Saw it on Saturday, and I can't say that I'm impressed. In fact, I really found myself bored the majority of the time. I have a great deal of issues, most that have been pointed out already. I don't think anyone can argue that the Action Scenes were too short, and the final battle was a shameful excuse for a Final Battle if I ever saw one.
I'm not a huge fan of "stirring the pot", but for those that claimed this would hands down be better and make more money than TDK, what now bitches?

I don't think and never said it would make more money and be better than TDK. I don't even compare the Iron Man films to Nolan's Batman films, they're two different animals altogether. Iron Man is a more fun, loose, comic book film while the Nolan Batman man films are quite dark, serious, and dramatic crime pictures.
Not really fair to compare even though they're films adapted from Comic Books.

I never heard that claim once in any Iron Man II related conversation I was part of on this board. I will say this though....I enjoyed both Iron Man movies more than TDK,thats comes from someone who ranks Batman and the Joker way higher than Iron Man on his favorite characters list.

I think people want to place too much weight on what shouldn't really be considered anything more than an approach, an adaptation, or a retelling of an established story. Yes, it's important to remain, in spirit, faithful to the source material, but I think what Marvel studios is trying to do here (and succeeding, thus far) is tell the story of The Avengers, in it's most early origins. In so many steps that it's taking to get there, they are doing just that. Iron Man established a starting point. The Incredible Hulk built upon that. Iron Man II built upon that and started to peel away some layers of the story. I expect Thor and Captain America to continue this trend as we march on toward The Avengers.
That said, as a comic book fan (devout, Wednesday warrior), I loved it, and bring on Thor!!!

They felt like comic book movies they were just fun.

lol at this becoming an argument about which is better, TDK or IM2, much like every movie related thread created in the last 18months
They are two very different things, and tbh, eventhough Im a much bigger fan of the Batman films, I have enjoyed Marvels' latest few films just because they are comic films, whereas TDK really doesn't use much from the comics tbh

I was never a huge fan of Batman, so while TDK was an awesome movie it just doesn't do much for me like Iron Man, Transformers or any other movie argued about on here does.

Jesus, you guys take things personally. I wasn't even specifically talking about this board, this forum, or even the internet for that matter. Just in general.
