So after reading all of these threads about Punk, after last night are you guys mad at him for not showing up or do you understand why?
I mean, I'm disappointed in him he let all of us down by not showing up. WWE would have taken him back and was all up to Punk wether or not he wanted to show up. In addition some people bought tixs to shows to see before knowing he would quit, people bought tixs to Axxess, people poured money into this guy and he just quit on us. He took his ball and went home.
On the other hand I can kinda understand where he's coming from because he deserves better than a feud then one with Kane, why injure your body and play "Russian roulette with your life" by going out there and always risking your life when you're not happy doing it and know that you will be leaving in a few months (July). So right now i'm on the fence, I have mixed feelings about this situation.
I kinda have mixed feelings because we still don't know everything that happened behind closed doors.
How about you guys?

I'm just upset by the whole situation. I don't place blame on anyone in particular, because I have no idea what happened. I'll reserve judgment for all of that until we get a clear explanation, if, in fact, we ever do. As someone who looked forward to seeing Punk every week, it just sucks knowing he's not around and probably won't be for quite some time.

I kind of am more mad at HHH for being a dumb mother er and thinking people want to see Orton an Batista in 2014.. I payed money to watch Wrestlemania xxx live to see CM Punk but nope won't be able to.. If it wasn't for the great roster besides Orton Tista it's gonna be a great show!!

I still think it is a work. (or he and the WWE came to terms with him taking off) I don't think he just left on his own. Which I think we will know for sure at WM. If he is at WM in a major match then it was planned all along. But if I am wrong he did just walk out on his own then I lost respect for him for not being professional in the way he handled it.

You can't really be mad at Punk for not showing up last night, when it was probably never even planned to begin with. We still don't have a single solid piece of information as to why he left to begin with, why he hasn't come back, or if WWE even wants him back at this point. I just think it's kinda silly to speculate and get angry about a situation which we essentially have no real knowledge about.

I don't agree with him leaving, but I don't hate him.

Punk hasn't said a word about his reasons, nor has wwe said anything about his departure. As for last night, the WWE had no choice but to acknowledge Punk and the fact that he's MIA just to handle the crowd. It was a must. We probably wont hear his name from them again unless he comes back. As for his reasons, I'm sure he'll eventually speak to that. If he doesn't return to McMahonland, I wouldn't expect to hear anything until after his contract expires in july.

Not at all. I'm in full support of what he's doing and I think it's justified personally. That being said, I have no idea what he is thinking or what he's discussed with Vince. So I don't even fully understand what it is I support. I support the idea of him being fed up, but it could honestly just be him being hurt and needing a physical and mental break. I expect people to be butt hurt because we have a false sense of entitlement as fans, and I'm with people in wanting Punk on my TV, but Punk needs to look out for himself, no one else is going to do it for him.
Punk doesn't owe any of us anything imo, and I'm thankfully for the time, energy, and entertainment he has given us during his run with WWE. Plus, I think he'll be back.

I'm not mad for two reasons......
1)we have ZERO idea as to why he walked....for all we know it could be a HUGE personal crisis. I don't have the facts to judge him so I cant be mad.
2)I believe He will be back.

Not at all. Who knows what goes on through his mind.
If anything it just makes me wonder what Bryan's place on the Mania card would be if Punk stayed and faced Hunter. If he was penciled in to be in the title match then I would be a little bummed out that now he has to face Hunter instead.
I still think something's gotta give in the title match. The crowds can't boo both men in the biggest show of the year's main event.

All signs point to this being like how when Austin walked away a few years ago. Punk really does think he is the end all to be all. This is wrestling. It's fake. It's predetermined. It's not real. He is an actor. Also he is under contract and as far as anyone knows, he doesn't have creative control. And you know what? If he had a problem working Kane, a person who has been active a lot longer than Punk and has also been in the WWE a hell of a lot longer than Punk, then Punk should have his head checked. Kane is one of the safest and loyal people the WWE has. I hear and read nothing but good things about Kane as a person and performer. So who in the heck is Punk to waltz in there and refuse to work someone that has proven himself a good hand? And that's even if all that is true. Punk was upset that he isn't in the main event and blah blah blah. From the looks of things Cena isn't the main event either. Punk should do as he is told. If he is suppose to job to JTG? Then job to JTG. If he is suppose to win the Royal Rumble? Then win the Royal Rumble. I don't like some parts of my job, I can't just get up and not do it.
He had only till July. It's not that far off. Honor your dates and do the right thing on your way out. For a guy who claims to be such a "wrestling" fan. He sure took the bitch way out.

This is what it comes down to for me. If he didn't like his situation, that's fine he's is more than free to walk off into the sunset in July. But be a man and honor your contract that you are paid handsomely for. Fans al across the world paid to come to WM expecting to see him perform. He gave them all the shaft by taking the easy (bitch) way out

I just think there is a lot we don't know about the situation still so it's hard to have a good, fully formed opinion. Instinctually I am disappointed. I understand there are always going to be injury's and if he's legitimately too hurt to go then fine, but if he can still wrestle he should have finished up his contract. I do believe at some point he will be back and they will work something out, if nothing else I think they might still pull something off for Wrestlemania, despite not getting it together for last night.

I'll hold judgement till we get some facts. It's just weird to hear people praise him as a hero for walking, when no body really knows the circumstances behind the whole thing.

I'm not going to be mad at someone for making a career choice that they felt was in their best interest.

I'm mad because all his figures' prices are going up. My mom didn't let me get E20 Punk when it was $15 on Amazon before he quit and now it's $50. That's the only reason why I'm mad, other than that, no.

I'm convinced he's coming back soon. If not they wouldn't have played his music last night. Just a couple weeks ago they were pretending like he didn't exist. I think either he's coming back soon or they made an agreement for him to take time off and return at a later date.

He's probably fighting his mother or something like that

Theres to many unanswered questions and not enough facts to answer this.
If he has naging injuries, then yes, I totally understand needing a break.
If the passion is no longer there, then again, I understand.
However. If its over his current spot an plans changed and he didn't like it. Then yes I'm mad. I'm mad that he would let his ego take control over his fans loyalty. People who spend their hard erned money on him. To say " The hell with all that" and leave. Its bullcrap. Either way, he needs a reality check, because he is far from gods gift to wrestling.

I'm not mad, I'm very happy that he walked out. I have never liked him and never will, so I'm happy he left.
