I bought a Basic Chris Jericho in blue but I hate it. (It's too tall and lanky.) So I'm done with Basics. I'd give the Elites a chance if I ever find any of the Legends (Steamboat or LOD).

Legends Series 1 Ricky Steamboat, enough said. I'm with you man. Before that it was the CS8 NWO Hogan. I stopped collecting for the most part last year when Jakks got lazy and stopped caring. Loving Mattels Legends Line.

After years of collecting Jakks figures, I stopped buying them around 2007 and felt my collecting days were over. Even the first set of Mattel prototypes failed to spark any interest at collecting again.
But one day at Target, I saw the Wrestlemania Heritage Randy Orton and I was sold. I hated how the Jakks Orton had the Hulk Hogan pythons. I hated how it he had the same body as the earlier Batista's and Triple H's. And this figure blew me away! It was my dream Orton figure.
From that point on and 15 figures later, I'm back collecting again. And that Orton is still my favorite figure that I've ever owned. Thank you Mattel (my wallet, however, hates you).

Jakks CS Arn Anderson. It was on sale at FYE for like $2.95. I thought it was cool that they were making old school figures. Then I just started buying CS figures here and there. Then Mattel came out and I am a full blown addict.

i didnt want to stop, and i tried to not like mattels as much as i could because i figured i'd save more money, but then i saw the elites and how they were scale to the basics. Then they announced that the legends were in elite form and that was it for me. i grabbed everything i wanted that were in the stores at that time and ebayed the rest. now im hooked. so it wasnt a single figure that put me back on. i also like that these are the first wrestling figs that are all hight and weigt accurate.

Well I Collected M.U.S.C.L.E. When I Was A Kid But I Never Bought Wrestling Figures Based On Real People...
The TNA Toybiz Where The First Real Life Wrestling Figures I Got And Mattel's Kinda Reminded Me of Them......
I've Never Really Watched WWF And I Heard Mattel Like To Feed Lead Paint To Chinese Kids So Try'ed Not To Give in But Caved in And Got Christian Cage And Mickie James, CM Punk, And Ron "The Truth" Killings Elite Since They Used To Be in TNA...
The The Points of Articulation is The Same As Jakks Only More Stiff But Cost Way More...I'm Not Too Impressed.
I Took Christian Cage, CM Punk And "The Truth" Back Yesterday But Threw Away Mickie James Box Away So I'm Stuck With Her
That Macho Man Figure Might Pull Me Back in Tho...I Thought He Was Like Dead Or Something.....
I Will Be Getting All The Pre-Hogan Era TNA Jakks Figures Tho So I Have That To Look Forward Too...
But of Course I Shall Digress...

EG1 Shawn Michaels. Never found the cs version at a fair price, and it was worth it at $20.

I collected the Jakks Bone Crunching Action figures back in the mid 90's. I got just about every one I could find. Then when the TTL series started, that was the demise of Jakks for me. I didn't buy another Jakks fig, ever. Then when I was at Kmart some 11 years later, I saw the Wrestlemania Heritage series of Mattel when they first hit stores the first wk of January. When I saw that Randy Orton and Undertaker I immediately picked them up. I purchased EVERY figure up to Basic Series 4 and then I halted collecting because of the money. I even ended up having to unfortunately sell my whiole collection except elites, which I couldnt part with. Since then, I saw Elite Series 4 which I bought all of even though I couldnt really afford it. Since then, Ive bought Elite Series 5 and Legends Series 1. Its addictive. So, I am now an elite specific collector, and I guess you could say the figures that got me started collecting again was Wrestlemania Heritage, then again with Elite 4.

I stopped collecting toward the end of Jakks' run and didn't want to start over with Mattel but they're figures are too awesome not to buy. The ones that did it were the Nexus figures. I even bought arm bands and t-shirts from Ralph's. I'm almost done with the Corre, too.
