That's not as big a drop as I expected honestly. Good to here they are going through with the sequel, I just hope people are willing to give it a chance.

I thought the movie was great and I would definitely go see the sequel. Not to mention I'm buying the toys, will definitely get the blu-ray, and may even grab the ps3 game at some point. I'm not sure why it got such bad reviews to be honest? I thought the special effects looked over the top in the trailers but when I saw the film I thought everything looked fantastic and it all worked. I thought all the acting was great, and the story was decent, I just don't get what people didn't find entertaining about it. I didn't expect Inception, but as far as a great entertaining summer flick it was great imo. My only reservation about a sequel is that I really want Reynolds to do Deadpool, and I feel like that continues to get pushed back due to his big budget obligations. Now that I have GL, and loved it, I want Deadpool, and then another GL movie. Selfish, I know. Do we know how the toy sales and all the marketing campaigns have gone? I expect to see the toys the second time around but not so much the huge marketing push the original got. Either way, I'm buying a set of the characters I like now with the understanding that we may never actually see the sequel or we may never get this great lineup of toys the next time around. EDIT: Maybe someone knows this, but are there any plans for any of a yellow sinestro, carol ferris, or hector hammond figure? Either in the 4 inch or movie masters line? I didn't know if anyone had heard lineups for more waves or seen protos? Thought I would ask.

I think I'm going to collect the 3.75 inch line, the stores in my area are carrying both lines but the smaller scale line is more suited for me since most of my comic figures are in a small scale. But anyway, are there any plans for a better version of Parallax? I've only seen the one that can capture the Green Lantern in stores.

As far as I know, the only other Parallax is the one that can be made from the Movie Masters collect and build line (though I've seen what that Parallax looks like and it's just as big a disappointment).

yeah he is pretty disappointing as a c&c fig. btw if anyone is looking for the next few MM figs, Amazon has Sinestro, Krona, Maskless Hal, and Isamot all for $15.99 with free shipping if you spend over $25. I ordered all 4 yesterday.

Yeah, the other Parallax figure that can eat up the smaller figures is a lot better than the BAF Parallax. Though, TBH, neither of them really look anything like the actual movie version.

my guess is mattel went based on concept art. i did like the cloudy movie version, just kinda hard to make that effect in a toy.

The insect version of Parallax in the comics probably would've made for a much better figure than the crap-cloud movie version.

I happen to have grown up around actor Peter Sarsgaard (just a fact, not bragging), and think it would be cool to have his GL movie character as a figure.

i did see a proto for a hector fig in mm scale. supposedly its one of the last set to be released in the mm line. Another rumor i saw on a few fig sites says that there will be two more tru exclusive 2 packs released and one will have the yellow sinestro.

I know this is a little off subject, but I wonder if "The Dark Knight Rises" figure line will be in the 3.75 scale? Also any other DC movies that are planned the figure lines should be in that scale as well, that is if they ever intend on forming the Justice League at any point. We would already have the figures and it would be really cool to line them all up on display. I just hope the next Superman isn't some skinny guy with no appeal or acting ability (sorry if you liked the Superman movie, I however did not)

Can you post a pic of the Hector Hammond figure? Thank you. That's a pretty cool figure but it's too bad he doesn't come with a wheelchair though.

I know this is a little off subject, but I wonder if "The Dark Knight Rises" figure line will be in the 3.75 scale? Well so far we've seen from them Batman Begins - 5" scale figures 6" scale figures 13" Batman 30" Batman (or was that TDK) TDK - 4" scale figures 5" scale figures 6" scale figures 9" Batman & Joker figures 12" TRU exclusive 2 ups of Batman, Batman unmasked & Joker 13" Batman Superman Returns - 5" scale figures 6" statue like figures 13" Superman figure Green Lantern - 4" scale 6" scale 9" (Galactic scale) Hal & Kilowog and supposedly as TRU exclusive 12" Hal MM 2-Up (was listed in TRU computer) I was actually kind of upset that we didn't get the 5" scale for GL seeing we did for the other three movies.

I bought Green Lantern with the Giant fist. While I was browsing the Green Lantern section, I noticed a 4'inch box set with several different Green Lantern characters. Has anyone bought this? I am temped to buy it but I would like to see loose pictures of the figures first.

just got my amazon order with the 4 new figs. Sinestro is pretty badass. Nice little scars on his face and nice details. Isamot is huge and well sculpted. Krona is seriously awful. I only got it for the C&C peice. The gem is the maskless Hal. The little Bzzd fig is a cool accessory, the die cast ring is beautiful, and the paint apps are nice. Mattel added glow in the dark paint to it so he really looks like hes charging up! With a head swap with the regular hal, you couuld have the3 best version of hal with what Mattel gave us to work with.

For anyone interested, Target has the GL Movie Masters on clearance for around $10 (but even on clearance I still don't like these figures lol).
