Well we all saw the promo. Cool for those who want him back, anybody whose seen him wrestle the past 7 years though can recognize how lazy hes become and how he no longer has the same care for the sport as he used too. Hopefully he changes that, but if he doesn't I wont be surprised. Bare in mind, this is coming from an RVD fan too

I just died, came back to life, and died again. This is awesome! We don't need Rampage.

I'm happy to have him back...BUT, WWE just handles people's returns so horribly. I know they want ratings and buyrates, but I prefer SURPRISES.
Rather than an article on WWE.com and what will probably be over a month of video packages so that by the time he re-debuts I'm already sick of him.....I'd rather he show up on some random episode of RAW or at a PPV and attack somebody or save somebody.
Again...I'm happy to have him back, I just would have rather it had been a surprise and he had just shown up and shocked the world. Now, like I said, WWE is going to beat it to death for a month with video packages and when he actually shows up it will mean sooooo much less. Like the way Jericho, Kane and Undertaker aaaaallllllways have their returns spoiled by video packages (except Jericho this year at the Rumble, which was actually GOOD since it was a shock!).

A Punk/RVD feud would be epic.

Remember when big returns used to be an unannounced surprise? Now we know months in advance because they are so desperate to sell tickets/ppv's. It used to be a reward, now its an incentive.
But yeah, I'm pretty excited

Wonder if he will align himself with Heyman, or do his own thing? Surely, their paths will cross.

Yeah I was hoping they would have kept it a surprise, but it's not that big of a deal.

Awesome that RVD is coming back. I'm stoked since RVD is one of my all-time favorites. I'm interested in seeing if he'll be working a part-time schedule or if he's back as a weekly thing. I think he'll get involved in some sort of angle with Heyman and Punk that will ultimately lead to Heyman choosing to side with RVD and turn on Punk.
I agree, though, that it sucks they couldn't have just let it be a surprise. It would've been awesome if he came back without any sort of hype and just shocked the hell out of Philly.

Anything to prevent building new stars, eh WWE?? Instead they will sign guys who are in their 40s to come back and wrestle for their company, instead of finding a way to get new, young talent on TV.
