Jakks has the license of Hogan. If TNA had a game with another company then we may not see Hogan or any TNA guy in a WWE game.

Jakks has been working on a lot of their own IPs lately and have been trying to snag more mainstream third party properties. I could easily see them dropping the TNA license in the near future. If that happens, the floodgates of badass Elite Flashbacks can commence!

yeah its a strange one....
remember when Nash had figures released by Toybiz for TNA and Jakks for WWE whilst being a regular on TNA tv?he mustnt have signed an exclusive contract with one or the other.whereas Hogan may have.....Jakks may have viewed him as a way to anchor their TNA & Legends lines at the time.

Trust me when I say, TNA fans want Hogan out of TNA just as badly as people waiting on his Mattel figure...

Brooke Hogan was just fired from TNA and Hulk hasn't been on tv in what will be four weeks... no way in hell Hulk is sticking around. I'm salivating at all the possibilities once he signs with mattel. How about a Ringside exclusive Rip figure?!

I'd love to know the inner workings of how those contracts actually go.

I believe the Hulkster's contract with TNA is guarenteed, thus why we haven't seen Hogan released yet. Not sure how long his contract is, but I don't expect him going anywhere until it is completed unless they work out some type of buyout.

But why in gods name would you want a Rip figure? Have you seen No Holds Barred? Thats just a silly comment

No Holds Barred was a HUGE part of my childhood....Watched it several times. I recently watched it again, not as good as I remember it.

I think this whole Legends contract stuff is a pain in the butt. We are missing out on so many awesome wrestlers. Agreed...my shelf is NAKED without Hogan lol

Hmmm.... if JAKKS had been on-the-ball at all with figures - I might actually have bought a Brooke Hogan figure (since I consider myself a collector of Hulk Hogan figures). Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of Hogan in TNA and we can get him back to WWE, which is the only company that knows how to merchandise Hogan correctly!

When we start to see Hogan figures, I hope he's able to bring along some of the mid-80s guys that the "Flashbacks" line is neglecting.

Piper, Snuka, Orndorff, Orton Jr, Bundy, Savage, Andre, Sheiky Baby, DiBiase. Apart from Brutus, Zeus and a couple of tag teams (and maybe JYD), we're pretty much set.

I'd add Valentine, Studd, Muraco, and Santana to that list. Would be nice to get Hercules, Bravo, and Koko as well. Not to mention the managers.

Ehh, they're all kind of "throw 'em in if the Legends line comes back and makes it to series 30" type names rather than worthy of a Flashback figure. Maybe we'd get a Koko flashback because he's a Hall of Famer, he's got a cool accessory, and he was a Hasbro guy, but even then, I think five more Undertakers and Macho Mans would be on the priority list before him.
