How do you guys feel about RVD getting the clean win over Aj styles? Personally, it bothers me a little but It's cool that RVD won. Just asking becasue I'd guess some people probably are thinking here we go again? Are people ok with this or does it piss you off?

I think its bullcrap TBH. It just further makes TNAs main title look like a joke by having yet another "newcomer" come in and win the title after being with the company for a month.

Its different, RVD left on his own terms, he didnt get released. He didnt choose TNA as a last resort. And he's been out of mainstream wrestling for almost 2 years. So its not like TNA was just a back up for his WWE career. He went to TNA to because he wants to help them, not because thats all there is to go.

Ric Flair was his main source of winning as a heel. Flair wasn't there so it makes some sense.
But lack of build up and RVD having two hard fought matches to win it doesn't make sense. When he won, it was like the superbowl!?! Seriously? Christian at least he built himself up for the title and became a great champ. RVD winning has no build or excitement to it to be honest.

I love RVD and am very happy to see him win the title. My only problem is that he hasnt been doing much since he came to TNA. He made his debut against Sting, than got his ass kicked, tagged with Jeff for a few weeks, did the Lockdown match and then won the title. Would have liked him to do something with Sting first.

If your gonna win two hard fought matches, they should have a reason... Like ECW, at least it made sense because the three guys all had history and it made the face have all the reason to fight on.

I agree with this which kinda smooths it over for me,lol. I also agree with joey and the others that RVD's push shoulda been done better, but perhaps it wouldnt have given quite the shock effect.

I like it. It was shocking. I never saw the title being on the line coming. I never saw RVD winning it. It was a surprise. It tells the fans tune in because you never know whats going too happen. Raw you really don't expect too see a world title on the line unless its advertised. WWE would build it for weeks and weeks until there was no shock whatsoever.

It's TNA throwing all their eggs into one basket....again! Wasted two perfectly good PPV main event matches on a free TV show, they gave a guy with no build at all a World title victory like it was nothing, and ruins future main events that could have come out of this feud and eventually making RVD's win mean that much more. It's a stupid move and it's just TNA's way of trying to increase ratings instead of using logic in booking their TV shows.

I like RVD, and I wouldn't mind him winning had AJ not looked like complete crap. I think they really harmed AJ doing this.

I'm upset about it. AJ has been there since the beginning. RVD has been there, what? A month. It had no true buildup, and it just seemed rushed.
Plus the fact I'm not happy AJ no longer being the champ. But oh well, maybe some good will come of it.

Yeah... TNA is really ruining everything.... They give someone that's HUGELY OVER the title. Who gives a where he came from? He's ing OVER, and will make MONEY. Can we please complain about something that's actually something to bitch about? idk, like Ron Killings getting blown up?

It makes sense though, AJ Styles didn't have a way to cheat this time. It works and then it'll lead to a rematch. If Styles would've won, he would've had to get a DQ/No Contest result which you people (yeah, YOU PEOPLE) would've b****ed about. It'll lead to a rematch with either Van Dam retaining or Styles getting it back at Slammiversary. For all we know, it was a way to get the strap off Styles so Slammiversary wasn't one of those "Well, AJ has to drop the belt. History shows it" type deals since only Joe has retained which is a "big thing" in theory. Stop bitching about an OVER GUY, who's going to put an ass every 18 inches, going to put eyes on screens, and make it a success. Hell, I want TNA to put the belt on Hogan just to piss you guys off. Plus, like I've said time and time again.. it adds name value to the belt. Noone will give a damn about a world title history filled with Alex Shelley, Doug Williams, and Daniels. Sad, but it's true. Edit: HAPPY KVE!? God, you're a douche.

Putting PPV quality matches on free TV gets viewers. Which in turn makes the ad time during the show worth more. Also if they go out and have all poop matches on TV, and only good ones on PPVs, then everyone would bitch all the matches suck. Then not want to watch the PPV. What company someone worked for shouldn't matter, as long as they are over and are good. If anything RVD is an ECW grown talent, not WWE.
