I think TNA was going pedal to the medal since Raw had Smackdown superstars.... I would have had Jeff Hardy win it however and have RVD go heel and more into his "I'm The whole F'in Show because im a big shot" deal. I'm glad RVD won it. However, I thought due to Hardy being with TNA before and not gaining the strap that they would most likely put it on him before Van Dam. I seriously doubt they would put any belt on Jeff with his current legal situation.

But aside from the legal trouble, putting the belt on Jeff for like three weeks until RVD turned heel and took it wouldnt be that bad.

They already made RVD look like a bitch when Sting kicked his ass for like 10 minutes. I think it's a good idea to give him the belt, but smart thinking would have been to build up a feud and have him win on a PPV. Don't build it for one hour.

If TNA does this right, BIG IF, they can build up RVD while building towards sacrifice, making the rematch come off as even a bigger match then the initial championship match.
