I still think it is a work. (or he and the WWE came to terms with him taking off) I don't think he just left on his own. Which I think we will know for sure at WM. If he is at WM in a major match then it was planned all along. But if I am wrong he did just walk out on his own then I lost respect for him for not being professional in the way he handled it. How the heck do you think it's still a work? If Punk was coming back for Mania it would of happened last night, in his hometown, 4 weeks left for a decent build-up for his Mania match. Punk is obviously missed by a lot of people, but he's not missing from the show. Punk hasn't been relevant since August with his feud with Brock. He's seemed like a filler & misused/booked, The Heyman angle got old QUICK with him fighting Ryback & Axel every week. The program with the Wyatts & Bryan was okay ( same with the shield feud/ handicap match) at 35 years old & his contact being up after PayBack, I wouldn't doubt that we don't see Punk for a few years at least...

No.
You should be able to leave your job if you want. Yeah, as a fan it may suck but sometimes you have to look at things not through the glasses of being a fan.
Their bodies get broken down and for someone like Punk who doesn't get a lot of time off and takes nothing for the agony he must be in, I don't know how he lasted this long.
Plus he was leaving in a few months anyway.

The guy was WWE Champion for 434 days or so, and now he acts like a little baby because he didn't like the direction they were putting him in with Kane and Triple H.
He's a cry baby. Most wrestlers on the roster would love to be WWE Champion for ONE DAY!! Let alone 15 months. If Punk does come back, I hope he jobs every match he's in for a long ass time. He deserves that!!

(for injuries or what have you) But I don't believe he just walked out. Hell for all we know he can show up tonight at their live Network show to boost that. And like I said if he is at WM in one of the high profile matches then it was planned all along. If not then I am probably wrong and he did walk out and I would have lost respect for him for being unprofessional. If he signed a contract then he should honor it through. Baring injury there's no reason to justify not honoring his commitment.

Still, it was good that they acknowledged his absence. The pop for his music was probably the biggest since Lesnar's return.

Not really sure what happened backstage but I'm not mad at anyone. I think we've all wanted to do that at work one time or another. I can't say that if I was financially set, I would do the same thing sometime.

I've liked Punk since he debuted on the WWE I could not be angry with him I understand what WWE are like after the many Superstars & Divas have left the company due to being unhappy.

I'm 60/40 of it. The 60% of me is mad at Punk cause he walked out on us, however the 40% in me understands why he left. I just wished he did it the right way and left after his contract expired. That way, it would have looked so much better and I would have totally supported Punk in leaving cause I understand he's burned out and/or upset at the way his character is being used. Also, Punk does seem to be a person who wants everything to go his way or he wants out, so I kinda can't support that either.

Not mad at all. The guy came back from injury way too soon last year, has looked like utter crap ever since, and was getting more banged up doing stuff that didn't matter. He walked out at a time where he wasn't important, storyline-wise. Him leaving paved the way for the Bryan vs Triple H match that they've been building since the summer. Ultimately, he left before his body gave out on him completely, and he opened up a top spot for Bryan. So I'm glad he did what he did, and I applaud it. I was saying for months that he looked like he shouldn't be in the ring anymore.

Despite what the dirtsheets say NO BODY knows what went on behind closed doors expect Hunter Vince and CM Punk. He could've left for ANY reason.

I place 100% of the blame on CM Punk. This is NOT WWE's fault for why Punk was not at Raw and will not be at WM. This is CM Punk's fault. He walked out. He had a contract. He chose to give the big you to the fans and left. Now that being said, I UNDERSTAND where Punk is coming from and 100% AGREE with him. What I dont agree with is how he is handling it. You are a contracted employee making a very good living. You live up to what you committed too. And when your contract is up....then you say what you need to say. You leave and you tell them exactly why you have ZERO interest in returning. That is your right. But to walk out and screw over people who bought tickets to Wizard World to meet you, to Axxess to meet you, to house shows, Raws and WM to see you perform.....thats bush league. That shows a selfishness and immaturity. You have screwed over the fans.

Plus he was leaving in a few months anyway. He is not an "at will employee". He is a contracted independent contractor. He has a contract that requires him to A, B, and C. And one of those things is to appear, barring injury, at all of his appearances. Not doing so can get him sued. He forgoed his right to "leave his job when he wanted to" when he signed that WWE contract. He did not HAVE to sign with WWE. He could have stayed in indy wrestling or become a garbage man, accountant, pilot...whatever. He could have done other jobs that dont require a WWE contract. He signed it and accepted the terms.

Hell no! Cm punk is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. Look what he did was wrong and leaving us, but he had a reason for it. He was pissed at the wwe and I understand him for that. Guys like batista and even the new age outlaws get huge pushes for being back only 1 month. For the new age outlaws to win the tag team titles is kinda ing stupid if you ask me. They are nearly 50 years old and held the tag belts for over a month. And that's why punk gets pisses at hhh and or the authority for pushing guys like that. Listen, I like batista and new age outlaws but come on. So am I mad at punk? No because he had a valid reason in doing so.

I'm not mad because that would be stupid. I am just astonished at the money that he is walking away from, especially if they don't give him royalties like they didn't do with Austin when he walked out. He was definitely floundering and it's his life and his decision. So I just accept that he left.

I have mixed feelings because I can understand his frustration if what we've heard is true. But really, at the end of the day he's only screwing his fans. He isn't hurting WWE a damn bit.
