Today shows why Liverpool won't finish top 4. A chance to create a bigger gap and we blow it. After feeling like this a few months back I should be pleased with what we have achieved this season but I will always look back on it as a missed opportunity.

We may have had a beyond awful season, but Liverpool pulling off the biggest choke in a decade is a nice consolation prize

We may have had a beyond awful season, but Liverpool pulling off the biggest choke in a decade is a nice consolation prize It's not even the big choke of the last few seasons. United were 12 points ahead of City in February two seasons ago. Liverpool have choked in this title race no more than Arsenal or Chelsea.

Yaya. "Unstoppable", as Denzel would say.

Can't describe how much I love Poyet. Gotta say congratulations on survival, you showed incredible fight and passion at the end. Do you still expect a mass clear out of players or have some of them done enough to earn their stay now?

It's just a big overreaction because it's Liverpool... Everyone hates Liverpool. Losing to Chelsea is hardly the biggest choke of the decade. Arsenals this season was bigger imo.

Choke of the decade was hyperbole. I just enjoy watching Liverpool up. Arsenal didn't even choke imo. No one really expected them to win the title (apart from some of their own fans perhaps).

I know a lot of Liverpool fans would have been annoying if they won the league but IMO Arsenal fans would have been just as bad.

Was so down after getting humped by Spurs and losing to Everton pretty much confirmed relegation for me. Still in shock we've done it. Still expect players to leave except maybe Colback & Larsson who've been excellent in the past 5 games.

Almost half time and the title is City's I'd say at this point. Only time I'll ever want Newcastle to win to deny the scousers any chance of the title.

Congrats to Manchester City. Would have preferred Liverpool, but at least it's not Mourinho.

Congrats to Manchester City. Would have preferred Liverpool, but at least it's not Mourinho. Yeah, pretty much. City and Liverpool have both been great this season, well deserved 1st and 2nd. Good season overall (not for me or you Himmy lol), shame it couldn't go the last day but it can't always. Now begins the wait though. The longest possible time before the Premier League returns. 3 whole months. Guess we'll have to make do with that Brazilian tournament that begins in a few weeks....

Could be worse. Liverpool will hopefully stutter now they have more games to play and we'll take advantage of the lack of Europe. Excited for the summer.

Congrats to Manchester City. Would have preferred Liverpool, but at least it's not Mourinho. Mourinho has proven yet again what a vile scum he is this season. Congrats to City, I accepted the title wasn't ours after the Chelsea defeat so it doesn't hurt so bad today. Next season promises to be even more competitive with United, Arsenal and maybe even Everton who are gonna be stronger.

Most United supporters seem to forget that and say "This squad won't be able to cope with CL next season!".
