Just started to watch this for the first time in probably 10 years. I just remember really wanting the Rock to win the fatal 4-way, because even to this day, he never won any of his titles at WM. He's gone into WM 3 times as WWE champion and lost all 3 times. This would have been the perfect time considering Austin was out. Anyways, I'm 5 minutes in and paused it to make this thread. The opening video package sucked and did not give me goosebumps or get my hyped like usual. And 13,000 fans at the Anaheim Pond is a little underwhelming to say the least. I can see why Vince only wants to do stadiums from here on out. Should have made that decision in 1998.
Edit: In the opening JR said 13,000 then during the first match King said 19,700. Wiki says 18,000. Whatever

2000 is probably my least favourite WM. Even WM11 had its moments (Owen finally getting a title, Allied Powers).

I'd love to defend WM2000, as it's my child hood summed up. But, yeah it kinda sucks.
Love the idea behind the main event, but it was a terrible match. Can't believe they buried Big Show so badly.

The Mcmahon egos really got in the way. Steph looks really hot though.

I liked parts of the show. The main event being one of them. But overall, yes the show is a drag

WM 2000 I feel wasn't THAT bad! I certainly feel it's better than WM XI and XV. the main event was a clunker, but the first ever 3-way ladder match for the Tag Titles was great for it's time, Angle vs Jericho vs Benoit was decent for what it was,the Hardcore Battle royal was good bloody fun, and I actually enjoyed Too Cool/Chyna vs The Radicals mainly for Eddie's chickensh*t heel/ Latino Heat performance.

To think that Big Show was meant to take on UnderTaker, and Austin was meant to be apart of it somewhere...

I was at that mania!! Cheap pop ;D From what you remember, how was it from a live perspective? For me, WrestleMania 2000 didn't come across as anything exciting for me. The fact the main event was a cluster****. This match was a cheap way for us to see all four McMahon's on the tele and see Vince McMahon turn heel. The two fall Triple Threat match was decent. Those Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, & Chris Benoit should have been given more time, the Triangle Latter Match was full of dead spots, and the main event was too long for my taste. WrestleMania 2000 has not held up well over the last 13 years. I will say it was better than WrestleMania XV.

Worst Wrestlemania of all time and I don't care what anyone says.
When Trish's tits can't save the show that's when you know that you're f*cked.

I still rank the ladder match as my favorite between E&C, Hardy's & Dudley's.
