I can't believe what I read last night. I didn't watch the PPV (mainly cause I don't wanna spend $50 every 3 weeks to see the same stuff I see on Raw for free) but if I did order it, I would be ticked off.
The WWE has clearly ruined Daniel Bryan. He should have remained WWE Champion since SummerSlam, and all the WWE has done is made him look like a complete joke now. When the time comes when he does get a reign with the WWE Title, I think by then most people will be over it. Everyone who has put their passion and emotion into wanting Daniel Bryan to be WWE Champion, is either burned out now, or has lost faith in it, thanks to the WWE over the past few months.
They did the same with Ryback - who last year this time was the most over guy in the company, and should have been the one to beat Punk for the WWE Title - yet they made him look like a mid-card jobber now.
Is the same faith in store for Daniel Bryan?? Has the WWE ruined him for the fans??

Did it ruin CM Punk when he lost the title immediately? No. He won it back. He held it for 400+ days. He's the best in the world.

It's not over yet, but it's not looking pretty.
I completely disagree that Bryan should have kept the title at Summerslam. Orton stealing it out from underneath him was perfect. It accomplished Orton's heel turn, made Bryan the hero who had been wronged, and established a huge angle for the fall. The mistake was when Bryan won the title at Night of Champions. He should not have touched that title again until they were ready to commit to him holding onto the belt, whether that was last night, next month, or Wrestlemania. The payoff already technically happened, so now it's just sort of floundering.

They're still building, trust me. This is a testament to people's short attention spans, because they want it to be over already, with no story, just "Daniel Bryan wins forever whatevereven"

I have no problem with Bryan losing, but the thing is we've already seen him win the title twice. When he does finally win, it won't be nearly as satisfying.

I just hope we don't have to see another DB vs Randy Orton PPV match. I don't think he is ruined, but they have damaged his momentum a lot! I still can't get over that botched superkick last night. I thought DB would kick out, but they went with it.

They should have never had him win the belt in the first place, because when he does finally get a sustained run, it'd have been so worth it.

This is the exact same situation that happened at the exact same PPV last year. Ref screws MEGA HOT wrestler out of the belt. And wrestler loses all momentum. Dispite wwe thinking the loss dosent hurt that MEGA HOT wrestler because he lost screwy. When in fact it does.

He's not ruined. He just needs a big pay off first but that's looking more and more unlikely to happen before Wrestlemania. He needs to get revenge on about half the roster first.

Never getting revenge on The Shield, coupled with an idiotic loss at Wrestlemania was the knock out, and then turning him heel was the bullet to the head.

But HIAC was the start of the downfall. Id say it's the same for Bryan.

Maybe they just don't want somebody who looks homeless as WWE Champion. With that beard and hair, Bryan looks more homeless than Homeless Helms

Did it ruin CM Punk when he lost the title immediately? No. He won it back. He held it for 400+ days. He's the best in the world. Totally different scenario though. Punk lost the belt do to interference by Kevin Nash, then wrestled Triple H, then tagged with Triple H to wrestle The Awesome Truth, and then got his title rematch with Del Rio. Punk wasn't booked to look weak or incompetent like they are doing with Daniel Bryan. Also, as for your statement of "He's the best in the world" can be questionable now too. Tagging with a mid card guy like R Truth or Big E. Langston and feuding with Ryback and Curtis Axel isn't really being the 'best in the world' anymore.
