when Vince says he doesn't.

Dirt Sheets before Bryan's announcement: "Reigns is penciled in to win the Rumble." Dirt Sheets after Bryan's announcement: "Word around WWE is higher-ups are deciding between Bryan and Reigns for the Rumble."
Anything less than a Rumble win and escaping San Fran with the gold would warrant a crowd-induced riot.

This is the same website that had, on a list of their all-time greatest bad guys, Brock Lesnar four spots lower (at #42) than Don Muraco (and Randy Savage was even lower than that!) . At least put your damn champion over as a legit heel. They seriously just choose 50 people that fit the criteria and throw them wherever, taking time only to select the top 5.

This report legit sounds like a forum-goer-turned reporter. Not much news. Again I say in an ideal world it'd be heel Rollins defending against tweener Ambrose and face Reigns at Mania.

My thoughts are that the OP has to hit a quota of posts per week for some reason. But seriously...
Johnny Curtis and Husky Harris were BAD. Glad they found something. Kruger was good. Rose had potential but he fell flat. I wish he could slowly have parts of the Kruger gimmick show off more and more each week. Cody is fantastic in whatever he does.

I like to imagine all these nicknames are Vince's outrage over NXT outperforming the main roster. I can just imagine him in a production meeting all flustered:
"I'm hip, dammit! I understand the times! Erick Rowan, he's like..uh....he's a Big Red! Yeah! That's good, dammit, use it!"

Ideally he snaps and acts as a tweener...triple threat between him, Rollins and Reigns (for the title? up to you). After WM he goes full-blown bad to the bone.
I'd settle for another stip vs. Rollins or Wyatt (Last Man Standing or Falls Count Anywhere particularly), Reigns (if he's not hotshotted to the World Title), Cesaro, Ziggler, Sheamus, etc.

Enjoy the show fellas.

LET ME GUESS: they debut on Raw in a squash tag match against Los Matadores.
Then they squash Slater Gator on SmackDown.
Then they squash Los Matadores again on Raw, beating them up after the match for The New Day to make the save.
Then bing bam boom, Ascension vs. New Day in a throwaway filler match on PPV. Genius.

Just let the man retire and ride off into the sunset. No more convincing way to hang it up than to lose a Streak lasting a quarter-century.

I just don't get WWE booking. We're at a point (and we've been there for about a half-decade) where Cena could lose every match from here on out and not lose a smidge of momentum.
He doesn't need the win, but he doesn't need the stipulation where he loses his title match. I don't know if they'd pass up a big money match like Cena/Lesnar (especially considering Cena hasn't gotten a clean win on him since the BS match in 2012), but there's no real point for Rollins to win. Wow, he beat Cena. Now what? Orton's just gonna come back and beat him up.
They booked themselves into a corner with this.
