I already collect a fair number of other things but when I saw Elite 1 Undertaker at TRU about 2 years ago, it tempted me to buy WWE figures again but I resisted. Then Elite 8 Undertaker came along and became my first figure and officially got me started collecting WWE again after about a decade.

Legends Series 5
Macho Man, Bam Bam, Rick Martel, Akeem
Such a Powerful Line up imo, That whole series, the color , the character , all 4 of those guys convinced me to start collecting, then it wasnt long after that I had nearly all the legends, then it was shortly after that mattel announced legends werent doing well..... lol FML

I stopped collecting wrestling figures when I was 14. Last year, I didn't want to start collecting wrestling figures again due to the fact that once a figure is released it's already outdated as the wrestler may chage their attire or their gimmick entirely. But I took the plunge and am now an addict thanks to Mattel's Elite Zack Ryder figure.

Never truly collected *anything* before in my life, and only had wrestling figures as a kid. I had a ton of Jakks, but as a kid, I played with them and stuffed them in a box to store them, so they were hardly in the condition to be displayed or anything.
Stopped getting them as I got closer to entering my teens, but in 2009 I thought I'd buy a Jakks Undertaker figure as he is my favourite and thought it'd just be a nice little addition to my desk area. When I started looking for a good one, I found out about Mattel aquiring the license and saw the prototypes for Elite series 1. Needless to say, after having Jakks as a kid, I was amazed at the quality and attention to detail on these things. Throw in the fact that Undertaker was, naturally, included in the very first wave and I just had to get him.
Two years later and I'm in love with this line and a full-blown collector.

DM Ricky Steamboat
I considered his Legend figure, but decided not to start back, until I saw the Dragon -- match a Hasbro outfit & I'm in trouble

I has stopped getting figures at age 10 in 98 when I decided to stop watching wrestling. 3-4 years ago I saw a Jakks CS Ultimate Warrior but had to pass. Then when L4 hit stores I decided to see if there was any Ultimate Warrior figs and sure enough I turned crackhead on figs again.

Elite 1 Rey Mysterio, Basic 1 Big Show, Basic 1 Kofi Kignston, Two-Packs 1 Santino/Beth, and Two-Packs 1 HBK/Y2J. I got all of these in January of 2011, and I haven't looked back since.

I stop collecting figures in general because i got an xbox 360 and invested money into games for a couple of years but When I went to toys r us after christmas and saw they had DM ultimate warrior the amount of detail in the figure was amazing and thats when I started collecting wrestling figures and other figs again.
