I'm pretty sure they are like the DCIH figure's. A stem not a ball like the MU

broke down and got movie masters hal and tomar after seeing the movie. Are all DC figures made with that light of plastic? It feels very cheap. Apparently the 4 inch constructs work well with the 6 inch figs. damn u mattel

MM figures are different from the DCUC line in most ways.

I hate the new articulation on them...they now have less of a range of motion because of it. And it's almost like the torso's use that vac plastic which is a cheaper feeling plastic.

Thanks for the answers guys. Yeah, the articulation is poor. I cant understand why companies take two steps backwards with this stuff. You'd think Hal, who is the main character, would get the most articulation, yet the one that should probably get the least(tomar re), has the most . I really feel ripped off with the cheap plastic feel, lack of articulation, and the limited to no accesories. But,I'll still get a few some more since i really liked the movie.

I have a question, but it's sort of spoilerish, so I'm gonna post it in white:
Does anyone think or know if a MM version of Sinestro wearing his Sinestro Corps outfit from the end of the movie will be made? I really want one.

nothing planned from what I have read but since its a simple repaiint maybe we will see one. supposedly there will be 2 more toys r us 2 packs later in the summer so its hopefully possible. that would be a great addition to the line.

That's what the rumor is. The set was set to be released after the movie was out a bit so the set wouldn't be a spoiler. Since the GL Legends 3 set was canceled there has been a clamor for that version of Sinestro and Mattel knows there is money to be made.

I really hope we get one, but who was supposed to be in the GL Legends 3 series?

GL Legends 3 was to be an all re-paint line featuring the biggest stars such as Hal, Sinestro, Abin-Sur, Guy and John. The BAF was going to be Kilowog. The line was canceled when Mattel failed to find a vendor willing to offer it as an exclusive wave.

The original Sinestro Corps Sinestro is sooooo expensive now, a re-release would've been perfect because I really wanted a DC Classics version too. Oh well, at least I still have the blue and black version that came in a two pack with GL, the only thing is it came with a half green, half yellow lantern, I really want the oddly shaped yellow lantern that came with the single version. I'm probably gonna remedy that by getting the SC version of Scarecrow since he comes with it as well.

The plan was to use the new body for Sinestro so the hight issue would be fixed on the SC repaint figure as well. It really does suck no store would pick it up as an exclusive wave as it would have provided all the older GL figures with the most modern up to date repaints and offer figures from multi-packs as singles. Instead the stores over order the GL Movie figures which continue to clog pegs.

So they actually were gonna fix the height issue? Damn, no I'm really pissed. Is there any chance he will still be getting released in an upcoming DC Classics line? I really want that as well as a MM version.

From what has been said there is a chance for a SC Sinestro figure using the new mold down the line, which was taken as a standard Mattel PR bullcrap answer. With the GL movie being panned and called a failure, along with 3 waves (2 GL Classics, 1 DCUC) of GL figures its a long shot to see new GL figures in upcoming waves. There were rumors of a JLA wave, a JSA wave and a Flash themed wave coming up. I wouldn't drop $60-$90 for the first release yet but it could be a long time before we see another Sinestro figure in the DCUC style.

Terrible news But I am liking the idea of a Flash themed wave in the future. The JLA and JSA themed waves are also very interesting.

Well I think the JLA wave ended up being the Super friends figures and Wave 19 is for sure the JSA wave. Wave 20 is either going to be a Blackest Night wave (a few GL characters like Saint Walker and a Nekron BAF) or a Flash wave with a long awaited wally West figure, some of the Rouges and Professor Zoom. no Idea who the BAF is supposed to be.

As far as the rogues go, I hope it does include Prof. Zoom, along with Mirror Master, Pied Piper, Weather Wizard, Heat Wave, and The Trickster. I can't imagine who the BAF could possibly be either, but I honestly wouldn't mind a re-release or maybe a different version of Gorilla Grodd since I missed out on the first one.

Mattel said they were planning to, however as 18 and 19 show they still have a few left. Every rumored line up for the next few series are made up of themes. So either the Horsemen have put together figures that are going to sit in favor of re-paints or later this year we will start to see mixed waves again. Theme waves should be centered around a strong BAF.
-Also just checked the rumor wire, it seems even if there is a "theme" to the waves there will be a few oddball figures thrown in.
