I am so confused by something. As i don't really follow baseball like I do football
does Russell Wilson play In the NFL and MLB??? Everywhere I've looked I cannot find ONE straight answer. And I just saw a tweet he posted of his jersey hanging in the Texas Rangers locker room. Is he a modern day 2 sport professional athlete? Are there rules preventing him from doing both? Or does he choose to only do football? If someone could clarify that would be awesome

He plays football. He played baseball in college and was a prospect. As mostly a publicity move the Rangers have drafted him and now have his rights should he desire to play baseball. He most likely will not. They invited him to spring training this year and he is going for a short time. He won't actually play this season, or in real games. It's mostly a way to get publicity, sell spring training tickets, and sell jerseys.

Are you leaving out Bo on purpose? It would be cool, and I do like Wilson. If he were a RB or CB I could see it happening. But I don't think a QB can do it. Too much extra prep time is needed as a QB for the season. Not to mention I doubt the Seahawks would be very supportive of their franchise QB risking injury playing baseball.

Yeah it would be awesome. I would honestly start watching rangers games if he was playing in them. Id probably even try to get tickets to Sox vs Rangers at Fenway if given the chance. He really won me over in the SB. Not saying I'm jumping on the bandwagon but I doubted the crap out of him beating Peyton's Broncs. And not only did they win they EMBARASSD THEM. Wilson proved he is a super athlete. (No rusev pun intended )

Can make for more stupidity than normal sir. XD

Wilson was barely a prospect, he wasnt good in the minors. Odds are he never wouldve made the majors.
He made the right choice.
Bo and Deion were ARGUABLY the two greatest athletes ever. To play both sports and at a high level....never gonna see it again

Sup boys.
Those ''Best shape of my life'' comments are rollin' in like crazy right now.
Trout looks like he's in mid-season form right now, he really wants that MVP award this year.

To play both sports and at a high level....never gonna see it again Bo > Deion. Not to take anything away from Deion, but Bo was a far better player all the way around. Deion excelled at football as did Bo, but Deion was never all that great at baseball. Don't get wrong, it takes a lot to play baseball at the MLB level, but Bo did it better than Deion did and I'd argue played his football position as good as if not better than Deion. Bo was the best pure athlete I've ever seen.

He was hitting well before his array of knee and feet injuries (and hit well in 2012 all but one month in April). Hamilton just can't lay off of that low and away pitch, and swings and misses on anything that isn't a meatball down the middle. I'm just looking forward to another year of Trout-standing records being broken.
