I know I'm gonna get my ass flamed for this but I don't care.
Chris Benoit was one of the best wrestlers ever, and a true wrestling fan knows that. I'm not supporting a murderer, but the fact and the matter is he put his body through so much pain, so much abuse for all of us. The wrestling audience, day in & day out he would put on a wrestling clinic wheteher it was infront of 50 peaple or 60 thousand. He has made MVP the wrestler he is today, he has said on many occasion that Benoit was his mentor and hero, and since there fued was where we saw MVP grow as a real wrestler. The WWE should aknowledge this amazing man, he is an icon in proffesional wrestling. He didn't have mic skills, or charisma but he was the best wrestler we saw since Bret Hart. He is one of the only wrestlers that has in the WWE that was put in the main event without any mic skills or charisma, and the crowd would love him simply because they knew they got there moneys worth as soon as his entrance hit. His WM title win was one of the most amazing moments in the WWE and now it has been erased from the WWE's history books. I understand why they don't want any part of him because of the media outburst that came out. But dammit atleast induct him in the Hall Of Fame without a speech or whatever. Because he truly deserved it. It went downhill for him after Eddie's death, he was devasted. I saw this documentary and in his diary he was writing to Eddie, and really show depressed side. Through all the interviews I've seen and documentary, I believe he was an genuine nice guy and loved his family, but those 3 days I can't believe what was going through his mind, the 88 year old brain that it was, and why? because of us, he wanted to entertain us, and god dammit he did.
It's almost been 3 years, and since then the WWE has gone downhill no doubt, it pretty much went after Eddie's death, but Benoit's cemented it. R.I.P Chris, you were an icon in this bussiness, a legend, my idol & hero.
