I love it when athletic wrestlers slow down a little when they age and people call them lazy, even though they can still go better than 75% of the current roster. RVD and Rey Mysterio both suffer from this.

WWE must have offered him a LOT of money. He's never been shy about letting people know how much he always hated the WWE travel schedule and the backstage politics of WWE. I'm actually shocked that he would go back. This has to be about the money.
As much as I am a huge RVD fan, I'm trying not to get too excited yet because his TNA run didn't exactly go that well, and he's 42 years old and has developed a reputation of becoming very lazy and sloppy in the ring. This just seems like him making one last money grab before he retires.

I am actually looking forward to finally seeing RVD back in the WWE. I would like him to get any title before he retires and a vintage entrance RVD entrance, I just how they use him right.

RVD was the wrestler who made me start watch wrestling again years ago, just flipping through channels and seeing him do some of the most exciting moves I've ever seen. He's been one of my favorite wrestlers ever since. I'm almost just as excited to possibly get a Mattel figure of him. Would really love to go to Philadelphia to see this.

I do hope Jericho sets his ass straight for all the crap that spewed from his mouth though.

I'm stoked to see RVD come back. He could be part of the Heyman click and take on Punk. Also I would love to see matches with him against Daniel Bryan Danielson, Cesaro, The shield, and especially Bourne. I think with Jericho going on tour they called in RVD as a big name to put young guys over.

Either stay in TNA who also just took on a travel heavy road schedule, and get less money and less exposure. Or go to WWE, work the same type of schedule, and get paid A LOT more and make one last run in the big leagues. That responce after his promo last night ALONE should be enough to motivate RVD into giving it his very all one last time.

Because guys like Jericho, Christian, and William Regal never helped teach the younger guys to improve. Once again the same problem we had with Fandango and Bray Wyatt. People see a 60 second promo and start bashing. Its not as many this time, but I am sick of pessimistic people here. RVD can put on an entertaining match and when in TNA always made the other guys look great. Are we forgetting that the great rock was booed from the start practically and then stepped up and became great. Guys like Stone Cold were gave the gimmick of the ring master and were treated like trash but became great. Who is to say guys like Curtis Axel, Fandango, and Bray Wyatt aren't future Main Eventers. Its funny everyone doubted Fandango then everyone became a fan boy. A lot of people booed Curtis Axel Idea and are starting to come around. How is it that so many members here are so full of hate that they are complaining about a wrestler based on a 60 second promo. Jericho has put over Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk many times. Who is to say RVD can't help the stars the same amount. Sure he phoned it in, in TNA. However it was evident TNA was to big on making Hogan look great to give anyone else a moment to shine. RVD may have phoned it in, however those matches of RVD are a lot better then most of the matches in WWE today. RVD coming in could be good or bad. I'm not saying everyone should love him being back, but atleast give it a chance. Maybe they are future main eventers, and maybe they aren't. But the problem right now is that there are too many people presented as "main eventers" and as a result we don't have a real midcard anymore. RVD is only going to make that situation worse. I liked Fandango and Bray Wyatt because I believe that Johnny Curtis and "Husky Harris" were never given a fair shot. People don't like Curtis Axel because he's being given too much too soon. Joe Hennig deserves to be on TV (as do a lot of other talents), but I don't quite think he deserves to be treated like the next big thing. WWE should be trying to build a real midcard, not hotshotting everyone into the main event. Why not bring up guys like Zack Ryder, Justin Gabriel, Alex Riley, Yoshi Tatsu, or Tons of Funk and use them to feud with the new talents? The roster is so heel heavy and they're all getting shoved into programs with the top guys instead of being built up as solid midcard acts. WWE needs faces, but they don't bother to push the faces they have, and just let them rot as enhancement talents. RVD might put over all the heels, but there's no room for face talents to grow because RVD's very presence takes up a spot that someone could be pushed into. That I can agree with then. It seems the main event heels beat the midcard faces. John Cena beats the main event heels. The Mid Card faces job to the mid card heels. The mid card faces get wins on superstars. Yeah it sucks. It all comes down to them not wanting the heels to get credible wins, and for no face to get close to dethroning Cena. Back in the Attitude Era and even in current TNA there is several top faces and heels that if given 1 match on the top of the show for the title you know they have a chance. TNA has like 10 guys that could be world champion and draw a crowd. WWE has maybe 5. Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, John Cena, CM Punk, jericho.

Remember when big returns used to be an unannounced surprise? Now we know months in advance because they are so desperate to sell tickets/ppv's. It used to be a reward, now its an incentive. But yeah, I'm pretty excited Hey yo! Perfecto! I couldn't have said it better myself.
