Hey guys. With all the talk about the new Mattel Jakks news. Im just wondering where the public stands. I know i find this very dissapointing. But if Matell atleast makes their figs in scale with Jakks. I will surly embrace them. I just want to be able to use the things like my RSR and my huge fig collection havingt them in the same world as the new figs. It will be so sad to see cs die though. I am excited at the posiblyt of an RA style tna line and 6sided RSR. But want my new WWE figs to be in scale na dmy CS line to coninue! Since we now know what the inevitable truth is. Perhapse it is our best effort to patetion to matell. Let them know we want to keep the new line in scale with the old line. And clue them into the fan suggestions that can be found on wf. IF anyone is serious about trying to make a statment to mattel please join me at: wfigs.proboards48.com/index.c.cgi?board=wrestlingfigs&action=display&thread=1202939041

Mattel is my least favorite toy company. I'll be getting the Jakks TNA figures though.

i will collect the jakks tna line IF they are similar in scale to ra/da figs. as for mattell making wwe figs, no way for me. i've got WAY too many jakks wwe figures to start buying mattell ones. so, jakks making tna figs similar to wwe, that would be my dream scenario, but i've been collection figs for 20+ years & i have invested more time & energy into my jakks collection than any other & i absolutely refuse to start over with mattell (unless by some incredible miracle the figs they make can blend into my collection i have now...if not tho, forget it, i can't take the hassle)

I oppose.
Jakks has been signed with the WWF/WWE since 1996. You just can't quit now.

I'm gonna play the waiting game on that decision. I don't see their line coming remotely close to Jakks, so i'd have to guess it's a no go, but i'm hoping to be suprised.

I hope that mattel will make their figs in scal with Jakks RA ones, and Jakks will make TNA figs in RA style...then i hope when the contract will endi in 2012 wwe and jakks will sign a new contract and we'll see WWE Jakks RA figs again.
If this won't happen, i'll just stop collectiong WWE figs...

As much as I love Mattel's DC lines...since they got the rights in 2003/04 their distribution has always been very poor. Now as far as me collecting wresting figures goes I'll probably still buy figures of the few modern wrestlers I like...HHH, Flair, Sting, Steiners, Taker, HBK, Angle, Jericho, Helms. But unless there's a Classic line I'll pretty much be done with wrestling figure. Again not because I think they'll be bad, because I think Mattel will blow Jakks away...but rather because there won't be a Classic line and there's very few modern wresltlers I find worthy enough to spend my money on and half of them will probably be retired in 2010.

It's hard to tell right now, i mean if they keep some sort of Classic Series that are in scale with the current line I will continue to collect them - if not i'm done with it.

if they are in scale, as detailed as RA\DA, and as playable as RA\DA' i'll maybe be getting some... but even at the moment i'm kinda passive collector, and i collect only figs i like of guys i like(since i started)... but i can't dig jakks- over the last year the came up with all those lines: maximum aggression micro aggression deluxe build&brul bubble heads and all those rings it all takes money and time to develop, and closing them after 3 years(because TNA can barely sale with one line, so the surely won't sale 10 lines), sounds like a waste of those...

Well I'm done collecting. After 2008 I'm done. I will not collect TNA figures. I hate TNA and if Jakks want that then I hate Jakks in 2009 and 2010. I hate Mattel there figures break way to easy and some of the joints get stuck and don't move and when they do move they break. And yes I'm a little pissed off about this. IMO dum move by Jakks.

Can you imagine if both Mattel & Jakks produced figures that were in scale with each other? It would be like a ing wrestling figure utopia! Well, I can dream can't I? I just hope the CS line finds a way to continue.

I will probably continue to buy both TNA and WWE figures. Unless they are not scale with each other, then I'd probably just buy TNA.

im pretty much done with WWE figures after jakks ends their production i highly doubt mattel is going to produce such quantity & quality that jakks has for the last 15 years if jakks keeps the same "Style" for TNA figures ill probably pick up a few here and there of the guys i like in TNA like daniels, styles & lethal but after jakks is done with WWE im going to spend the rest of my time "catching up" and getting figures i want that i missed

I'm going to wait and see how the mattel figures will look, then I'll decide to keep going or not.

I might give mattel a chance, I gotta see the protos first though. And By the time WWE ends with Jakks I will have plenty of figures to continue my personal fed and I can mix in RA styled TNA figures.
